68. Heavy Slaughter

"Qin Hai, you're an Enforcer, for God's sake!" Xiao Zhang's teeth chattered; his face flushed red as he shouted at Qin Hai and the others, who were walking toward him with strange smiles.

Qin Hai tore off his human skin, revealing a face that showed only raw flesh and blood. He had completely devolved into a hunched, blood-soaked figure nearly two and a half meters tall. He carried the handbag forward, his pace unhesitating, leaving a bloody footprint with every step. His throat moved, emitting a hoarse voice: "Do you think the moral sense of this profession can awaken me? I am clear-headed right now, my will is sharp, and I simply want to kill you all. That is all."

Xiao Zhang opened his mouth, but faced with the terrifying pressure of the blood-man, he could not speak.

Qin Hai's gaze turned to Zhang Xiaoxiao. He held up the handbag to gesture at her and smiled: "Are you familiar with this thing?"

Zhang Xiaoxiao's pant leg grew hot; foul-smelling liquid could not be stopped from soaking through the fabric and dripping onto the floor. Her legs were so tense she couldn't move, and she suddenly fell to the ground, crawling backward continuously, leaving a wet trail behind her. Her eyes reflected that familiar handbag, filled with terror.

This was the luggage bag of the female assassin who had jumped onto the tracks to commit suicide. She remembered clearly that it contained several human heads and various violent implements.

"Yes, you were supposed to be packed inside it that day, too." Qin Hai smiled strangely, took the Bone-Chopping Knife that reflected a cold light out of the handbag, and continued to press forward step by step.

"I'll fight you to the death!" Xiao Zhang looked at the group of hideous thugs, his face filled with fear and rage. Unarmed, he let out a strange cry and charged toward Qin Hai and the others.

However, the seemingly heroic Xiao Zhang was like a mantis trying to block a carriage wheel. The moment he leaped forward, Qin Hai had already brought the Bone-Chopping Knife down. The Bone-Chopping Knife split Xiao Zhang's skull, cut all the way down, and got stuck in his spine.

"Ah... this guy really has a backbone." Qin Hai made a hellish joke that only he found funny. Watching the twitching corpse stuck under his blade, he chuckled, pressed down hard on the handle, and finally split Xiao Zhang unevenly in two.

Fresh blood splattered the entire carriage, covering Zhang Xiaoxiao's entire face. She squeezed into the corner at the end of the first subway car, screaming in a breakdown, the pupils of her eyes contracting forcefully.

The subway entered a dim Tunnel once again, and the world was plunged into darkness...

The sound of the footsteps and strange laughter of those evil ghosts and thugs echoed in Zhang Xiaoxiao's ears. She hugged her head and roared in terror, tears gushing out uncontrollably.

Suddenly, Zhang Xiaoxiao heard sounds of tearing and painful wailing.

"What is that!?" Qin Hai let out a sound of retching and fury.

"Kill it!" a group of people roared.

A burst of fierce ghost shrieks, a vicious slaughter.

Immediately following was a sound of bloody gore spraying. Within moments, Zhang Xiaoxiao felt a warm liquid flowing toward her. She was soaked by the bloody scent, the blood surging over and staining her boots and clothes.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—

The subway passed through the Tunnel, and the scene inside the subway was once again illuminated.

Zhang Xiaoxiao curled up in the corner, her face filled with terror. After a long time, she twitched and slowly raised her head, shaking it uncontrollably. Looking at the horrifying, bloody scene before her, the terrifying blood-man Qin Hai and those rampant, cold-blooded thugs had long since vanished. Various shattered human flesh and tissues were strewn everywhere; broken chunks of meat and human skeletons were scattered throughout the carriage. Everything before her was like an extremely luxurious R-rated slasher film.

She covered her mouth with her blood-stained hands, letting the foul-smelling blood slip into the gaps between her lips. When she saw the luggage bag submerged under the flesh and blood, and the Diamond Pendant hanging from a long, thin middle-finger bone, she instantly understood everything that had just happened.

Zhang Xiaoxiao stared at the Diamond Pendant with horror in her eyes, silent for a long time, until a "humph" sound escaped her nose. Uncontrollable laughter jumped out from her hoarse throat. In her unfocused pupils, there was only gratification and madness. She suddenly began to laugh out loud again.

"Hahahaha, serves you right, serves you right!" Zhang Xiaoxiao laughed like a ferocious evil ghost. Her facial muscles were so strained that her expression froze on her face. Her twisted features no longer resembled those of a beautiful female college student; she was just a female lunatic venting her emotions.

Perverts!

Idiots!

Shit!

She cursed loudly, exhausting every swear word she had ever learned, viciously cursing those things that had shattered into pieces and fragments, unable to tell which was which.

Gradually, Zhang Xiaoxiao's voice grew smaller, as if her vocal cords had been torn by her screaming. She couldn't make much sound, but her eyes remained fierce. Gritting her teeth, she continued to curse in a low, hoarse voice, moving her mouth in a cursing manner.

Not long after, the subway stopped. The tightly closed driver's cabin opened its door, and another blood-man walked out from inside. It looked at the tragic scene with an expressionless face, then glanced down at Zhang Xiaoxiao, who was soaking herself in the shattered remains. The other party was holding a human rib, continuously tapping it against a human skull.

The blood-man opened its mouth, making a clicking sound, and then finally spoke: "What's the situation..."

As it spoke, it extended its claws, slowly thrusting its sharp talons into Zhang Xiaoxiao's back, piercing through her body. It then hooked the light female college student in front of itself, its hollow black eyes examining this woman who had gone completely insane.

Zhang Xiaoxiao wept while spitting blood, but there was no longer a trace of fear in her eyes, only the final madness and mockery. Not knowing where she found the strength, she suddenly swung her arm, thrusting it straight into the eye right before her, and shoved a Diamond Necklace into the other party's eye socket along with it.

The blood-man let out a roar of rage and flung Zhang Xiaoxiao's limp, lifeless body against the subway wall.

Zhang Xiaoxiao's face, eyes still wide open in death, stuck to the glass of the carriage door and slid down bit by bit. Transparent tears flowed from the eyes pressed against the glass.

The blood-man clutched its eye in pain, stumbling. It took a great deal of effort to gouge its shattered eyeball out of its socket, bringing the Diamond Necklace that had been jammed into the eyeball out with it. It looked back viciously at the only relatively intact corpse at the scene, lifting its foot, wanting to vent its rage by fiercely crushing the detestable woman.

But suddenly, a disheveled black phantom appeared behind it. Immediately, the train shook violently again, and the lights inside the carriage flickered incessantly...

A moment later, the carriage calmed down, and the lights returned to normal. The subway door, with scarlet liquid seeping through the cracks, slowly opened. A beautiful corpse with eyes wide open in death slumped down from the side of the open subway door. Inside the carriage, there were shattered corpses everywhere, a scene of bloody silence.
