Chapter 15

"It won't affect anything if I say it?"

Old Liu said, "The cases we can bring out are all ones we can talk about. Actually, it doesn't matter whether we say it or not. Maybe if we say it here, a lot of viewers will know about it, and they can help us look for that person, and be on their guard. Our initial judgment is that it might be a crime of passion, but we'll have to wait until we catch the person to know exactly what it was."

Old Zhou nodded and said, "Then let's hope they catch them soon."

Boss Yang said, "You said it was a woman, that woman—why did she kill this man?"

"Not sure. The man was already married, and we suspect it was the mistress. But the woman and this man didn't really have much contact with each other. We didn't find any contact info in his phone either. Then later we found a transfer record—two thousand yuan. Probably prostitution."

"????"

Chen Fan said, very annoyed, "Too expensive, too expensive."

Old Liu said, "Yeah, it's a bit pricey in the city. If you go out to the countryside, it can be cheaper, around three or four hundred, I'd say."

"Damned bootlickers, jacking up the prices."

Boss Yang and Gao Ye were a bit speechless.

"Chen Fan, how do you know the prices?"

Boss Yang leaned close to Chen Fan and asked.

Chen Fan said, "I always pick up these little cards, so I just gave them a call. And the other side actually tried to charge me. Please—I'm this handsome, shouldn't they be the ones paying me?"

Pfft— hahahahahaha.
