Chapter 1739

The Grand Elder thought for a moment: "We can make a big show of recalling Chen Zhanglao and the others, then have Chen Zhanglao and the others lie in ambush near Yuncheng for a month and give it a try…"

"You mean…"

"I think that Shenlongshang Alliance should have gotten wind of it by now too!" the Grand Elder said slowly. "Given their temperament, they absolutely cannot swallow this insult!"

"Worth a try!"

The President agreed directly.

Trying it out wouldn't cost anything.

If they happened to catch someone, it would be another big haul!

No reason not to try!

Moreover, Tan Ming had great faith in Guo Tianyou!

Grand Elder Guo Tianyou was not only powerful in strength, but also the strategist of the Eight Treasures House.

For several thousand years, the fact that Eight Treasures House could still stand firm under the oppression of Shenlongshang Alliance was due not only to the sacrifices of its Divine-tier Beast Tamers, but also greatly to Guo Tianyou's strategies.

In direct confrontation, Eight Treasures House was often at a disadvantage.

But Guo Tianyou would always find ways elsewhere to claw back some of the disadvantage for Eight Treasures House.

He could often inexplicably ambush and kill some of Shenlongshang Alliance's strong experts!

It could only be said that Shenlongshang Alliance was indeed strong.

The Demon Race's Beast Tamers were indeed quite formidable.

But their minds were all rather straightforward…

Of course, a more reasonable explanation would be that they were used to having strong experts of their own, used to maximizing their own advantages.

It's said that overwhelming force defeats all tricks, but that's only when the gap between the two sides is especially huge.

Eight Treasures House's strength indeed couldn't match Shenlongshang Alliance, but actually the gap wasn't especially huge!

"By the way, has there been any news from Tan Zhiqing's side?"

"Not yet, but it should be within the next few days!"

In Yuncheng, Yun Shuying and Su Yang once again received orders transmitted from headquarters.

The orders were sealed within the messenger's memory; once subjected to external spiritual power interference, the orders would completely vanish from the messenger's memory—a form of special protection.

For Divine-tier Beast Tamers, invading an Emperor-tier Beast Tamer's memory was all too easy!

Thus Beast Tamers were forced to develop many secrecy-type skills as well.

After receiving the orders, Su Yang couldn't help but evaluate the Grand Elder with a single phrase: "Old schemer!"

Because the Grand Elder's guess might really come true.

The probability might be half, or thirty percent.

But even if there was only a ten percent chance, it would be worth gambling on!

Yuncheng absolutely had Shenlongshang Alliance's spies, and the death of Elder Black Wing would absolutely reach Shenlongshang Alliance.

Yun Shuying sought Su Yang's opinion: "Chen Zhanglao, should we act according to the orders?"

This way of asking showed that Yun Shuying already valued Su Yang's opinion greatly.

It wasn't as if Eight Treasures House's Elders had never disobeyed the President's orders.

After all, Eight Treasures House wasn't an army; there was no rule that obeying orders was the Elders' sacred duty.

Elders out on missions had the right to adapt flexibly according to actual circumstances!

"If we go back, will there be a mission anytime soon?"

"Impossible!" Yun Shuying said. "Last time we managed to take down the Blue Demon Kingdom branch was actually not easy; they're already on guard now."

"Then I think the Grand Elder's idea is pretty good!"

Hearing Su Yang's reasoning, Yun Shuying was quite caught between laughter and tears.

She could tell—Su Yang just wanted to seize every chance to kill Shenlongshang Alliance's strong experts!

If you said there was no deep-seated blood feud between the two sides, she wouldn't believe it!
