Chapter 383

Tony suspected S. H. I. E. L. D. was hiding something and hacked into their systems to find out;

Captain America, however, followed the rules and did not approve of Stark's actions,

The audience at this point still doesn't know that the two men's current situation is the exact opposite of what it was in "Captain America 3: Civil War."

Still, Cap kept a card up his sleeve and personally infiltrated the weapons depot to find out.

Meanwhile, Agent Natasha used her own spy skills to successfully draw out Loki's true intentions.

His goal was to bring the Hulk aboard the helicarrier to wreak havoc, stop S. H. I. E. L. D.'s operation, and successfully open the Chuansong Sect for himself.

Cap discovered S. H. I. E. L. D.'s secret of using the Tesseract to build weapons and went to confront Nick Fury,

The Avengers' internal chaos erupted once more, plunging them back into infighting.

Hawkeye, using the coordinates from the Mind Scepter, simultaneously piloted a Quinjet to infiltrate the helicarrier.

Several parallel plotlines finally converged, and the second great battle was about to erupt!

Just as the group was at one another's throats, Hawkeye blew up an engine, sending the helicarrier into a nosedive; the explosion also triggered the Hulk's berserker rage!

Crisis has arrived!

The heroes had no choice but to work together to solve the problem.

The Hulk chased Black Widow, only to be rescued by Lei Shen; the Meow Hammer displayed its full might, slamming the massive Hulk to the ground!

Loki seized the chaos to escape, killing the dutiful Agent Coulson along the way.

Black Widow and Hawkeye fought, and she finally managed to snap Hawkeye out of it.

The Hulk, in his berserker state, went on a rampage, tearing apart a fighter jet with his bare hands—only for the jet to carry him off the helicarrier and send him plummeting from ten thousand meters.

Cap and Iron Man coordinated, pushing the engine back into operation,

By the time the Avengers had dealt with the immediate invasion and the helicarrier was running smoothly again, the place was a complete wreck.

The Hulk and Lei Shen went missing, Agent Coulson sacrificed his life, and the mood turned bleak.

As a die-hard Cap fan, Agent Coulson's collectible Cap cards, which he always carried, were soaked through with blood.

"The original idea was to gather outstanding heroes together, attempt some great feats, and defeat enemies that were hard to defeat."

"Looking at it now, Agent Coulson was a bit of a wishful thinker; the belief he held to the death may not hold up."

The Avengers members were swayed by Nick Fury's silver tongue and fell into reflection.

Finally, Lei Shen raised Lei Shenzhichui once more, Tony Stark grew serious, and Cap's gaze turned resolute once again, 【】

The Big Three finally chose to cooperate fully against the unknown enemy!

The film entered its final act, with the main stage being the Manhattan district in the heart of New York City!

Stark Tower!

The flying Tony Stark arrived first and discovered Loki attempting to open the Chuansong Sect.

After a fruitless confrontation, Tony was thrown off the building by Loki.

"Noooo!!!"

Watching Tony Stark plummet from a skyscraper dozens of stories high, the audience's hearts couldn't help but clench!

After two standalone "Iron Man" films, this character has already won a place in people's hearts!

Originally a second-tier Marvel hero, he leapt to become the number-one fan favorite, splitting the spotlight with Cap!

Faced with this situation, Iron Man's fans, although they knew he wouldn't die, still couldn't help but worry for him.

He wasn't wearing his armor!

At the critical moment, Tony Stark's bracelet glowed red.

A suit of armor rocketed out, actually catching up to Tony Stark and completing its transformation mid-air!

"Holy Lord!!"

"Yeah!"

The shot of the armor assembling mid-air ignited the entire atmosphere!

Auto-locking, mid-air assembly—the Mark 7 armor made its debut!

Building on the briefcase-style Mark 5, Tony had newly developed the Mark 7, taking its combat power to the next level!

Warm applause rang out in the theater once more!

But before the cheers could end, the Chuansong Sect had already been activated!

Countless terrifying-looking Chitauri forces poured in, swarming toward the New York sky like locusts!

Worst of all, Leviathan warships, like giant whales, emerged from the Chuansong Sect, their incomprehensibly massive bodies blotting out the sky and casting a shadow over New York!

Here, Xu Can deliberately used many contrast shots.

New York citizens looked up, unable to even see the full silhouette of the Leviathan!

The oppressive dark mass weighed down on the audience's hearts, making it hard to breathe!

Shocking!

Even those without a fear of giant objects couldn't help but tremble all over, awakening the fear of massive things encoded in human genes!

It even gave rise to a sense of hopelessness against an insurmountable foe!

With a comprehensive upgrade in visual effects, the new "Avengers" delivers an even more intense apocalyptic feel!

The film's Gao Chao battle has already begun!

Tony Stark, serving as the air force, constantly used his high-mobility flight and palm repulsors to counter aerial threats.

Facing the fast-roping ground troops, Cap, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and other heroes each used their own skills to protect the citizens.

Lei Shen, meanwhile, went straight for the head, taking on Loki directly—the two brothers began their second bout!

Empowered by the Mind Stone, Loki's illusions and magic were even more potent, making him difficult even for Lei Shen to handle.

Each hero, fighting solo, gave it their all, yet still struggled to stem the endless tide of Chitauri forces!

"Kind of reminds me of Budapest."

"And it's even more desperate than the Budapest I remember."

Black Widow and Hawkeye are still trading quips, but they leave behind an unsolved mystery.

What exactly happened in Budapest?

Soon, Captain America is worn out from fighting, Black Widow is gasping for breath, and Hawkeye has shot every last arrow dry;

New York plunges into catastrophe, the Earth itself hangs by a thread!

The audience grows more and more oppressed as they watch, their emotions compressed to the breaking point, seeking some channel for release!

Just as all hope seems lost,

Bruce Banner rides up on a little electric scooter, leisurely approaching the battlefield, briefly easing the tense atmosphere.

"Banner's here? Get ready — I brought the party."

Tony Stark instantly draws the attention of a massive Leviathan beast, which comes charging in with terrifying momentum!

Seeing that the Chouzhelian Alliance might face total annihilation, the mild-mannered Dr. Banner steps forward alone.

"Dr. Banner, you can get angry now."

Banner gives a faint smile. "I'm always angry."

Roar!

Bruce Banner visibly enters a berserk state — under the most cutting-edge special effects rendering, the transformation from man to green giant Hulk is seamless and fluid!

The Incredible Hulk, reporting in!

Boom!

Facing the enormous Leviathan beast, a single punch from Hulk halts the creature's advance!

The audience's pent-up tension is instantly ignited by that punch!

"Hit him!"

"Way to go!!"

"That's it! The Incredible Hulk!"

Accompanied by the Avengers' main theme, the camera sweeps around in a circling shot, panning across the six heroes one by one!

The film's atmosphere reaches its absolute peak at this moment!

Thunderous applause erupts throughout the theater!

Some are even moved to tears!

Avengers Assemble!!

This is the Avengers the fans have always imagined!

Xu Can did it!
