Chapter 378: Rampaging on Our Ship
The leader of the men let out a chilling laugh: "We are under Lord Blackbeard's command, sent here to take this woman." As he spoke, he pointed his dagger at Guo Yao, who was hiding behind Li An.
Li An's gaze instantly turned fierce, a powerful aura of killing intent radiating from his body: "If you want to take her, step over my corpse first!"
At that moment, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and the others heard the commotion and rushed over. Luffy, seeing the scene before him, lost his smile instantly, replaced by a grim expression: "Hey! You bastards dare cause trouble on our ship!"
Zoro gripped his three swords, his eyes cold and sharp. He stepped forward one pace at a time, his aura forcing the enemies to retreat several steps: "Looks like another brutal fight today."
Nami stood to the side, frowning deeply, her fingers lightly brushing against the weapon at her waist: "These guys are such a nuisance."
The men under Blackbeard Tichi saw the Straw Hat Pirates arrive but showed no sign of retreating. They exchanged glances, then charged at Li An and the others once more.
The battle erupted instantly—blade flashes flickered, shouts deafening. Li An swung his longsword, each strike sharp and fierce, forcing the enemies back step by step. Luffy moved like a nimble monkey, darting through the enemy ranks, his fists landing with heavy thuds. Zoro's three swords gleamed with cold light under the moon, each slash wounding an enemy. Nami used her Clima-Tact to summon various weather effects, disrupting the enemies' vision.
Yet the men under Blackbeard Tichi were no ordinary fighters. They coordinated seamlessly, covering each other, creating serious trouble for Li An and the others. In the fierce battle, the enemies gradually scattered the attention of Li An's group. The leader seized an opening and suddenly lunged toward Guo Yao.
"Damn!" Li An's heart jolted—he tried to intercept, but it was too late.
Guo Yao stared in terror at the charging enemy, her body trembling slightly. As the enemy was about to grab her, she suddenly shut her eyes and silently prayed.
But the enemy never touched her. At that critical moment, a massive black hand suddenly emerged from the darkness, seized Guo Yao, and vanished swiftly into the shadows.
"Guo Yao!" Li An let out a desperate roar and charged after the direction she disappeared, regardless of everything. But the enemies had already vanished without a trace, leaving only an empty, dark void.
Li An stood frozen in place, his eyes filled with despair and rage. His fists clenched tightly, nails digging deep into his palms, blood seeping from between his fingers.
Luffy and the others gathered around him, their faces etched with shock and fury.
"Damn it! Those bastards took Guo Yao!" Luffy shouted, his fist swinging through the air as if ready to shatter it.
Zoro's eyes flashed with cold light: "Blackbeard Tichi—we'll settle this score with you."
Nami bit her lip: "Currently most important is finding Guo Yao's whereabouts."
Li An slowly turned around, his eyes brimming with resolve: "I will rescue Guo Yao—even if I have to chase her to the ends of the earth." His voice was low and powerful, like a vow forged from the depths of his soul.
