Chapter 34: Barbarian
At 10:30 a. m. on September 1st, Vernon's small car pulled into the parking lot of King's Cross Station.
As soon as the car came to a stop, Harry flung open the door and jumped out eagerly.
Dali, meanwhile, was much more composed, opening the car door calmly and stepping out.
"It's still early; we'll make it in time," Penny said.
"We still need to find Platform Nine and Three-Quarters; we have to get there early." Harry said, "Professor Dengbulido rushed off and forgot to tell us something this important."
"It's fine; although I've never been to this platform, I can roughly guess what such a special platform is like," Dali said.
The two pushed their luggage and hurried toward the platform.
Penny and Vernon followed behind, but deliberately kept some distance.
Harry's owl was simply too eye-catching for the people around, and seeing so many people, it kept nervously hooting, causing passersby to shoot doubtful glances.
"We're here; it should be right ahead."
Harry walked in front and soon saw the two platforms marked 9 and 10.
As they expected, there was no Platform Nine and Three-Quarters indicated on their tickets here.
"What should we do? Should we ask the guards here?" Harry asked anxiously.
"No need."
Dali said calmly.
His eyes twitched slightly as he activated Spiritual Sight.
Not far away, on the pillar between Platforms 10 and 9, a bright patch of light appeared, clearly showing the trace of magic.
Dali examined it closely and discovered a hidden passage there that one could go through.
"Just go straight through."
Dali deactivated Spiritual Sight and said to Harry.
"Ah?" Harry stared at the brick-and-stone pillar and swallowed.
"Won't we just crash into it?"
"No, our tickets are magical; as long as we hold them, we can pass through smoothly, and once we become true wizards, we won't even need the tickets to get through this platform." Dali speculated, combining what he had seen.
"Dad, Mom, do you want to come with us to have a look?" Dali asked, turning back.
"Okay."
Penny and Vernon exchanged a nervous glance.
They actually didn't want to come into contact with other wizards, but since their son was leaving home to go to school, they felt they should at least see him off at the station.
"Alright, take my hand, and we'll go in together."
Dali pushed his luggage with one hand and held Penny's hand with the other.
"Harry, follow us."
Dali didn't say more, heading straight for the pillar between Platforms 9 and 10.
Whoosh.
The next moment, Dali and the two others vanished right before Harry's eyes.
"How amazing."
Harry's eyes widened in Shock.
He had wanted to see how Dali got through, but instead the three disappeared instantly, and not a single passerby noticed what was happening here.
"Hurry up, don't be late; this place is of course packed with Muggles......"
A noisy voice came from behind; Harry glanced back and saw a short, plump woman talking to four red-haired boys.
"They seem to be wizards as well."
Harry didn't think twice, shoved his luggage forward, and charged straight at the pillar.
Whooo......
The train's whistle blared urgently, and when Harry opened his eyes again, he found himself before a train spewing thick, dark steam.
Not far away, Dali was looking in this direction; seeing Harry finally come in, he nodded.
"Wizards actually have trains? Shouldn't they be riding magic carpets or flying broomsticks?"
Vernon looked at the steam train before him and said.
He had thought the ticket merely let Dali and the others enter the platform, after which something like a magic carpet would appear, but he never expected there to actually be a train stopped here.
"Perhaps the Magic World is also keeping up with the times."
Dali shrugged and said.
"Let's first put our luggage away, then we'll come back to say goodbye later."
Having said that, Dali pushed his luggage and walked toward the train.
Harry followed closely behind.
"Oh, my son, he finally…… he really looks like a man now."
Penny looked at Dali's back, her eyes misty with tears.
"Yes, yes, but he chose to go to a magic school; otherwise, he should be studying at my alma mater right now."
"Of course, he's still great now; he will surely become an outstanding wizard."
Vernon's eyes also turned red.
After boarding the train, Dali and Harry walked down the corridor all the way to the back, finally finding an empty compartment at the end of the car.
Dali swiftly placed his luggage on the overhead rack, then put Harry's up as well.
"You're really strong now."
Harry watched Dali effortlessly lift the heavy luggage onto the rack and couldn't help but feel a bit envious as he said.
In the future, if you train your body a bit more, you can also do that.
Dali smiled.
His physical fitness is not something ordinary early-teen kids can match.
Extraordinary Ability inherently increases physique; moreover, the Judge pathway and the Black Emperor pathway both greatly enhance the body.
You should know, the Sequence Eight of the Black Emperor pathway is called Barbarian; physique greatly enhanced, also combat ability enhanced; this corresponds to when a lawyer cannot persuade others with Laws, they can use physical persuasion.
"Let's go, go down and say goodbye to them."
Dali said.
Harry hesitated a moment, but still followed up.
After a simple farewell, Harry first returned to the carriage, while Dali was held in Penny's arms, crying loudly.
At the moment before the train departed, Dali finally broke free from his mother's embrace and jumped onto the train that was slowly pulling out.
"Don't cry, Ginny, we'll send many owls to look for you."
"Alright, we'll give you a Hogwarts toilet seat."
"George!!!"
"Just joking, Mom."
Beside Dali, a pair of twin brothers were saying goodbye to their mother and sister, but the originally sentimental moment was completely shattered by their antics.
Dali also couldn't help but smile, thinking these two brothers are really interesting.
Dali walked along the corridor toward the rear of the train.
Upon arriving at the compartment, Dali discovered that the compartment originally only Harry's now had an additional red-haired boy.
"Hello."
Dali took the initiative to greet.
"Oh, hello. I'm Luoen, Luoen Weasley."
Luoen took the initiative to introduce himself.
Dali sat beside Harry.
"My name is Dali, Dali De Si Li. Harry Potter's cousin."
Dali smiled and said.
