Chapter 192: Rapid Level-Up! Qian Ran

The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly lay quietly on the back of the Storm Eagle, and the Storm Eagle did not reject it.

Perhaps because they shared the same master.

Su Yang looked down at the earth; the training ground prepared for them by Wucheng City was filled with numerous Black-Iron-level ferocious beasts.

These ferocious beasts—Black Plague Rats, Gray-Toothed Rabbits, Mutated Cockroaches, Jin Gang Ant Colonies, Mutated Sparrows—were similar to those in Qixing City.

But these alone were enough to raise the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's level!

Su Yang found a grassland with many Black-Iron-level ferocious beasts; as soon as he landed, several nearby Black Plague Rats and Gray-Toothed Rabbits fled into their burrows.

Su Yang didn't care—he had the Storm Eagle observe from the sky and took the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly out to hunt.

The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly hovered in midair; under the brilliant sunlight, its beautiful large wings reflected dazzling light, mesmerizing to behold.

"Come on, let's go hunting!"

The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly spun in midair, its large black eyes fixed on Su Yang, expressionless.

But Su Yang could sense through mental communication that it wanted to hunt here.

Su Yang said, "There are no prey!"

He had just jumped down from midair, scaring away all the nearby Black-Iron-level ferocious beasts.

These low-level ferocious beasts are extremely sensitive to power; the moment they sense a formidable enemy, they flee.

The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly shook its head.

"Then improvise!"

The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly nodded, hovering silently in midair, gently flapping its beautiful large wings.

Soon, Su Yang sensed a faint energy fluctuation.

This energy fluctuation was extremely subtle; if not noticed, it could easily be overlooked.

"Has it started?"

Not long after, Su Yang heard a rustling sound.

A Black Plague Rat emerged from its burrow, looked up at the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, its jet-black eyes devoid of any spark.

It no longer feared Su Yang, simply walking dumbly toward the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly.

The Rainbow Illusion Butterfly extended its coiled proboscis; the hard proboscis pierced straight through the Black Plague Rat's skull.

Then, Su Yang heard the sound of someone greedily sucking a drink through a straw.

The Black Plague Rat struggled twice, then collapsed dead on the ground.

"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has slain a Black-Iron Mid-Grade Black Plague Rat. Experience +10!"

Activated, it was nearly silent; enemies died without understanding why—this was the power of a mental-type pet.

The only downside was the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly's habit of feeding on brain matter—hardly elegant!

After the Black Plague Rat, more Gray-Toothed Rabbits and Black Plague Rats emerged from their burrows, lining up one by one to walk before the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, each like a puppet, drained of their brain matter.

"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has slain a Black-Iron Low-Grade Black Plague Rat. Experience +3!"

"Ding~ Your pet, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly, has slain a Black-Iron Mid-Grade Gray-Toothed Rabbit. Experience +10!"

"…"

After hunting in this area for a while, the Rainbow Illusion Butterfly led Su Yang further along.

Soon, many more Black-Iron-level ferocious beasts arrived in line, submitting to its slaughter…

The power of the Mythic Talent, Mental Domination, was plain to see!
