Chapter 294

In just an instant, Fried's figure was frozen into an ice sculpture.

"Contestant Ye Yu's attack hit contestant Fried!"

"Fairy Tail Team A gains 1 point, Fairy Tail Team B deducted one point!"

Seeing Fried frozen by the ice, the live commentator at the commentary booth announced loudly.

"Ah, what a pity!"

Gildarts in the stands, seeing Fried frozen, knew that Fried had already lost the chance to compete for first place.

Just as Gildarts was speaking, Fried, who was frozen in the arena, was also teleported away due to the protection mechanism.

Of course, if Ye Yu expanded the range of his Space Law, the protection mechanism of this match would also fail on the spot.

It's just that Ye Yu couldn't be bothered to do so.

"Alright, finally only left with..."

After dealing with Fried, Ye Yu's gaze fell on Leo, who was trapped by Fried's ritual on the high tower.

Leo noticed Ye Yu's gaze looking over, and he immediately had the feeling of being targeted by a hunter.

However, just as Leo was constantly thinking of countermeasures in his mind, the live commentator's prompt sounded in the arena: "Five minutes are up, the competition for the top three ends here!"

Hearing this prompt, Leo breathed a sigh of relief.

At the same time, a huge virtual screen appeared in the sky above the arena.

On that screen, the top three rankings had already appeared.

1, Fairy Tail A, 10 points

2, Fairy Tail Team B, 8 points

3, Lamia Scale, 6 points

Seeing this ranking, the audience in the arena erupted into cheers.

"Fairy Tail, to actually get first and second place, really amazing~!"

"Go Fairy Tail!"

Perhaps in the past, those audience members still looked down on Fairy Tail a bit.

But after seeing Ye Yu freeze the entire magic town, they no longer dared to underestimate Fairy Tail.

The ranking of this opening match was an even greater change to their view of Fairy Tail.

While the audience cheered, Makarov and the other members of Fairy Tail were also excited.

Just in the opening match, Fairy Tail's two teams got first and second place.

There couldn't be a better situation than this.

"Hahaha, see that? This is Fairy Tail!"

Makarov stood on the railing, arms crossed, laughing triumphantly.

Erza looked at Ye Yu on the screen, the corners of her mouth curving into a crescent.

And Natsu seemed to be inspired by Ye Yu as well, slamming a fist and palm together heavily, grinning with fighting spirit: "As expected of Ye Yu, next we have to get first place too!"

"Aye!"

Happy raised his hands and chimed in.

At the same time, the guild master granny of Lamia Scale was furious: "Leo, turn 100 laps after you come back!"

Sherry hurriedly comforted: "Master, Leo getting third place is already very good!"

While everyone was cheering, Ye Yu in the arena had already come out of the magic town.

"That... could you melt that ice?"

The Pumpkin Man walked up to Ye Yu and asked somewhat awkwardly.

Hearing the Pumpkin host's words, Ye Yu then remembered that the match hadn't completely ended.

"One moment!"

Ye Yu said to the Pumpkin host, then waved his arm.

The ice that had originally frozen the entire magic town instantly turned into cold air and then disappeared.

And the frozen Rufus, Fried, and other contestants were also unfrozen.

"Thank you!"

Seeing the magic town unfrozen, he first thanked Ye Yu.

After Ye Yu walked past him, he added: "Looking forward to your performance later!"

After Ye Yu left the arena, Fried and Leo also left the arena one after another.

Finally, Rufus, Beth, the big-headed man, Ye Ge, and Ivan remained in the magic town.

Although they had been frozen by Ye Yu's Ice Magic before.

But they still knew about what happened outside.

"Damn it, got played, Fairy Tail!"

The big-headed man said with a hateful expression.

"Has the top three been taken away? Although it's a bit shameful, I can't lose again next!"

Rufus jumped onto a high tower and scanned the people on the street below.

After confirming everyone's position, Rufus raised his arms and placed his fingers on his head.

"Let's end this boring battle in one go!"

After speaking, a dazzling light erupted from Rufus's body.

Under the illumination of this light, the entire magic town suddenly became dim.

And only the place where Rufus was located was extremely bright.

"That guy is actually standing in such a conspicuous place!"

"I'll take this point first!"

Ye Ge of Quatro Cerberus, after seeing Rufus on the high tower, felt happy in his heart.

Without any hesitation, he moved his feet, and his figure rushed toward Rufus like an arrow released from a bow.

But before Ye Ge could truly get close to Rufus, four golden beams of light radiated from Rufus's body, sweeping toward the four contestants below.

"Memory Make: Night Star!"

The first to suffer this golden beam attack was naturally Ye Ge, who had rushed below Rufus!

Ye Ge, hit by the golden beam, was like being struck by lightning.

Soon, the other three contestants in the town were also hit by this golden beam one after another.

"Sabertooth, gains four points!"

At this moment, the live commentator shouted loudly.

Although this move by Rufus was very clever.

But with Ye Yu freezing the entire magic town beforehand.

So when the audience saw this move by Rufus again, the cheers were not as intense as imagined.

However, Erza, Mirajane, and the others could still see that this Rufus was very strong.

If it weren't for Ye Yu, the first place in this round would probably have been Rufus!

"Is this the strength of Fiore's strongest guild, Sabertooth? Indeed not weak!"

Erza looked at Rufus on the screen and said.

And at this time, the system's mechanical prompt sounded in Ye Yu's mind.

Ding, congratulations to the host, obtained Magic Power +16.

Ding, congratulations to the host, obtained Memory Make Magic!

Hearing this system prompt, Ye Yu's expression stirred.

This Memory Make Magic was naturally Rufus's magic.

This Memory Make Magic, although not comparable to magics like Arc of Time or Arc of Embodiment.

However, Memory Magic can make all Make Magic ineffective.

Now that the system had dropped this magic, Ye Yu naturally wouldn't refuse.

"Does the host want to collect the Memory Magic attribute?"

"Collect!"

Following Ye Yu's order, the attributes dropped by the system in the arena all gathered toward Ye Yu's side. ===== CHAPTER 296 =====
