Chapter 13: Pursuing the ultimate Fusion!

This is a huge gladiatorial arena, and the surroundings of the arena are filled with torches. Countless Duel Spirits surround the ritual platform, watching this duel from another dimension.

From the current point of view, this is a duel that disappoints them. The human's turn is too ordinary, it can only be said to be sparse and ordinary, and it fundamentally cannot make these warriors feel passionate, which makes them unable to understand why Black Luster Soldier allowed them to come and watch.

"My turn, draw."

Tiancheng Guang drew a hand card and took a careful look at the card in his hand.

Good, this draw is very good!

"I activate the Normal Spell card, Instant Fusion."

"Instant Fusion?" The well-informed Black Luster Soldier recognized this card at a glance.

"Oh oh oh! Finally, I can see Tiancheng's all-Fusion deck again!" Jaden was excited on the side without a beginning or end.

"All-Fusion deck?" The two opponents looked at each other, looking at each other.

Sounds very powerful, what does it mean?

"Pay 1000 Life Points... hmm..." Tiancheng Guang felt some stinging pain in his body.

Is this the "real" duel? It's really exciting!

Jaden & Tiancheng LP: 5900 → 4900

"This card can Special Summon a Fusion monster of Level 5 or lower from the Extra Deck as a Fusion Summon."

"Wow, it's the same type of effect as Instant Fusion!"

Same type?

Ultimate enhanced version!

"I Special Summon from the Extra Deck—Thousand-Eyes Restrict!"

The evil god full of eyes emerged from the cup of instant noodles.

"Uh..." Jaden's excitement stalled for a moment.

A bit disgusting.

Thousand-Eyes Restrict, Level 1, Dark, Spellcaster, 0 ATK. Fusion monster.

"Actually Thousand-Eyes Restrict!" Gaia was surprised.

As a Duel Monster spirit, he naturally knows this famous evil god!

Tiancheng Guang also likes this card very much.

Although it is a bit ugly, it doesn't matter!

The card player's goal is to become the world's number one. Gender and appearance don't matter, as long as it's strong enough!

So when Super Polymerization fused this monster for him a few days ago, he was very happy, because in his deck, there are quite a few ways to bring out this card!

"Activate the effect of Thousand-Eyes Restrict, once per turn, target 1 monster on the opponent's field. Equip that monster to this monster as an Equip Card!"

I saw that every eye on the evil god of a thousand eyes shot out strange purple light, shining on the female demon, turning her into a phantom, and swallowing her into his body.

"Hmm..." Avian felt goosebumps all over his body.

As a Fusion material for Infernal Wing, seeing his evolution being "eaten," no matter what, it was very disgusting.

"Thousand-Eyes Restrict can use the opponent's monster as its own power to increase its ATK." He couldn't help but open his mouth, "However, if I remember correctly, monsters Special Summoned by Instant Fusion will be destroyed at the end of the turn!"

He fanned his wings, as if driving away the malice on his body: "No matter how strong the monster is, as long as it disappears, it has no meaning!"

"Of course I know this kind of thing." Tiancheng Guang immediately revealed another card in his hand, "I activate the Continuous Spell card, Flame Sword Domain!"

A huge ring of fire illuminated the prison.

"Once per turn, you can send a face-up monster on your hand or field to the Graveyard, and Special Summon a 【Flame Swordsman】 from the Extra Deck as a Fusion Summon!"

"I send Thousand-Eyes Restrict on the field to the Graveyard, Fusion Summon, Flame Swordsman!"

Flame Swordsman, Level 5, Fire, Warrior, 1800 ATK.

"Wow! It's me!" A spirit under the spectator stand saw himself appear and couldn't help but be a bit excited.

It probably feels about the same as "being on TV."

"Eating Thousand-Eyes Restrict to go on the field, brother, this wave is a big profit!"

"Not bad, not bad. If he can win this match, I will definitely contribute!"

Tiancheng Guang, who didn't know that he had just played a combination and cheated the recognition of a warrior, continued his operation.

"Activate the Equip Spell card, Chain-Link Dragon Flame. This is an Equip Spell card that can only be equipped to a Fire-attribute Warrior-type monster. The monster equipped with this card increases its ATK by 700 points."

Flame Swordsman, ATK 1800 → 2500

"Another Fusion?" Now, everyone knew what Tiancheng Guang's so-called "all-Fusion deck" was like.

"Can a deck that is all Fusion cards really be used?"

"Uh, but isn't this warrior from another dimension using it?"

"That's what's said, but if he wasn't the second player in a tag duel, he wouldn't have the chance to use Thousand-Eyes Restrict to swallow monsters and then use them as tributes for Fusion Summoning, right?"

Whether it is the human world or the spirit world, seeing this kind of extreme deck, there will be more or less discussions.

"Hey, you guys, don't talk nonsense!" Before Tiancheng could open his mouth, Jaden had already shouted excitedly at them, "Tiancheng is a duelist who pursues the extreme of Fusion and pursues the most noble Fusion. Don't disturb him!"

"The extreme of Fusion?"

