Chapter 711 I Doubt It!_1

Yin Tian did not say much in response to the young man’s fiery temper.

After all, by virtue of his master’s relationship, he was respected as the Master within the Chi Family.

Especially since yesterday; Mr. Chi himself had said that he wanted Yin Tian to come here and take over as the Family Head of the Chi Family.

Even when Yin Tian mentioned that he did not understand military strategies, Mr. Chi said he just needed someone else for that—the rest would be managed by the Chi Family!

He could feel the sincerity in Mr. Chi’s words.

But still, he chose not to accept Mr. Chi’s offer.

Looking at the young man in front of him, he simply thought the young man was venting his frustration on him and did not take it to heart.

However, upon seeing Yin Tian’s silence, the young man took two more steps forward, approached Yin Tian, and said, "Can’t you hear me? Now, get out of the Chi Family immediately! Otherwise, I’ll cripple you!"

Yin Tian frowned.

Looking at the young man’s appearance, he did bear some resemblance to Chi Yuxian.

But how could Chi Yuxian have raised such a hot-tempered person?

"What? You still don’t want to comply?"

The young man’s mouth curled into a cold sneer.

He reached out his hand and grabbed toward Yin Tian’s shoulder.

Yin Tian, expressionless, sidestepped and executed an over-the-shoulder throw, hurling the young man away.

The young man lay on the ground for a few seconds before he realized what had happened.

Struggling to his feet, his face flushed with anger, he stared at Yin Tian, "You dare to raise a hand in my Chi Family!"

"I have no desire to overstep my bounds with your Chi Family. If you want to vent your anger, you’ve got the wrong person."

Yin Tian spoke indifferently.

"Hmph!"

The young man scoffed coldly and charged at Yin Tian again.

However, the result was no different.

Once again, he was thrown out by Chen Gu.

Having been thrown out twice in succession, the young man finally realized something was amiss.

He glared at Yin Tian coldly, then shouted loudly, "People, come!"

Before his words fell, a large group of people entered from outside.

"Seize him for me!"

He shouted loudly.

Yin Tian suddenly let out a chuckle.

"What are you laughing at?"

"I’m laughing at how, despite your young age, you know to call for help when you’re beaten," Yin Tian said with a grin to the young man. "Your demeanor now is worlds apart from your tough act earlier."

Yin Tian’s words clearly enraged the young man further, "Attack! What are you standing around for? Throw him out! From now on, if he dares to set foot in the Chi Family even half a step, shoot him on sight!"

"Stop!"

A loud shout came from upstairs.

Everyone looked up to see Mr. Chi, with a dark expression, walking down from upstairs.

He came directly in front of the young man and slapped him hard across the face.

Smack!

The crisp sound of the slap rang out.

The young man, holding his face, looked at Mr. Chi in disbelief.

While Mr. Chi turned to Yin Tian, knelt on one knee, and said, "Master, it’s my failure to discipline my son. Please punish me as you see fit!"

"Mr. Chi, why would I punish you?"

Yin Tian walked over, helped Mr. Chi to his feet, "It’s no big deal, we can just talk it out, no need for this."

Mr. Chi stood up, turned his head and gave the young man a cold glance, "Chi Feng, apologize to the Master immediately!"

"Apologize to him? Is he even worthy? Who does he think he is?"

The young man called Chi Feng shouted defiantly.

"You!"

Mr. Chi was livid and was about to hit Chi Feng again when he was stopped by Yin Tian, "Mr. Chi, please calm down. Let me first go upstairs to see the old master."

Upon hearing Yin Tian speak, Mr. Chi snorted, "I’ll deal with you later!"

He then looked at the others standing aimlessly inside the hall, "What are you waiting for? Get out!"

Upon hearing this command, they quickly left the place.

"Master, after you," Mr. Chi said respectfully to Yin Tian.

Yin Tian nodded and followed Mr. Chi upstairs.

Chi Feng followed with a face full of resentment, but he restrained himself out of respect for his father’s presence and clenched his teeth as he followed them.

The three of them arrived in front of a room.

The door of the room was wide open, and Yin Tian could clearly smell the scent of herbal medicine coming from inside.

On the bed, an old man was covered in all kinds of electronic devices that monitored his health constantly.

At the moment, the old man was staring wide-eyed, struggling to look towards the doorway.

"Dad, the Master is here," Mr. Chi said respectfully as he led Yin Tian forward.

The old man’s gaze immediately affixed onto Yin Tian, his parched lips quivering weakly as he spoke, "Master...I apologize...for not being able to rise and greet you properly..."

"Old master, there’s no need for this," Yin Tian quickly spoke up as he moved to the bedside, looked at the old man, and then looked at Mr. Chi, "How long has the old master been like this?"

"Over a year now. The head of the Qu Family said that my father might not survive till the end of the month," Mr. Chi replied, clearly disheartened.

Yet, Yin Tian shook his head.

"I think not."
