Chapter 383: Seize Military and Administrative Control of Anlong City

Hu Zhilong stepped onto the stage and emphasized to the assembled main force of Anlong City's Beast Tamer officers how despicable and hateful the Black Feather Organization was, expressed Anlong City's determination to eradicate the Black Feather Organization, and demanded their full cooperation with the Emergency Squad in the encirclement operation.

If not for Su Yang's incredible sense of smell, he might have actually believed Hu Zhilong was innocent.

Su Yang said beside Hu Zhilong: "Hu City Master, I have some words to say!"

Hu Zhilong nodded and said: "Next, please welcome Su Yang, Captain of the Fourteenth Squad of the Emergency Squad, to the stage to speak!"

Hu Zhilong stepped down from the stage, and Su Yang stepped up.

He calmly scanned the entire assembly of Anlong City's Beast Tamers and said loudly: "Now, I, Su Yang, Captain of the Fourteenth Squad of the Emergency Squad, announce to you the emergency appointment order from the Southwest Military Department!"

Hu Zhilong's face changed color!

This was not part of the plan—Su Yang had never mentioned this!

And the main force of Anlong City's Beast Tamers on the parade ground all wore solemn expressions.

Su Yang directly began reading:

"Southwest Military Department of the Huaxia Federation Order: First, transfer former Anlong Chengcheng Master Hu Zhilong and Deputy City Master He Miao to the Changwu City Garrison to serve as Director and Deputy Director of a certain office; appoint Su Yang, Captain of the Fourteenth Squad of the Emergency Squad, and Hao Ren, Deputy Captain, as temporary City Master and temporary Deputy City Master of Anlong City, to temporarily assume full military and administrative authority over Anlong City!"

Upon hearing this military order, the main force of Anlong City's Beast Tamers all felt their minds explode.

They had never expected the Southwest Military Department to replace their City Master outright.

They did not doubt the authenticity of the order.

Because he was indeed a member of the Emergency Squad, confirmed by their own City Master Hu.

To suspect that Su Yang, Captain of the Fourteenth Squad of the Emergency Squad, had forged a military order and attempted to seize Anlong City's military power?

These Anlong City Beast Tamers found it hard to believe.

Because there was no need—and no benefit!

Deputy City Master He Miao looked anxiously at Hu Zhilong.

He had no preparation at all!

Hu Zhilong turned ashen—he never imagined Su Yang would pull this move!

They had just agreed to rally Anlong City's main Beast Tamer force to eradicate the Black Feather Organization… and in an instant, Su Yang had seized his power!

Who could have anticipated this?

Hu Zhilong asked: "Captain Su, are you certain? Is this the Southwest Military Department's decision?"

"Yes!" Su Yang nodded seriously and said loudly, "The Military Department is deeply dissatisfied with your recent performance in Anlong City. As City Master, you have allowed massive population disappearances over the past few years, causing public outrage—you, as City Master of Anlong City, have been grossly negligent!"

Upon hearing these words, most of Anlong City's Beast Tamers accepted the Southwest Military Department's decision.

Because Hu Zhilong truly had been negligent!

Over the past few years, they themselves had also grown dissatisfied with Hu Zhilong.
