Chapter 850 - 858 You Know It All

~4 min read 631 words

"Hmm," Jane Sampson’s thoughts were not at all on the matter at hand, so whatever Coco Edwards had said, Jane didn’t take any of it to heart.

What she was wondering about was what exactly Amber Edwards’s identity was.

Over two lifetimes, although Jane rarely socialized, she knew virtually all the major wealthy families in Capital Province. Yet, she had never heard of any family having a daughter named Amber Edwards.

"After we return, have Sister Bell check who exactly Amber Edwards is," Coco Edwards said. "She has quite the nerve to talk about banning you."

Coco Edwards, filled with indignation, took Jane directly back to the company.

When the two arrived at the company, Rock Bell had just finished a meeting. Seeing Jane Sampson and Coco Edwards arrive so early, she showed no signs of surprise on her face.

"Sister Tin, you already know?" Jane Sampson sat on the sofa, looking somewhat sheepishly at Rock Bell. Though she had been firm over there, she felt genuinely embarrassed in front of Rock Bell.

"I know all about it," Rock Bell nodded. "Does Amber Edwards have a problem in her brain? I’ve never seen bandits conduct themselves like this."

After saying this, Rock Bell glanced at the hairpin in Jane Sampson’s hair. She had seen Jane’s post in Moments yesterday, so she knew it was a Valentine’s Day gift from James Black.

Let alone it being a Valentine’s Day gift, even if it were just an ordinary gift, as long as it was from James Black, Rock Bell would never ask Jane to give it to someone else.

"Amber said she could ban you, which is a bit of an exaggeration, but she does have significant connections, which could impact your future work to a certain extent," Rock Bell thought for a moment, then added. "But don’t worry about this. I’ll figure out a solution for you."

After speaking, Rock Bell gestured with her hand, "I still have some matters to attend to here; you go home and wait for news. For these two days, don’t go running around everywhere."

"Okay!" Seeing that Rock Bell wasn’t angry, Jane Sampson breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh, and I have some news for you. You’ve got another endorsement lined up. The formal contract hasn’t been signed yet, but the other company has already approached me about it. Interestingly, it’s from an old friend of yours," Rock Bell said with a smile. "It’s from Quincy Forest’s company, Forest Clan, and they’ve just developed a new product they want you to endorse. The price is not low."

Jane Sampson was taken aback and asked unconsciously, "Is it because of Jasmine?"

"No," Rock Bell shook her head. "That girl doesn’t even know about this. Now the person in charge of Forest Clan is Jasmine Seven’s cousin, so, I guess it’s him."

After saying this, Rock Bell patted Jane Sampson on the shoulder, "This deal is secure. Accepting this endorsement will be very beneficial for you, so go home with peace of mind."

Afterwards, Rock Bell had Coco Edwards escort Jane Sampson out of the company.

Once the two were riding the elevator down, Rock Bell immediately called James Black.

In Rock Bell’s view, since the hairpin James Black had given Jane Sampson had brought her such big trouble, he should be the one to resolve the matter.

No matter how capable Amber Edwards was, for a newcomer in Capital Province, the Black Family could crush her with a simple flick of their thumb if they wished to.

Therefore, Rock Bell sneered. These people coming from small places really think Capital Province is like their little land? Haven’t they heard? Under the feet of the emperor, you can randomly bump into an official just walking down the street.
