Chapter 204

The position of this rift has been jumping between different layers of the abyss.

Even if the time of jumping into this rift differs slightly, one will enter a different abyss.

"Where are we going, Princess?"

Qingluan asked.

Princess Chenxi said: "The Moon God energy in the Silver Moon Bow isn't much, dealing with the lord of the Lava Abyss is somewhat strenuous, and we have no way to choose our own position. Apart from all the lava abysses, just pick any one. This one — it doesn't feel very strong. Qingluan, grip my hand tight!"

Having said that, Princess Chenxi took Qingluan and jumped in!

The sky glowed with a faint red light, as if countless matches were burning at the same time.

It looked lively.

But in fact, very little light was cast down!

And below, it was a land full of wounds!

The abyss was not stable.

A whole layer of the abyss collapsing and being destroyed was entirely possible.

Here, the law of chaos reigned!

"Rumble rumble rumble!"

Suddenly, a mountain crashed down.

"Whoosh!"

An insect, entirely black and resembling a praying mantis, leapt out from within by the skin of its teeth.

The insect had just barely escaped one disaster, only to see a ball of flame hurtling toward itself.

Before it could dodge, it was struck by that ball of flame, and then burned violently.

"Why are there so many bugs here!"

Lin Yan muttered after that astonishingly springy insect burned to ashes.

"This place is probably a Demon Bug Abyss. Good, I'll just burn it all with one sweep. With such a large area, I wonder if half a month will be enough to finish burning it!"

Lin Yan was not going to waste any more time.

This time he had come to the abyss precisely to do this!

Failing to seize the chance and go all out would be a waste of this opportunity!

Lin Yan drove the flames.

"Boom!"

The flames instantly expanded, burning all the surrounding abyssal creatures and plants to nothing!

Immediately after, the flames began to spread!

Lin Yan planned to adopt an energy-point-saving method.

Just like a wildfire sweeping the plains — once ignited, don't linger, head straight for the next target.

Because the flames would continue to burn on their own afterward.

The burned energy points and evolution points naturally belonged to Lin Yan.

This method could also expand the burning area. This time he planned to burn for half a month. The larger the burning area, the higher the temperature of the Demon Bug Abyss would naturally rise, making it much easier for Lin Yan to burn things!

Using this method, even after Lin Yan left, the Demon Bug Abyss might still keep burning for a long time, and even after leaving, Lin Yan could continue to receive energy points!

Although back then burning the Misty Mountains didn't completely burn out even after a month.

But things were different now.

Back then, Lin Yan was still in the primitive accumulation phase!

With only a few hundred thousand energy points, he wouldn't have dared to instantly spread flames across several kilometers around him like he could now!

And back then, Lin Yan had only just reached Heavenly Fire — even spending those few hundred thousand energy points, he couldn't have done what he could now!

In the Demon Bug Abyss, the Heavenly Fire began to sweep the plains!

Compared to the wildfire sweeping the plains of back then, the Heavenly Fire sweeping the plains now was truly terrifying!

All the abyssal demon bugs within met their doomsday!

When Lin Yan unleashed the Heavenly Fire sweeping the plains, Princess Chenxi and Qingluan were still searching for the Abyss Lord.

"Careful!"

Princess Chenxi pulled Qingluan to hide behind a black plant.

This time, her target was only the Abyss Lord. Against the Lord of the Abyss, her strength couldn't be replenished, and she was unwilling to waste too much strength fighting.

So whenever she encountered an abyssal creature that was even slightly strong, she would generally choose to avoid it.

Of course, if some blind abyssal creature came at her, Princess Chenxi would also choose to kill it.

This was also the way all humans who entered the abyss, or other lives from the Gods' Continent, behaved.

There were countless abyssal creatures — killing a few unimportant ones and wasting one's own strength was the most foolish act.

Generally, those who did that didn't live long!
