Chapter 292

"Can you save me some trouble, kid? I'm telling you, you absolutely cannot bring me back a foreign daughter-in-law! And you can't let Feifei and Mimi be sad, otherwise, I'll break your legs!"

Chen Fu reprimanded.

Chen Mo chuckled, then changed the subject: "Dad, I see two newcomers in the company, that Hu Ge and Zhang Yi. How were they recruited?"

Hearing Chen Mo's words, Chen Fu said: "Recently, the company prepared to film *Chinese Paladin 2*, and then arranged auditions. We found this Hu Ge to be quite good, so we let him play Wang Xiaohu. Zhang Yi didn't sign with our company."

"*Chinese Paladin 2*? We haven't even finished producing *Chinese Paladin 1*, and we're already starting to film 2?"

Chen Mo looked at Chen Fu with some surprise.

Chen Fu hummed and smiled: "It doesn't matter. Anyway, the first part features you, and *Chinese Paladin* already has a certain fan base. The viewership ratings definitely won't be bad. We can also save some trouble by filming 2 in advance."

Listening to Chen Fu's words, Chen Mo felt a bit strange in his heart.

He had snatched the role of Li Xiaoyao that originally belonged to Hu Ge, but he didn't expect Chen Fu to recruit Hu Ge when preparing to film *Chinese Paladin 2*.

This was simply a twist of fate!

You know, in later generations, there actually wasn't a TV series called *Chinese Paladin 2*. The reason was that Hu Ge had a car accident, and also the protagonist in the plot of *Chinese Paladin 2* was Zhang Xiaohu.

"Then what about Zhang Yi?"

Chen Mo asked again.

Hearing Chen Mo's inquiry, Chen Fu's face showed a strange expression this time.

Then he told the story of signing Zhang Yi.

"Last month, I was driving to the company, and on the way, the car broke down. I happened to meet this Zhang Yi, and he helped me push the car to the side of the road. Then I chatted with him and learned that he was from the military drama troupe. It just so happened that our company was preparing to film *Soldiers Sortie*, so I introduced him. I didn't expect him to actually pass the audition."

Listening to Chen Fu's chance encounter, Chen Mo once again admired his old man.

His luck was truly too good!

Even a car breakdown could lead to meeting a future Best Actor.

"By the way, these past few days, *Chinese Paladin 1* has been contacting major TV stations. Currently, we have received quotes from four TV stations. The highest bidder is Xiangnan Satellite TV, which offered 800,000 per episode for the premiere rights. In addition, they hope you can participate in a program later to help promote it."

Chen Fu thought of something and added.

800,000 per episode. *Chinese Paladin 1* has a total of 30 episodes, which is 24 million.

The price is already considered very high among similar TV series, but after all, it is the first TV series starring Chen Mo, so such a price is considered reasonable.

"Okay, I know."

Chen Mo nodded.

Soon it was afternoon.

The company got off work, and Chen Mo and Chen Fu went home together. ===== CHAPTER 294 =====
