Chapter 571: Stop Arguing

The two stood face to face, the atmosphere instantly becoming taut as a bowstring. The air around them seemed frozen by this tense aura, making one feel suffocated.

"Enough, you two, stop arguing!" Kagome ran over anxiously, trying to pull the two apart. "Now is not the time to quarrel; we should find a way to solve the problem together." Her eyes were filled with worry and helplessness; watching these two people, both important to her, argue, she felt immense heartache.

Miroku and Sango also hurried forward to mediate: "Yes, everyone calm down, let's talk things through." Their faces bore anxious expressions as they tried to ease the tense atmosphere.

"Hmph, so you've finally come?" Inuyasha snorted coldly, the Tessaiga in his hand shimmering with a demonic glow. His eyes were filled with battle intent; his previous anger instantly transformed into hatred for the enemy.
