Chapter 385: Hero's Dream

"Draw." The Long Shen drew a card from the deck casually.

"At this moment, because of the effect of Mirage of Nightmare, I draw up to four cards in the opponent's standby phase!" Judai seized the opportunity and hurriedly drew four cards.

"Hmph, haha, did you actually draw this card?" The Long Shen looked at the opponent replenishing his hand but wasn't nervous at all. It looked at the card in its hand and couldn't help but laugh, "If it were the past, facing Lord Lord Ba Wang, I would never have drawn this kind of card."

"The power of the duel would be suppressed to the minimum, but now, everything seems different."

"Activate spell card, Dark Corridor."

"This card can add 1 【Dark World】 monster from the deck to the hand."

"?!"

"Hehehehe, you know what I'm going to add, right?" The Long Shen sneered, "I add the second Dark World Long Shen Grapha from the deck to my hand!"

"What?" Jim climbed to the window, felt a force coming, and shouted in shock.

"He can actually create a second copy of his own body card? Don't tell me there are three?" Kenzan also shouted closely behind.

"You..." Looking at the Dark World Long Shen adding a second copy of itself to its hand, Judai's face became much more serious.

If it's not a spirit, it's often difficult to determine how strong a spirit's strength is.

Even in a duel, it's hard to see how high a spirit's "spirit power" is.

But, one thing is certain.

Often, a spirit, at most, has only 【one】 body card of itself! Because wanting to replicate a card that perfectly contains 【one's own】 power is very difficult for a spirit, almost comparable to evolution!

And a spirit capable of creating a second, or even third 【self】 card, is undoubtedly a top-tier spirit in the spirit world!

"Hahahaha—Lord Lord Ba Wang, haven't you remembered yet? I am one of the top-tier demons in countless dimensions!" The Long Shen sneered, "So, of course, I have three 【selves】."

"Dark Corridor's effect. After taking the card, discard one card from your hand."

"I discard Dark World Mad Wang Bulong."

"Discarded Bulong?"

"Because you want to use the effect of Gates of Dark World, right?"

The companions heard this and immediately realized.

Indeed.

Changing hand cards is also a good choice.

"Activate the effect of Gates of Dark World, banish Bulong from the graveyard, discard a Fiend-type monster, and draw a card."

"Of course, what I discard is myself." The Long Shen drew a card casually, then pointed at the opponent, "Then, disappear, warrior of the universe, my effect! When discarded to the graveyard, target 1 card on the opponent's field. Destroy that card!"

"Don't even think about it, the effect of Neos Fusion in the graveyard! When a fusion monster on my field that uses 【Neos】 as fusion material is destroyed, I can banish it as a substitute!"

"Heh, fearless struggle—"

The Long Shen looked at the card it drew and sneered coldly.

"Activate trap card, Forces of Dark World! Target 2 【Dark World】 monsters in your graveyard to activate. Add those cards to your hand!"

Judai widened his eyes slowly.

The two 【Dark World】 monsters in Grapha's graveyard... that is...

Two Graphas!

The Long Shen slowly picked up the two selves in the graveyard, then leisurely summoned a monster.

"Normal summon, Dark World Vanguard Beige."

A grinning Dark World common soldier appeared in front of the Long Shen.

Dark World Vanguard Beige, Level 4, Dark Attribute, Fiend-type, ATK 1600→1900.

"Then... continuous spell card, Dark World Library!"

Countless books flew out from the gate behind the Long Shen, stacking up to form a library.

"Activate during your main phase. Select 1 【Dark World】 monster from your hand to discard, and all 【Dark World】 monsters on your field increase their ATK by 100 times the level of the monster discarded by this effect until the end of the turn.

What I want to discard, naturally, is... Dark World Long Shen Grapha!"

Beige, ATK: 1900→2700.

"Long Shen's effect, destroy your Flare Neos!"

"Open set card, quick-play spell card, Very Hungry, send the spell/trap cards on my field to the graveyard, increase LP by 1000 for each, I send Instant Neo Space and continuous spell card Mirage of Nightmare equipped to Flare Neos to the graveyard, increase LP by 2000!"

Judai Yuki, LP: 4000→6000.

