Chapter 136: Master of Empty Promises Su Chen

In fact, Bai Lu's facial features were very delicate, and her skin was extremely tender.

Her figure wasn't as fiery as Yang Mi's, but she was still curvy.

She had quite the goddess vibe.

But since she was an internet celebrity by origin, her personality was overly lively.

Carefree, even somewhat crazy!

Moreover, she was naturally straightforward, spoke directly, and hid nothing.

She directly asked if Su Chen wanted to hit on her.

Before Su Chen could even open his mouth.

Yang Mi spoke up in his defense.

"He has unique tastes; he likes other people's wives."

"A young, pretty, single girl who has never been in a relationship like you might not be his type."

Yang Mi, of course, was well aware of Su Chen's Cao Cao trait.

But she didn't dare be one hundred percent certain that Su Chen wouldn't lay a finger on Bai Lu.

So she only said "might"!

Bai Lu licked her lips.

"Then did Sister Mi divorce... because of him?"

Yang Mi slapped the table.

"Hey, is that something you can ask about?"

"You haven't even signed yet, and you're already trying to dig up our gossip!"

"Are you an undercover reporter?"

Su Chen said seriously, "I'm not tying you to my assistant position."

"If you do well, I can give you a million in base salary plus commission; I will frequently give you exposure."

"Wait until your age, experience, and popularity accumulate bit by bit."

"At a certain point, I will give you a blockbuster film, letting you soar and rise to the top tier."

Previously, Yang Mi had given Su Chen a script called "Ning An Ru Meng".

But in this world, the female lead of this play was not Bai Lu.

It was another actress.

The current Bai Lu was still struggling on the fringes of the entertainment industry, unknown to anyone.

The reason Su Chen chose Bai Lu as his assistant.

Was not only because she was young and beautiful.

It was also because the girl was quirky, lively, cheerful, and good at socializing.

Much better than finding a mute assistant.

Bai Lu breathed a sigh of relief.
