Chapter 384

Su Yang asked Hu Zhilong: "Director Hu, do you accept the military order?"

Hao Ren and Liu Mengyun stood right beside Hu Zhilong.

Should Hu Zhilong make any move, he would face a siege from three Platinum-tier Beast Tamer.

Hu Zhilong gritted his teeth and said: "I accept!"

"What about Deputy Director He?"

"I accept!"

If Hu Zhilong accepted, how could He Miao possibly object?

The main Beast Tamers of Anlong City all exhaled in relief.

Their mayor and deputy mayor had both chosen to obey the military order.

Then there would be no problem.

"Good! Director Hu, lead us to exterminate the Black Feather Organization now! Work must be done!"

"Yes!"

Hu Zhilong nodded.

So what if he lost his position in Anlong City?

He admitted he had indeed underestimated Su Yang—but so what?

Without evidence, Su Yang still couldn't touch him.

In Anlong City, a Level Two alarm blared.

The City Guard battalion began full lockdown; all residents within Anlong City moved orderly toward defensive positions.

Su Yang led over a hundred Gold-tier Beast Tamers and over two hundred Bai Yin-tier Beast Tamers, guided by Hu Zhilong, marching in force toward the confirmed base of the Black Feather Organization.

Entering a factory, over a hundred Gold-tier flying beast companions sealed the sky.

Inside the factory warehouse, Su Yang's group encountered resistance from seven Gold-tier Beast Tamers.

But how could these seven Beast Tamers possibly stand against Su Yang's team?

After killing ten Gold-tier Beast Tamers, Su Yang's forces stormed the underground chamber, defeated three Gold-tier and ten Bai Yin-tier Beast Tamers, rescued twenty-seven missing persons, and seized thirteen Blue Butterfly Eggs.

On the surface, this operation was a resounding success!

Hu Zhilong grinned triumphantly: "Captain Su, operation complete—the Black Feather Organization's hidden forces in Anlong City have been wiped out. Can we return now?"

"Wait!"

Su Yang called out to stop them.

Hu Zhilong smiled: "Did Captain Su discover something?"

"Follow me!" Su Yang led his team out of the underground chamber.

He stepped out of the underground chamber and sniffed the air.

Seven days ago, Hu Zhilong had been near this warehouse!

Even before entering the warehouse, Su Yang had smelled this scent.

Circling the warehouse, he detected Hu Zhilong's scent—and another stranger's—more clearly at the back.

That scent was mixed with the odor of over twenty Blue Butterfly Eggs.

In other words, seven days ago, Hu Zhilong likely stood here with someone from the Black Feather Organization.

When Hu Zhilong saw where Su Yang stood, his heart lurched!

Without reason, he began to worry.

Su Yang knew he needed to find that stranger's scent.

In Anlong City, like all other cities, no Beast Tamer was permitted to fly over the city unless during wartime.

"Follow me!" Su Yang ordered loudly. "All Beast Tamers must monitor each other. No one may leave the group—anyone who does will be dealt with under military law!"

Su Yang followed the scent, leaping over the wall; the other Beast Tamers followed right after.

Beyond the wall was a somewhat secluded road.

Seven days ago, Hu Zhilong turned left; the suspected Black Feather member turned right!

Su Yang went straight right, leading his force down two empty streets, and after about a kilometer, they arrived at a mechanical processing plant.

The plant's gate was tightly shut.

When workers and guards evacuated, perhaps some responsible manager had locked the door.

Su Yang easily twisted open the lock and pushed the door open, walking right in.

Over a hundred Gold-tier beast companions, carrying their Beast Tamers, flew above the factory.

"Director Hu, come in! I've made a new discovery!"

Hu Zhilong stood frozen, staring at Su Yang with a complex expression.

He simply could not understand how Su Yang knew about this place!

Had the Emergency Unit arrived earlier?

Su Yang looked at the empty factory and summoned the Hellblood Vine Flower.

"Survey the underground. Drive out the rats below!"

The Hellblood Vine Flower obeyed, cracking through the concrete floor and vanishing into the soil layer.

This factory might also have an underground chamber.

The Black Feather Organization members hiding underground would surely be formidable.

Otherwise, they wouldn't have gone to such lengths to conceal this place—preparing a disposable pawn.
