Chapter 205: They Seem to Be Afraid!

"Squeak squeak!"

The demonic insects in the Demonic Insect Abyss have met their doomsday!

The flames spread far too quickly—the demonic insects that fled a little slower were chased down one after another by the fire and perished in a sea of flames!

"Truly exhilarating!"

Within the blazing flames, Lin Yan felt an incomparable sense of exhilaration.

The last time he burned so recklessly was back in the Misty Mountains, wasn't it!

But even in the Misty Mountains, Lin Yan had never been as unrestrained as this time!

This time, he finally didn't have to carefully plan out his energy points!

Just unleash a wild, raging blaze—that's the way!

Although Lin Yan's fire was vast, he kept the temperature under control—it wasn't that high.

The ground in the abyss contained some special substances and wasn't so easy to melt.

Lin Yan wouldn't waste energy melting the ground either.

Lin Yan drove the flames, burning like this for a full five days.

In those five days, no one knew how many abyssal demonic insects died beneath Lin Yan's flames.

However, Lin Yan had only burned to death One Sixth-Rank Abyssal Lord!

This One Sixth-Rank Abyssal Lord was also a giant black mantis—the Demon Mantis Lord.

"These fellows sure know how to run!"

Lin Yan muttered to himself.

Although his flames spread quickly, with such a wide-ranging spread, as long as a Sixth-Rank Abyssal Lord detected it early enough, escaping was naturally possible.

This level of the Demonic Insect Abyss didn't feel very strong to Lin Yan, but surely there should be more than one Sixth-Rank Abyssal Lord, right?

Even though he hadn't burned more Abyssal Lords, Lin Yan wasn't in a hurry.

He could completely trade quantity for quality.

The number of abyssal demonic insects was simply too great.

The quality of these abyssal demonic insects was far higher than that of the cave spiders.

Among cave spiders, often only one out of more than a hundred could contribute 1 evolution point to Lin Yan.

But among these abyssal demonic insects, on average, only about twenty or so were needed for one to contribute 1 evolution point to Lin Yan.

Accumulating little by little, the number of evolution points was also quite terrifying.

"It's already enough to level up the Undying Heavenly Fire to level ten!"

Lin Yan said, glancing at his experience while continuing to burn.

Two days ago, Lin Yan had already gathered enough evolution points and leveled up to Ninth Rank Undying Heavenly Fire!

And now, more than three days later, the experience needed to level up to Tenth Rank Undying Heavenly Fire was finally enough!

Then Lin Yan directly consumed the evolution points and leveled up to Undying Heavenly Fire.

By now, the number of evolution points required for each level-up was increasing.

In just five days, Lin Yan had leveled up twice—if not for burning so unrestrainedly in the Demonic Insect Abyss, it would have been absolutely impossible!

However, leveling up from Tenth Rank Undying Heavenly Fire To the Next Rank required far more evolution points.
