Chapter 235: A Deep Kiss
"Let go of me."
Ye Su's physical fitness was clearly not something a weakling like Celine could break free from.
But just then, the laboratory door opened, and a middle-aged woman walked out, looking at the two with confusion.
Seeing Celine about to shout, Ye Su acted on impulse and kissed her. Celine's brain went blank from the stimulation, and she stopped struggling, instead unconsciously opening her mouth and cooperating with Ye Su's demands.
The middle-aged woman had come out to find Celine, only to see such an explosive scene. She hurriedly exclaimed that young people these days were truly an eyesore.
"Celine, come find me after you're done!"
After saying this, the middle-aged woman pushed the door open and went inside, thinking it best not to disturb the couple's world.
At this moment, Celine was awakened by the sound of the door closing and struggled desperately, but how could her petite body struggle against Ye Su?
Feeling her hot body rubbing against him, Ye Su slapped her on the butt to make her behave.
Celine was suddenly attacked, and combined with being kissed by Ye Su until she was oxygen-deprived, her brain crashed, and her eyes became unfocused.
Ye Su clearly felt Celine's change; after all, her whole body had gone soft, so she must have had a reaction.
However, just as Ye Su wanted to take the next step, Celine suddenly reacted and bit Ye Su's lip.
Ye Su, in pain, hurriedly let go of Celine. Celine took the opportunity to break free, her originally fair face flushed with shyness.
A mix of slight anger and shyness, but also a lingering aftertaste. However, thinking of Ye Su's hooligan behavior of taking advantage of her, she kicked out with a "nut-crusher" kick.
Ye Su grabbed her long leg and pinned her against the wall. He thought to himself, *this woman is really ruthless; is that a place to kick?*
At this moment, with one leg grabbed by Ye Su and pressed against the wall, Celine could only stand on one leg. Seeing Ye Su's handsome face leaning in, especially in such a shameful position, Celine felt her face burning like fire.
Ye Su looked at Celine, whose ears had turned pink and whose eyes were blinking, not daring to look at him, and found it amusing.
As Ye Su leaned in, Celine's breathing became heavy. Finally, their bodies pressed together, and Celine could only hold onto Ye Su tightly to keep from falling.
Seeing this, Ye Su released Celine's leg, but because they were so close, it could only hang limply on Ye Su's shoulder.
After a long while, their lips parted.
Celine felt a bit lost and shy, looking at Ye Su before her, feeling a sense of emptiness in her heart.
At this moment, Ye Su asked: "Are you willing to be my teammate?"
Celine looked at Ye Su with misty eyes and nodded shyly. Just then, a prompt appeared in her mind requesting to add a teammate, and she looked at Ye Su in shock.
Ye Su patted her hand and said: "Go back to your research. I'll come pick you up tonight, and we can communicate all night long."
Celine didn't catch the implication in Ye Su's words at all; she just nodded with some disappointment, feeling unsettled, like the feeling of "I took off my pants and you show me this."
Looking at Celine's resentful eyes, Ye Su touched his nose awkwardly. It did give him a sense of guilt. *Forget it, don't think too much; I'll make it up to her tonight.*
Ye Su no longer had the urge to wander around. After all, he had been discovered by Celine earlier; if he hadn't acted on impulse, he would have been caught.
Mainly, if he had run into a man, his "impulse" wouldn't have worked.
After a circle, Ye Su returned to Dr. Higgins' laboratory. What made Ye Su strange was that only Higgins was conducting experiments, and George was nowhere to be seen.
*Could George have been put on the experimental table and become a test subject?* Ye Su was shocked by his own thought, feeling a chill in his heart.
At this moment, Higgins had just finished his work and saw Ye Su, so he frowned and said:
"Why are you back? Wasn't your companion caught? You also know my experiment isn't finished, so I don't have what you want."
Ye Su's heart sank. He hadn't expected George to be caught. Clearly, the two had been exposed, and the doctor before him obviously knew their purpose.
However, given the doctor's neutral attitude, it didn't seem like he was the one who snitched. It was highly likely their movements were under surveillance.
Ye Su hurriedly said: "Then I'll be going first, I won't disturb your research, Doctor."
As he spoke, Ye Su walked toward the door, but he was greeted by two dark gun barrels.
"Come with us!"
Ye Su hadn't expected to run into an ambush, but he felt no waves in his heart. A few guns couldn't hurt him.
"Alright, I'll go with you!"
The soldiers hadn't expected Ye Su to be so cowardly; the previous one had resisted fiercely.
Ye Su, however, was thinking that he could openly familiarize himself with the structure here, at least knowing where the control center was, so he wouldn't get lost next time.
Ye Su was pushed by several armed personnel through several security doors and into a room.
A huge transparent glass pane divided the room in two. In the center on the opposite side, a person sat in an office chair with their back to them. Ye Su curled his lip in disdain.
