Chapter 744

Perhaps even the eggshell couldn't stop its ability.

"Sure!"

"How are they doing now?"

"One soul is irritable and desperate, the other is gentle and resolute, still holding onto hope… they're getting a bit worked up now!"

"Then soothe them a little, tell them I'll help replenish the life force they're missing, let them hatch safely out of the eggshell, and when there's nothing going on, put in a few good words for me, got it?"

He wasn't sure what rank the growth potential of the Twinborn actually was.

Still, grinding affection points — the earlier the better; best to start from prenatal education.

The Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly nodded, indicating it understood!

An extremely faint soul energy spread outward, like ripples on a calm lake surface.

Su Yang sat down on the big rock and watched the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly's performance.

In the sky, the Storm Eagle told Su Yang that fierce beasts within a five-kilometer radius had gone into a frenzy!

Regardless of strength or species, as if possessed, they all rushed toward Su Yang's direction.

But because this place was relatively close to Mount Dajiao City, the strongest among them was only Gold-rank.

Soon, one fierce beast after another appeared in Su Yang's field of vision.

They didn't attack each other, nor did they make any sound.

Their eyes were vacant, like puppets; one by one they lined up before the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly, bit open their own forepaws, pressed them against the pale green eggshell, and then were drained of life force by the Twinborn.

Su Yang knew that letting the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly handle this was definitely more efficient than he could manage.

But soon Su Yang noticed something off — these low-level fierce beasts hadn't died from being drained of life force by the Twinborn, but from soul attacks.

When the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly sensed that a fierce beast was about to be drained to death by the Twinborn, it would quickly deliver a fatal blow to that low-level beast's soul!

Su Yang understood instantly!

This was killing two birds with one stone!

It both satisfied the Twinborn's need to absorb life force, and let the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly harvest a bit of experience!

The Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly really was… thrifty and house-proud!

From morning until dark, within a five-kilometer radius, several thousand fierce beasts were all finished off by the Twinborn and the Seven-Colored Illusion Butterfly.

Only the piles of white bones stacked into small hills could prove those fierce beasts had once been alive.

He released the Void Wraith and packed away all the fierce beast corpses.

Quitting time — Su Yang decided to wrap up and head home.