"LP is getting higher and higher, do you really not want those cowardly humans to get hurt?" The Mad King laughed insidiously, its eyes rolling around, not knowing what kind of ghost idea it was thinking.

"However, the effect isn't over yet, Dark World Library's effect. When a monster whose original race is Fiend is discarded from your hand by the effect of a Dark World card or the opponent's effect, activate. Select 1 card from your hand to discard. Then draw two cards!

Hehe... what I want to discard, it's obvious, right? It's the second me!"

Boom!

The Long Shen's clone hit Flare Neos like a meteorite. This time, it didn't have the protection of fusion power and was instantly shattered.

"Not over yet, the second Long Shen's effect, destroy your last protection!"

The small machine vehicle had never seen such a scene, spinning around in terror on the ground, but it was of no use and was blown into parts everywhere.

"Grapha!!!" Judai gritted his teeth and read Grapha's name, "Card Trooper's effect: activate when this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard. I draw one card."

With this, Judai's hand returned to 5 cards.

"Then, activate again, Dark World Dealings." This was also the second one.

The Long Shen drew a card from the deck leisurely, and Judai also drew silently.

"Discard Dark World Warrior Goldd."

It basically used monsters from its own faction, which could be considered qualified.

"Goldd's effect: activate when this card is discarded from the hand to the graveyard by an effect. Special summon this card."

The golden demon that had been one-turn-killed by Tiancheng Guang appeared on the Long Shen's field.

Dark World Warrior Goldd, Level 5, Dark Attribute, Fiend-type, ATK 2300→2600.

"Then—return Goldd and Vanguard to the hand!"

The two monsters dissipated like bubbles from the field, and at the same time, two monsters exactly the same as the Long Shen slowly revived in the darkness, accompanied by hideous wild laughter.

"Hahaha—no matter how hard you try, it's useless."

"Two monsters with ATK 3000!?"

"It's over, even increasing LP is useless."

"How, how could this be, Judai used up all his cards to defend, and was still easily wiped out..."

The Mad King laughed wildly, it had already started gesturing at the humans nearby, pondering how to kill them more beautifully and cruelly.

"Wake up, little guy, heroes aren't something you can just be! If you can't even win, what's the use!? Your companions, your friends, those so-called classmates of yours, will eventually leave you—if not killed by us, they will be killed by other things!"

"Direct attack! Go, my clones!"

Judai's face was gloomy.

He was already a bit annoyed by the opponent calling him Lord Lord Ba Wang on one side and laughable on the other.

He was never really such a perfect-tempered, truly optimistic person; his heart had long been filled with responsibility. At this moment, he only had responsibility and anger left.

He only thought of one point.

Absolutely must not lose LP—the worry of those classmates before wasn't unreasonable; that Mad King looked like it could do such a thing!

"Quick-play spell! Kuriboh Call! Add 1 Kuriboh or Winged Kuriboh from your deck to your hand or special summon it!"

"Come on, partner!"

"Kuri-kuri!" Winged Kuriboh flew out from Judai's side, cheered for Judai, and then resolutely stood on the field, claws guarding in front of its chest.

Winged Kuriboh, Level 1, Light Attribute, Fairy-type, DEF 200.

Clang—

In an instant, Kuriboh was torn apart by the demon. However, although Winged Kuriboh disappeared, a giant light shield lit up beside Judai, guarding him from any invasion.

"When Winged Kuriboh is destroyed on the field and sent to the graveyard. This turn, the battle damage I take becomes 0!"

"Tsk..." The Mad King put its hands down disappointedly, not going to gesture about how to kill people anymore.

If it were dueling, the batch of people it captured would have died long ago. It was a pity that the Long Shen wasn't the type of demon it was, being more old-fashioned; without causing damage, it wouldn't demand a duel price.

Grapha looked at the scene and frowned slightly. As one of the oldest and highest-level demons, it had already guessed some of Judai's thoughts, but this wouldn't affect its thoughts. It just shook its head and set a card casually.

"Then let's continue, continue your pain."

"No matter how painful it is, I can endure it! Because, not only here, but in the far distance, there are countless friends supporting me."

He wanted to protect all the classmates, all the spirits, and take everyone away!
