Chapter 231: What Kind of Card is This!?_1
Su Qinwei sidled up to Yin Tian, her eyes full of worry, "Yin Tian, where did you get that card?"
"Lord Long gave it."
Yin Tian chuckled lightly, explaining, "Earlier, when Qinwei was ill and we couldn’t afford the hospital fees, although we later resolved it, Lord Long still had someone send over this card."
"He said it was a shareholder’s dividend, so I accepted it. There should be some money in it."
As the two were talking, the store clerk had returned to Yin Tian, card in hand.
The clerk’s expression was respectful, she didn’t even dare to look into Yin Tian’s eyes, "Sir, your card..."
"Believe it now?"
Yin Tian asked slowly and deliberately.
"I believe it..."
"Then why aren’t you hurrying to pack up the clothes I want?"
The clerk trembled, a look of wild joy in her eyes.
Yin Tian was buying so many clothes at once; just her commission would be substantial. The commission from this sale alone could probably match what she’d normally make in a year!
Thinking of this, she sped up her packing.
Meanwhile, Su Qinwei stood next to Yin Tian, her expression worried, "Yin Tian, are we really buying all these clothes? There are so many..."
"Don’t worry, just watch."
Yin Tian smiled mysteriously at Su Qinwei.
Su Qinwei was taken aback, unsure of Yin Tian’s intentions.
Some time later, with the clerk sweating profusely, all the clothes had been packed, "Sir, all the clothes you requested are packed. The total is..."
The clerk was busy calculating nonstop, but Yin Tian waved his hand, "Forget it, suddenly I don’t want them anymore."
"What?"
The clerk was immediately stunned.
She stared at Yin Tian with a blank expression, her brain seizing up for a moment before realizing that Yin Tian was deliberately messing with her!
She took a deep breath, regarding Yin Tian, "Sir, this is not in accordance with our store’s policy. Since these clothes have been packed, you must buy them."
"What kind of policy is that? Money in exchange for goods, and only when the transaction is complete. But now, the transaction isn’t complete, and I don’t want them anymore. Why are you forcing me to buy? Isn’t this coercion?"
Yin Tian’s voice was dripping with mirth, "I can’t accept your store’s policy."
With these words, he planned to leave with Su Qinwei in tow.
But how could the clerk possibly agree to that?
"Stop, sir, please stop right there."
She rushed in front of Yin Tian and Su Qinwei, barring their way, "If you do this, how am I supposed to sell these clothes?"
"We haven’t touched or worn them; what’s not to sell?"
Yin Tian shrugged, "You can’t bully people like this."
Bully?
The clerk was really getting angry.
She was the one being bullied, wasn’t she?
Just then, someone walked in from outside.
Seeing this person, the clerk’s face lit up as if she had seen a savior, "Manager! Come here quickly!"
Upon hearing this, the manager came over.
The manager was a bald man, greasy to the core.
When he arrived, he didn’t forget to make a pass at the clerk before he slowly began to speak, "Zhao, what’s going on?"
The clerk hastily relayed what had just happened.
Upon hearing this, the manager’s face showed displeasure, "Sir, this is a bit against the rules, making my clerk pack up all the clothes and then saying you don’t want them. Do you think that’s acceptable?"
Yin Tian looked at the manager and countered, "So just because I don’t want to buy anymore, you insist on a forced sale?"
Speaking, Yin Tian, with his hands in his pockets, started to walk out of the store with Su Qinwei.
How could the manager let Yin Tian just walk away?
"Stop, you stay right there..."
The manager took a quick step and charged over, yanking hard on Yin Tian’s arm.
Yin Tian’s hand was pulled from his pocket, along with his card that fell to the ground.
"Hmph."
The manager snatched up Yin Tian’s fallen card, handing it nonchalantly to the nearby clerk, "Go swipe this for the gentleman."
"Don’t you think this is too much?"
"No."
The manager shook his head, a disdainful sneer on his face, "In my store, you follow my rules."
Speaking, he bent down to pick up another card that had fallen from Yin Tian’s pocket.
He was about to return the card to Yin Tian when he suddenly frowned, examining the card closely in his hand.
"Give it back to me. What are you standing there for?"
Yin Tian held out his hand.
However, the manager suddenly looked up, staring hard at Yin Tian, his eyes glittering with excitement, "Never thought I’d catch a big fish!"
Big fish?
Yin Tian was taken aback for a moment, not quite understanding what the manager meant.
"Kid, do you know what kind of card this is?"
The manager raised the card in his hand, shaking it at Yin Tian.
Yin Tian looked at the card the manager was holding.
After a while, Yin Tian realized.
This was the card that Qiao had given him, wasn’t it?
