Chapter 210: Professor Oak's Taught Tactics, Not Forgetting the Electrocuted Team Rocket!
【Xiba: Black Satoshi is so strong, he defeated Black Xiba with a big advantage; my Poké Ball can't match his, and my tactics can't either—I was suppressed from the start. If I hadn't taken a tactical hit at the beginning, the outcome might still be uncertain!】
【Kenan: There aren't that many 'ifs'; even if there were, it wouldn't make much difference for Black Satoshi—what needs to be taken still has to be taken.】
【Yulongdu: During his travels, Black Satoshi received plenty of help—Ho-Oh and Lugia each left him feathers infused with their essence, and the Legendary Beasts took turns testing him; Black Satoshi passed all of them, and his strength grew tremendously in the process.】
【Qibana: Ordinary people can't even pass the trial of the Legendary Beasts; their sheer strength isn't enough, and they lack Black Satoshi's battle talent. They always seem to have a flash of inspiration in battle, but mostly they can't give proper commands when faced with sudden situations—all their experience comes from failure.】
【Just take Xiaomao from Bai Shijie—didn't he learn Ash's battle tactics? His Nidoqueen uses its tail to jump and dodge attacks; all of that is learned from battle.】
【Qibana, scoffing at the appearance of this Light Screen, self-proclaimed Ash as a Legendary Trainer—he disagrees, thinking only Emperor Dan deserves the title 'Legendary'. But since Ash set out on his journey, seeing his affection for Pokémon and his obsession with Gym Badges, those are qualities new trainers rarely have together.】
【Whether Black Ash or White Ash, they both love Pokémon just as much, growing steadily through Gym challenges; when facing evil organizations, they act without hesitation.】
【White Ash began rather reckless and lacking Pokémon knowledge, but he gradually learned during his travels; Black Satoshi had a solid foundation, was quick to learn, and would look into anything related to Pokémon, and his conduct was also decent.】
【Even more appealing to girls than Old Man Ben...... Now Qibana has no objection to calling Ash a Legendary Trainer because of the Light Screen; he just thinks Emperor Dan should be added as well, since Emperor Dan is currently the strongest Champion Trainer.】
Black World—
After the battle, Ash walked out to catch his breath; his match against Xiba had been really tense, and he didn't dare relax.
"Ash, nice work."
Professor Oak walked over smiling, giving Ash a thumbs-up.
"One of the Elite Four, Xiba—you defeated him, and I didn't expect you to become this strong!"
"Thanks to Professor Oak's tactics; otherwise I wouldn't have seized the initiative so quickly at the start!"
Ash admired Professor Oak, thinking he truly deserved to be the inaugural Champion of the League.
"Just know it yourself; no need to tell outsiders!"
Professor Oak hurriedly whispered.
He feared someone nearby might hear.
【Xiao Jian: Professor Oak in the Black World feels kinda weird—I can't put that feeling into words!】
【Juzhi: A bit lewd, but teaching Black Satoshi such tactics—yeah, I have no objection; however, if I were to battle Black Satoshi, I'd pretend I never said anything.】
【Brock: Too bad—I usually don't ask Professor Oak about battle tactics, otherwise I could learn some more advanced tactics from him; but would that be unfriendly toward challengers?】
【Ma Zhishi: Friendly? You don't need to go all out to be friendly; sometimes tactics can be used on challengers to help them improve strength faster, and we can also tweak the tactic.】
【Xiaoju'er:???】
【Tie Xuan: Just be a decent person—if you don't want to get mobbed by challengers when you go out, better not do that! Although your Pokémon can't beat yours in battle, outside we can gang up on you.】
Black World—
After chatting with Professor Oak for a while, the Team Rocket Trio disguised themselves as reporters and came to interview Ash.
"You guys look kinda familiar—have we met somewhere before?"
Professor Oak's brows suddenly furrowed as he scrutinized the Team Rocket Trio, even crouching to look at Meowth, but he just couldn't recall.
"No, this is our first meeting!"
James hurriedly waved his hands, giving an awkward laugh.
"Professor Oak, they're the ones who originally pretended to be Team Rocket!"
Ash had long seen through the Team Rocket Trio's disguise; although they sometimes disguise themselves well, their aura remains unchanged and cannot escape Ash's notice.
"Oh!"
Professor Oak clapped his hands, realizing it was those three guys.
"So it's you—what are you up to here?"
That sentence from Professor Oak directly triggered the Team Rocket Trio's combo attack.
"Since you asked sincerely,"
"I'll graciously tell you."
The Team Rocket Trio each threw off their disguises, shouting fiercely: "Hey kid, hand over Pikachu quick!"
They took advantage of Ash's post-battle lull, when his Pokémon had little stamina and hadn't recovered yet, to snatch the Pikachu they'd been craving.
Just earlier, Pikachu had shown great skill in battle, defeating several of Xiba's Pokémon; if they brought it back to Boss Sakaki, they'd surely get a promotion and raise.
Just as they pulled out a Poké Ball to release it, their bodies wouldn't move.
"What's going on? My body won't move!"
"Hey kid, what trick are you pulling now?"
Ash looked behind the Team Rocket Trio as Nurse Joy approached, releasing her psychic power to control them.
"Nurse Joy?" the Team Rocket Trio exclaimed.
"Pikachu!"
Ash gave Pikachu a glance.
After so many encounters with the Team Rocket Trio, Pikachu knew they show up just to get shocked and cause trouble.
Again came the familiar 100,000 Volts, and the Team Rocket Trio got blasted off again!
Watching the Team Rocket Trio fly off, Ash could no longer recall how many times he'd blasted them away.
