Chapter 486

At this time, the forensic interns were continuing their examination.

Xiang Qinqin said: "Although this isn't our first encounter with such a brutal killing, the victim is also a woman."

"I feel the deceased suffered immense pain before death."

Upon hearing this.

Old Song frowned and said: "The case has just begun—how can you already call it a murder?"

Xiang Qinqin then realized her mistake.

Forensic experts provide evidence, not make deductions.

Chen Fan said: "Look, although the corpse was treated with such brutality, there isn't a single speck of dirt on it."

Chen Fan said.

He had noticed this from the start, and also discovered another detail.

There was not a single drop of blood at the scene.

That is to say…

"This is not the primary crime scene."

Chen Fan concluded.

Liu Mengyan said: "The victim's corners of the mouth were slit open, all the way to the ears."

In the observation room.

Sister Yuanyuan, who had just arrived, said: "This is somewhat like the Western 'Slit-Mouthed Woman'—kind of terrifying."

Teacher He hadn't thought much of it before.

But after hearing Sister Yuanyuan say that, he instantly shivered.

"Sister Yuanyuan, stop talking—I'm scared."

Teacher He said.

Chen Fan was continuing his inspection.

He extended his rubber-gloved hand and touched the corpse.

Instantly he sensed something was off.

"The corpse's temperature is wrong—it's too cold."

Old Liu said: "Also, there's a lot of dew on the corpse, meaning it's been here for at least several hours."

"This further confirms this isn't the primary crime scene."

Chen Fan nodded, but raised another question: "Yes, but there are so many people and vehicles coming and going here—how come no one noticed the corpse being left here this long?"

Upon hearing this.

Everyone furrowed their brows.

That's right.

Although this is wasteland, the side of this wasteland is a provincial highway—there must be plenty of vehicles.

Not to mention a TV show was filming here.
