Chapter 1045

Xiao Han thought for a while, tapping the back of his right hand with his left index finger: "I'm not sure either, but since it says all survivors have gone to City F, does that mean City F is safe now?"

"Not necessarily. It could be a base set up temporarily."

Hearing Ning Chen's words, Xiao Han suddenly remembered something: "I get it. City F is a military city. That's probably why it hasn't been breached."

Just as Ning Chen was thinking about what to do, the system, which had been silent all along, suddenly issued a mission.

"Ding. Mission issued: Arrive at City F smoothly."

Hearing the familiar system voice, Ning Chen quickly contacted the system: "System, what's going on in this world? And why can't I contact you?"

Yet Ning Chen's questions fell on deaf ears; the system made no sound at all.

Ning Chen narrowed his eyes slightly. This situation with the system was extremely off.

Thinking of this, Ning Chen instinctively looked at Xiao Han, only to see Xiao Han staring at him with a serious expression.

Seeing Ning Chen look over, Xiao Han spoke: "You received a mission too?"

Ning Chen raised an eyebrow; it seemed Xiao Han had one as well.

"In that case, why don't we say ours at the same time?"

Xiao Han nodded, agreeing with Ning Chen's suggestion.

"Then."

"Arrive at City F smoothly."

"Reach City F at all costs."

The two looked at each other; the missions were identical.

Noticing Xiao Han's rather poor expression, Ning Chen said: "So, you can't contact your one either?"

Hearing Ning Chen say "either," Xiao Han's originally serious face showed slight surprise: "Either? Does that mean..."

Before Xiao Han could finish, Ning Chen nodded.

Now, not only were their missions the same, but both of them were unable to contact their systems. This was no small matter.

"Something is off. When I came to this world before, this never happened."

Xiao Han frowned, somewhat unable to understand everything happening now.

Ning Chen, however, was not so worried. He said slowly: "Since they can issue missions, why not just follow this one and see what happens?"
