Marry a grandma.

In simple terms, that was the order I received.

“…What did you say?”

“Didn’t hear me? I said you need to sacrifice for the family.”

Rage surged inside me and my vision flickered, but I forced myself to ask.

“There’s an old hag. She’s looking for a groom to marry, and for the sake of the family, I’m being sold off to her. Is that the story?”

“Exactly.”

Man, I could barely hold back the curses itching to spill out.

Not to mention my fists.

“Well, it’s not so bad, right? Who knows, maybe she’ll pamper you like a pet, thinking she scored a young stud.”

Crack!

Oh, f*ck me. I couldn’t hold back.
