Chapter 356: Mind Control! One Move, Instant Kill! Absolutely Nauseating!

The battle between No. 2 and No. 3 ended quickly.

No. 3 had two pet beasts severely wounded; No. 2 won easily.

"Then, let us proceed to the final match! The two winners, step forward!"

Su Yang and No. 2 stepped onto the stage together.

Yao Xing said: "The captain and vice-captain of Emergency Squad Fourteen will be chosen from among you—the winner becomes captain, the loser becomes vice-captain. Understood?"

"Understood!"

"Ding~ Task released: Defeat Hao Ren and seize the position of captain of Emergency Squad Fourteen!"

"Task reward: The host may designate one pet beast to awaken a new Common-tier talent, and simultaneously gain a matching new skill!"

Hao Ren?

Su Yang thought the name suited him perfectly.

But the man's appearance looked rather fearsome.

The moment he saw him, Su Yang thought of his own Earth Rampager Bear.

Hao Ren stood over two meters tall, broad and muscular like a steel tower.

His features were ordinary, but a large portion of his left face bore severe burn scars.

The scars extended down to his neck, deep into the collar of his military uniform, revealing pink, newly grown flesh.

Such severe burn scars were almost certainly caused by ferocious beasts!

Hao Ren's gaze toward Su Yang was calm yet mad.

Su Yang felt the man was certainly not easy to get along with.

The thought of becoming his future partner made Su Yang's head ache.

He preferred a more agreeable vice-captain—someone easier to coordinate with.

Hao Ren said in a low voice: "Su Yang, you are indeed excellent—but I am taking the captain's position!"

Including Su Yang, all eight Platinum High-Grade Beast Tamers here for selection were carefully chosen and trained by the Southwest Military Department as reserve officers; among their peers, they were all outstanding.

They all had great confidence in their own strength.

If they lacked this confidence, they would never have reached this point!

Hao Ren was no exception!

Hao Ren had extensive combat experience; having observed Su Yang's fighting style earlier, he had already devised a specialized tactic tailored to counter him.

If the tactic succeeded, he was not without a chance to win!

Before Su Yang could answer, Commander Yao Xing shouted: "I declare the match begun!"

Commander Yao Xing didn't want to waste a single moment!

The moment Yao Xing finished speaking, Hao Ren instantly summoned four Platinum High-Grade ferocious beasts.

And Su Yang?

He summoned only the Seven-Colored Illusory Butterfly!

Everyone present stared at Su Yang's action in astonishment.
