Chapter 185

"I've remembered your name. I'm Hou Lie. If you ever come to Flame City, find me—I'll buy you a drink!"

"I'm Cai Mingcheng, from He Guan City. When you get to He Guan City, mention my name!"

"…"

Su Yang said calmly: "Let's hurry and find the others. Once we get them back, we retreat to the Worm Train!"

"Alright!"

"Let's go!"

"…"

Huo Kun followed behind Su Yang, a look of relief on his face.

He Yingzhuo whispered to Huo Kun: "Your Seven Stars City really produced a talent—Su Yang has sharp wits, strong power, and keeps his head clear in battle. He's a natural leader!"

"He still needs trial by fire!"

Huo Kun said that aloud, but the smile on his face couldn't be hidden.

Su Yang was the genius of their Seven Stars City, the junior he had high hopes for.

Huo Kun was past forty, long since lost any desire to compete—he felt only joy seeing the younger generation rise.

After killing three Rainbow Illusion Butterflies and scattering the swarm, Su Yang's sense of smell returned to normal.

More than twenty Beast Tamer, all following behind Su Yang, slaughtered ordinary Illusion Butterflies along the way; after cutting down two more Rainbow Illusion Butterflies on a street, they finally stopped at the entrance to an underground parking lot.

The underground parking lot was pitch-black, like a giant mouth ready to swallow them all.

Two emergency motion lights still worked, emitting a sickly green glow.

Su Yang pointed at the underground parking lot: "They went inside!"

"I'll go!"

Hou Lie from Flame City stepped forward.

A ball of orange-red flame appeared before Su Yang.

【Name】: Flame Spirit

【Talent】:

1. Blazing Fire (Common); 2. High Temperature (Common).

【Growth Potential】: King-Rank Mid-Grade

【Attribute】: Elemental, Fire

【Skills】:

1. Fireball; 2. Flame Tongue; 3. Rocket; 4. Fire Wall; 5. Flame Burst; 6. Sea of Flame; 7. Flame Explosion.

Su Yang had rarely seen a Flame Spirit with growth potential reaching King-Rank Mid-Grade.

The moment the Flame Spirit appeared, it illuminated the entire pitch-black underground parking lot!

"Let's go in!"

This time, Hou Lie led the way with his Flame Spirit.

Other Gold-Rank Beast Tamers also summoned their pets that could emit light.

Su Yang also spotted a rare Light-Element Cloud Beast—shaped like a cloud, hovering in midair, radiating a soft white glow that felt warm and comforting on the skin.

Su Yang warned: "Be careful—my Storm Eagle can't help us here now. Watch for the silver-white scales on your arms—if they crack, we're likely facing Rainbow Illusion Butterflies!"

Inside the parking lot, the Storm Eagle could no longer see through the clouds.

"We understand!"

Most Gold-Rank Beast Tamers were battle-hardened, experienced warriors.

As they descended the slope, the stench of corpses grew stronger, making Su Yang want to cover his nose.

Inside the underground parking lot, they saw only a few scattered Iron-Rank Illusion Butterflies.

The rest were almost all cocoons, each as tall as a person, pale yellow and white!

On every cocoon, a human was stuck fast with white fluff.

Those people had their limbs pressed against the cocoons, as if hugging them tightly.

Some cocoons were empty shells, each clinging to a corpse with a small hole in its skull—death grim and twisted.

Su Yang glanced at the hundreds of cocoons before them—all Illusion Butterflies and Rainbow Illusion Butterflies' cocoons!
