Chapter 219

"Send your Storm Eagle to scout overhead, just in case—some powerful beasts don't truly stay within their own territory; there are always exceptions."

"I understand!"

After flying for two days, Su Yang found himself bored.

But just then, he suddenly felt a pang of dread!

He clutched his chest and frowned.

He scanned all around but saw nothing.

At that moment, the Storm Eagle suddenly sent him a message.

More than twenty adult Azure Cloud Eagles are flying toward us.

Adult Azure Cloud Eagles are almost all Platinum-tier beasts.

Su Yang learned from Xu Jiutian that deep within Mount Yandang, many Azure Cloud Eagles reside; every year, fearless mercenaries risk their lives to enter the depths of Mount Yandang and steal Azure Cloud Eagle eggs.

More than twenty Azure Cloud Eagles would certainly cause Heavy casualties to our two squads.

"What's wrong?"

Zhu Xiaoshuang also noticed his unusual state.

Su Yang immediately told her the message from the Storm Eagle.

Zhu Xiaoshuang asked no questions and immediately ordered: "Black Tiger Eagle, descend immediately! Everyone, return to the ground!"

Seeing Zhu Xiaoshuang's Black Tiger Eagle descend, the other members of the Seventh Squad, upon receiving the order, immediately followed suit; the Tenth Squad behind them also descended.

Within just two minutes, over a hundred Gold-tier Beast Masters had landed on the ground.

"There's danger in the air—secure your beasts and take cover immediately!"

Over a hundred Beast Masters secured their beasts and quickly hid beneath dense trees.

A burly middle-aged Beast Master asked: "Captain Zhu, what's going on?"

"Su Yang's Storm Eagle detected danger!" Zhu Xiaoshuang asked, "By the way, your Storm Eagle is still up there—is it in danger?"

Su Yang replied: "Those Azure Cloud Eagles are flying low—the Storm Eagle is fine!"

Zhu Xiaoshuang nodded: "Good!"

The burly middle-aged Beast Master glanced at Su Yang and smiled at him.

"None of our scouts detected anything… I've heard of your Storm Eagle—train it well!"

Hearing there was danger in the air, over a hundred Gold-tier Beast Masters fell silent, peering through the gaps in the trees at the sky.

Soon, a strong wind swept past, and a single adult Azure Cloud Eagle flashed overhead.

Immediately after, two more adult Azure Cloud Eagles chased after it.

Behind those two, seventeen more Azure Cloud Eagles followed closely as a group.

They flew just as swiftly, darting past above Su Yang and his team.

When the main group of Azure Cloud Eagles no longer appeared, Zhu Xiaoshuang stepped out from under the tree and said toward the direction the eagles had flown: "They must be in Mating season."

"Mating season?"

Su Yang was puzzled—he had never seen Azure Cloud Eagles in Qixing City.

The burly man chuckled and explained: "Azure Cloud Eagles are solitary beasts. Every Mating season, male Azure Cloud Eagles chase females. Female Azure Cloud Eagles are usually larger, faster, and stronger than males… If a male wants mating rights, he must use his strength to catch up to the female."

Su Yang asked curiously: "What if he can't catch her?"

"If he truly can't catch her, the female will stop and choose the one who arrives first!"
