Chapter 59: The Modification of the Flame Layers!

Beside the magma lake, the agonized roars of the Lava Giant rang out one after another.

"Aaaah! Who sent down such a terrifying flame? Why can it even burn my body!"

The Lava Giant was completely dumbfounded.

As a Lava Giant, it had long dwelled within the magma lake. One must understand that ordinary magma already exceeds a thousand degrees in temperature, and at the depths of the magma lake, that temperature was even higher.

Therefore, when it said it feared no flame, that was true enough.

Flames hot enough to melt steel could not melt it!

Even the lava fire within the lava repository could do nothing to it.

Yet now, the flames that had leapt onto its body were rapidly melting it!

The Lava Giant was utterly panicked!

In its panic, it also could not fathom where such flames had come from!

"Could it be a flame sent down by the gods? No, no, don't kill me, don't kill me, I am willing to submit! Great God of Flames, I, Deku, am a Fifth Rank Lava Giant, and I am willing to become your faithful believer!"

The Lava Giant begged for mercy again and again.

It did not know which god had sent down the flame, so it used "God of Flames" as a blanket term.

No sooner had its voice fallen than the flames on its body paused for a moment.

Seeing this, the Lava Giant hurriedly prostrated itself on the ground, begging for mercy without cease.

But after that brief pause, the flames blazed up fiercely once more.

This immensely massive Lava Giant was burned directly into ash by the flames.

"You have burned a Lava Giant to death, Evolution Points +5000."

The system's notification chime sounded.

"You have obtained sufficient lava fire energy. The system has parsed the energy structure of the lava fire. You may spend Evolution Points to rearrange the fourth layer of flames, granting them the properties of lava fire. Proceed with the modification?"

The system's voice sounded once more.

This was also the reason Lin Yan had decided to burn this Fifth Rank Lava Giant to death.

On one hand, the Evolution Points and energy points were quite abundant.
