Chapter 39: Spell
"That's amazing, can you teach me?"
Luoen asked eagerly.
Just now, Dali was incredibly handsome, his moves decisive and fierce, giving Ke La Bu and Gao Er no chance to retaliate, so these two big guys hardly had a chance to use their size advantage before being knocked to the ground.
Compared to their huge builds, in terms of fighting power they were even inferior to Harry.
"You also want to learn physics persuasion?" Dali laughed.
"Hmm, otherwise what would we do if we got bullied at school?" Luoen said.
He can't always count on Dali being present; this time he offended Ma Er Fu, and that guy will surely cause them trouble later.
"But you're a wizard, after all." Dali reminded him friendly.
"Ah... oh." Luoen looked at his somewhat damaged wand, his face slightly red, "Oh right, I almost forgot."
Fights between wizards rarely involve hand-to-hand combat; only newcomers like them would see such a situation, otherwise spells are usually much faster than fists.
"School probably doesn't allow us to fight using spells, right?" Harry said.
"Indeed, normally students are prohibited from dueling with wands. But school rules sometimes have loopholes; my brother told me they sometimes chant spells at each other." Luoen said.
Harry chatted while fiddling with his broken glasses.
Ma Er Fu's punch sent his glasses flying, they fell to the ground, causing the lenses to crack directly and the frame to become somewhat twisted.
"My glasses are broken; I don't know if Hogwarts has a place to fix them."
Harry said.
"Probably not, but I know there's a spell that can fix things; I'll look for..."
Before Luoen finished speaking, Dali took out his wand and pointed it at Harry's glasses in his hand.
"Repair as before."
Swish.
Harry's glasses in his hand instantly returned to perfect condition, even better than before.
"My goodness, you even know the repair spell?"
Luoen was astonished.
"This spell isn't hard; I've tried it a few times and succeeded each time."
Dali put away his wand and said.
This spell can be learned by first-year newcomers; for students with better comprehension, self-study may not be difficult either; mainly it depends on what is being repaired, which determines the difficulty.
Repairing a broken pair of glasses doesn't require high magical skill.
"You actually self-taught yourself spells?"
Harry put on the repaired glasses and said in shock.
He knew Dali was researching spells, but he didn't expect Dali to have already mastered them in such a short time.
Compared to Dali, he now, aside from having some understanding of the Magic World, knows practically nothing about spells.
"It's not that hard; once we get to school, I can teach you."
Dali said casually.
For him, this level of spell is indeed not difficult; he just needs to grasp spiritual power well, and it can be easily accomplished.
The sky outside had darkened, and the vehicle's speed had also decreased.
The three of them had changed into wizard robes.
"In five minutes the train will arrive at Hogwarts; please leave your luggage on the train, we'll send it to the school for you."
A voice echoed on the train, unknown where it came from.
Harry and Luoen's faces were somewhat pale; it was clear they were both nervous.
Dali's face hardly changed, at most a bit curious; having seen many big scenes, he merely had some anticipation for this magic school.
The train finally came to a stop; the three walked out of the carriage onto the outside corridor.
At that time, the corridor was already packed with students waiting to disembark; many, upon hearing the voice, turned back to look at the rear of the carriage.
Dali noticed that several people even gave them a thumbs-up in their direction.
Luoen's twin brother went further, raising both thumbs, just short of shouting 'awesome'.
Harry, Luoen, and Dali finally got off last; outside it was pitch black night, a cold wind hit them, making Harry and Luoen involuntarily shiver.
"First-year newcomers! First-year newcomers, come this way!"
A familiar voice echoed in the night; his huge stature stood not far away, holding a lamp, standing there like a lighthouse, pointing the way for first-year newcomers.
"Harry, Dali, come over here, how was your summer?"
Hagrid noticed Harry and Dali and waved enthusiastically.
First-year newcomers began walking toward Hagrid, while students of other years headed off in another direction; many, upon hearing the two words 'Harry', looked toward the newcomers and whispered about something.
"You guys wait for me!"
From the crowd came a vicious voice.
Harry, Luoen, and Dali followed the sound and saw Ma Er Fu's trio standing not far away, their faces grim.
Ma Er Fu's facial injury had healed, though there was still a slight mark; Ke La Bu and Gao Er showed no obvious condition, but from their awkward stances it was clear they were still in pain.
"What, you want to go again?"
Dali smiled and waved his fist.
"Ah..."
Ma Er Fu cried out in surprise, stepping back several paces.
Only then did he realize Dali was over ten meters away; such a distance posed no threat to him.
"You guys wait for me; I've already told my father, you just wait to be expelled!"
Ma Er Fu clenched his fists, wishing he could rush over and beat Dali up right now, but he didn't dare.
This guy's combat strength is just too strong; the three of them are no match for Dali, so at times like this he doesn't dare to show off anymore.
"Hehe."
Dali gave a cold snort, turned his head and stopped paying attention to that guy.
He's just a typical spoiled rich kid; if he wants to deal with that guy, he has plenty of ways.
"Come with me, everyone come with me."
Hagrid didn't have time to ask Harry what had happened at this point, leading a crowd of newcomers up a narrow, steep path.
The surroundings were a pitch-black forest, everyone was tense, and no one spoke anymore.
"Round that bend, and you'll be able to see Hogwarts."
Hagrid said in the darkness.
Soon, everyone turned the bend, a vast lake appeared before them, and on the mountain slope not far from the lake, a towering castle stood high.
The castle's towers rose densely, light spilling from countless windows glittered like stars, the whole castle reflected in the black water, giving a sense of indescribable grandeur, while also appearing extremely mysterious.