"What a clear-pursuing warrior!"

Tiancheng Guang rubbed his chin. He could still blow this kind of talk with those extreme fanatic faction people in the Fusion Department, but to a group of spirits...

Forget it!

If you want to lie to others, you have to lie to yourself!

Anyway, it's quite fun!

"That's right, Fusion is the most noble form of summoning!"

"I attack directly with Flame Swordsman!"

Avian & Gaia LP 8000 → 5500

"Good! What a powerful counterattack, Tiancheng!"

"Still early, don't be careless." Tiancheng Guang was a bit speechless. He glanced at his hand, thought for a while, and set two cards, "Set two cards, end turn!"

"A wonderful turn, solved the monster, combined a powerful monster, and left a Set card." Gaia, who was opposite Tiancheng Guang, nodded lightly and made an evaluation, "It's just that this is far from enough!"

"My turn. Draw."

"I activate the Spell card, Chaos Ritual. I will Tribute Heart-Key Fairy and Gaia the Fierce Knight of the Wind in my hand, Ritual Summon—"

"Black Luster Soldier!"

The noble warrior crossed light and darkness and fell from the sky. The whole world seemed to be cheering for him, whispering his name.

Tiancheng Guang and Jaden looked at Black Luster Soldier on the referee stand, while he had no emotional fluctuations.

Black Luster Soldier, Level 8, Earth, Warrior, 3000 ATK. Ritual monster.

Gaia opened his mouth and said: "In the Gaia Village where I am, all warriors are taking Chaos Ritual as their ultimate goal!"

"Ritual Summoning is the most respectable form of summoning in the world! Foreign warriors like you will never understand!"

That's true too.

If a person insists on playing Ritual Summoning, it is indeed worthy of respect.

After all, Ritual Summoning still requires Ritual monsters to be in hand to activate, but... having said that, in the era of Tiancheng, many Ritual monsters don't need Ritual Spells to summon at all!

"Tiancheng, Set card?" Jaden noticed Black Luster Soldier appearing, swallowed his saliva, and hurriedly greeted Tiancheng Guang.

Tiancheng Guang shook his head.

As a veteran card player, he wouldn't easily activate cards. Different opponents have different ways of dealing with them, and what's more... this is "Black Luster Soldier" after all.

Sure enough, just as Tiancheng Guang worried, Gaia directly revealed another card in his hand: "Banish me, who is Dark-attribute, and Heart-Key Fairy, who is Light-attribute, from the Graveyard—descend!"

"Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning!"

A Black Luster Soldier, far more shining and radiant than the Ritual version, descended from the sky. He was shining with golden light, as if he were the sun.

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, Level 8, Light, Warrior, 3000 ATK!

"So strong, two monsters at the level of Blue-Eyes White Dragon at once!" Jaden shouted excitedly, "Wow, I feel my blood is boiling!"

Tiancheng Guang also had a solemn face.

Two Black Luster Soldiers—this represents that the spirit power of this Gaia is not low! It is even possible that he is really going to become a new "Black Luster Soldier"!

"It's now! I activate the Trap card, Chain-Link Dragon Flame, equip it to Flame Swordsman, increase its ATK by another 700 points, and choose a monster on the field to change to face-down Defense Position!"

Flame Swordsman, ATK 2500 → 3200.

"What!" Gaia's face under the mask showed surprise.

"The one I choose is, of course, Envoy of the Beginning!"

Leaving Envoy of the Beginning on the field is looking for trouble for himself! If he attacks, people might die!

"Wow, brother, you covered the Envoy of the Beginning!"

"Don't talk about it, I have never felt as cool as today—it feels like a dream!"

In the spectator area, Flame Swordsman and his friends were already cheering.

"Too strong, Tiancheng, not only defended against that troublesome Envoy of the Beginning, but also created a powerful monster with 3200 ATK. In this way, the opponent's offensive..."

"Naive!" Gaia sneered, "I activate the Equip Spell, United We Stand. Equip it to Black Luster Soldier.

For every face-up monster I have on the field, its ATK increases by 800 points!"

Black Luster Soldier, ATK 3000 → 3800.

"Oh no, this is higher than Flame Swordsman!"

"Attack Flame Swordsman with Black Luster Soldier!"

Black Luster Soldier instantly disappeared from his field, abruptly teleported to Flame Swordsman, and slashed down with a sword.

"A monster equipped with Chain-Link Dragon Flame can use Chain-Link Dragon Flame

"But the damage still has to be taken!"

Jūdai & Tiancheng LP: 4900→4300.

Flame Swordsman ATK: 3200→2500.

"Phew..." Tiancheng Hikari breathed a sigh of relief.

Jūdai had set too many flags today; he was having a hard time handling it.

"See that? A Ritual Monster, defeating a Fusion Monster!" Gaia's lips curled up, "I set one card and end my turn!"

"That's amazing, to be able to do this much even against Lord Chaos Soldier!"

"And he even protected his own monster!"

"The pinnacle of Fusion, huh..."

"Honestly, I'm even starting to want to follow this warrior."
