Chapter 168

The two's battle of words and swords moved from the dining table to the sofa, then from the sofa to the master bedroom.

Xu Can, who had only just had time these past two days to properly recover his health, suffered one blow, then another... multiple severe injuries in succession.

Mana is running critically low!

The next morning, at the same dining table.

Xu Can and Kristen Stewart sat together eating breakfast in silence.

Kristen forked a slice of bacon, put a small half into her mouth, then, still holding the bacon in her teeth, came over to Xu Can.

"Hm? I don't eat bacon."

"I told you! I don't eat... well, actually, the bacon isn't too tough today," Xu Can commented.

Kristen smiled in satisfaction and licked the oil from the corner of her mouth.

"No, seriously, do you prefer men or women?" Xu Can was quite puzzled.

"I don't know," Kristen shook her head. "I like both... hmm, actually, that's not right either."

"Oh?"

"I prefer women more, but if the man is you... well, it's actually okay."

"Just okay?" Xu Can looked at her with a half-smile.

The young girl, perhaps recalling yesterday, showed a hint of shyness on her usually cool expression.

"Great! Great, are you satisfied now?" She became somewhat angry out of embarrassment.

"Alright then, what are your plans after we finish eating?"

"I originally wanted to meet up with Emma. Filming for 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' starts next month, and I wanted to rehearse with her, but now..."

Originally, Kristen had been questioning Xu Can, standing up for Emma Stone.

Now, she herself had no face to face Emma.

"I know, you are her good friend, and you... hmm, like her too."

Xu Can looked at Kristen seriously.

"We do have some issues. Since you are with her, please take good care of her... and take good care of yourself too, OK?"

"Mm. Emma is very strong; she will stay calm. If anything happens, I will tell you."

Kristen looked at Xu Can with a complex expression.

She didn't even know what she was doing; everything had happened so quickly, just like the first time.

Days seemed to have returned to normal; Xu Can was much quieter and could finally devote more energy to his work.

The crew for 'Love and Other Drugs' has completed casting and preparations, and filming is set to begin today.

'Iron Man 2' has also entered production, directed by the original director, Jon Favreau.

Additionally, the Russo Brothers have officially joined Marvel and are about to take charge of filming 'Captain America'.

Unlike the original version, the new 'Captain America: The First Avenger' will briefly describe Captain America's origin story, then devote greater attention to a plotline about the 'Howling Commandos'.

Ultimately, just like the original, he defeats the Red Skull, and the plane and the Tesseract both crash into the Arctic Ocean.

Xu Can hopes the quality of 'Captain America: The First Avenger' can match his previous life's 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', or at the very least, make an 8-point movie.

As for 'Thor', Thor recently has been filming 'Star Trek', causing a scheduling conflict, so filming cannot start for now.

Putting Thor aside, the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe is operating in an orderly manner.

Xu Can can now free up his hands to film 'Love and Other Drugs' and research his next new film, 'Dying to Survive'!

If 'Dying to Survive' can be completed before 'Dallas Buyers Club', it is believed it will surely bring a small shock to the world.

As for Taylor Swift and Emma Stone...

The two of them have calmed down and figured out Xu Can's tactics.

Emma, in fact, couldn't bear a cold war; she replies to Xu Can's messages and calls, and occasionally even proactively shows concern for him.

Stone is about to head to the 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' set, and before leaving, she still wants to meet Xu Can.

As for Taylor Swift, she has not replied to any messages for now and is hiding away, refusing to meet.

On this day, Xu Can had just met with his new film partner, Anne Hathaway.

As the two were chatting, Anne Hathaway suddenly looked at her phone, her expression strange.

"Xu, Taylor released a new single; it seems to be about you."

"Hm?"

Xu Can's expression immediately became somewhat strange. He never expected that he would one day be dissed in a song by Taylor Swift.