*Hiding and acting mysterious—aren't you going to turn around sooner or later? Putting on an act.*
However, there was someone on this side slumped on the ground with their arms crossed. Ye Su looked closely—wasn't that George?
It looked like his arm had been broken. Perhaps due to the pain, he had sweated profusely, and his hair was stuck to his scalp. His entire demeanor had collapsed; he was a completely different person from the spirited youth he had seen in the military camp.
But George had nothing to do with him, so Ye Su couldn't be bothered to care. He scanned the room; it was bare, not even a place to sit.
At this moment, the person in the chair opposite turned around and looked at them with contempt:
"Well, anything you want to say?"
A fifty-something-year-old man with a "Mediterranean" (balding) hairstyle. Ye Su had thought that someone keeping up such mystery would at least be a sinister-looking middle-aged hunk.
But facts proved that ugly people make trouble. Turning around to reveal a "hard-boiled egg" head was something Ye Su really hadn't expected. Looking at that reflective scalp, Ye Su curled his lip and said:
"You're doing pretty poorly. Before asking for favors, never mind cigarettes, alcohol, or tea—you don't even have a table or chair. You're so stingy, who would pay attention to you!"
George, who had already been in despair, couldn't close his mouth upon hearing Ye Su's shocking remarks. *We clearly snuck in and got caught, our lives are in their hands, why are you acting like nothing happened?*
The "Mediterranean" opposite was also furious. He slapped the chair and stood up, walked to the glass window, and glared at Ye Su:
"Please take your attitude seriously and honestly confess the forces behind you and your purpose."
Ye Su smiled: "My attitude is very good. It's your attitude that's terrible. We were sent by the President, and you don't even offer hospitality, but instead lock us up."
"Nonsense! Do you think I'll believe that?"
Ye Su smiled and pointed at George: "He's from the Bard family, isn't he? Just ask him and you'll know. We were indeed sent by the President, otherwise, do you think we'd be this bold?"
The "Mediterranean" scratched his remaining few hairs. Looking at Ye Su's fearless behavior, he actually believed it a little, hesitating whether to verify it.
Just then, George looked at Ye Su in shock and asked foolishly:
"Ye Su, were you really sent by the President?"
George immediately thought of his previous guess. Ye Su was a superhuman who had escaped to the base, right? He didn't look like someone sent by the President at all.
Seeing this, Ye Su thought to himself: *Pig teammate!*
*Usually, George seems so smart, why is he so confused at a time like this?*
So he said irritably: "Sent by my ass!"
The "Mediterranean" realized when George asked the question that the two weren't sent by the President at all. He had been tricked.
George was distracted by his arm and finally understood, unable to help but show a look of shame toward Ye Su.
Ye Su was indifferent. He hadn't expected the "Mediterranean" to believe him anyway; he was just saying it for fun. Seeing the "Mediterranean" angrily pounding the glass, it was clear he believed it now.
Ye Su walked quickly to the "Mediterranean" and raised his fist to smash at the "hard-boiled egg."
The fist magnified rapidly in front of his eyes, scaring the "Mediterranean" into scurrying away with his head in his hands.
Ye Su burst into laughter. The "Mediterranean" was embarrassed and angry, shouting:
"I'll let you laugh enough!"
As he spoke, he pressed something on the control button. Ye Su heard a hissing sound of gas; clearly, some gas was being injected.
Ye Su held his breath, but George, on the other hand, smelled a bit of the gas and started laughing wildly.
Gradually, George couldn't care about the pain in his arm anymore, clutching his stomach and laughing, until finally, he lay limply on the ground, his whole body convulsing, tears streaming from his eyes.
The "Mediterranean" looked at Ye Su, who was completely unaffected. If it weren't for George lying on the ground, he would have thought he had pressed the wrong button.
Now he only suspected that the two weren't in the same space. Suddenly, the "Mediterranean" exclaimed: "Superhuman! You are a superhuman!"
To the "Mediterranean," this kind of supernatural phenomenon was only a capability possessed by superhumans within the research institute.
Ye Su smiled and looked at the "Mediterranean," saying calmly:
"Superhuman? I suppose so!"
Seeing the "Mediterranean's" state, Ye Su decided to stop playing.
So he started hammering the glass in front of him. But one punch later, it didn't move at all. Ye Su frowned, looking at the glass; clearly, he hadn't expected it to be so hard.
Seeing this, the "Mediterranean" wiped the cold sweat from his head and laughed wildly: "Didn't expect that, did you? This glass is the latest product researched based on the alien warship's portholes. It doesn't even fear artillery fire. Even if you are a superhuman, so what? You're just a toy in my hands."
Watching Ye Su frantically hammering the glass, the "Mediterranean" felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction.
