Chapter 5: Spiritual Sight
Seeing his parents approve his suggestion, Dali winked at Harry to show friendliness.
Yet all this fell into Harry's eyes as if it were a deliberate provocation.
"Dammit, he must be planning to set me up at the zoo."
Harry thought to himself.
But he could not refuse to go to the zoo, because now he simply had no right to refuse and could only be manipulated.
"I can only stay as far away from him as possible."
"The zoo is so big; as long as I don't appear in front of him, it should be fine."
"Besides, the zoo should really be fun."
Harry comforted himself in his heart, also looking forward to the pleasant times at the zoo.
These years of experience have given him some ways to deal with Dali's bullying, and moreover he can always, when needed, do things even he cannot understand.
The last time, he was chased and beaten by Dali and his friends, then he inexplicably appeared on the school chimney, evading the mob assault; although he was inevitably dealt with afterward, it was no worse than before.
Thinking of this, Harry began to silently observe Dali standing not far away.
The cousin who always bullied him seemed absent‑minded, sitting on the sofa, not watching TV, not speaking, as if pondering something.
"Could he be thinking about how to bully me?"
Harry muttered a silent insult.
In fact, Dali's mind was indeed elsewhere, contemplating matters of the Extraordinary One.
After becoming an Extraordinary One again, his grasp of spiritual power had not declined much, meaning that now he found using the abilities of a Sequence 9 Lawyer and a Sequence Nine Arbiter no difficulty.
The only thing to consider was the digestion of the Extraordinary Trait.
Indeed, although these Extraordinary Traits originated from Dali's own body, after re‑housing them he must digest and absorb them again, essentially equivalent to taking another Magic Pill.
If his conjecture is correct, then after fully digesting these Extraordinary Traits, a Sequence 8 Extraordinary Trait will reappear, allowing him to continue on the path to godhood.
As for how far he can go, Dali does not know.
"In that Guiyi Shijie, what Sequence did I ultimately reach?"
Dali frowned.
He does not recall exactly which Sequence he reached in that world, only that it was a High Sequence; trying to recall further, his memory is a chaos.
"In short, the highest Sequence I can attain in this world should be the same as the highest Sequence I could attain in that Guiyi Shijie, because my body only contains Extraordinary Traits up to that level," Dali thought.
Retracting his thoughts, Dali looked at his younger cousin, who seemed to be watching him cautiously from not far away.
Dali narrowed his eyes slightly.
This was his action to activate Spiritual Sight.
With the completion of the action, Harry in Dali's sight showed some changes.
Strange halos appeared in his view, the etheric aura visible under Spiritual Sight.
Different colors and brightness represent different auras, allowing judgment of a person's health and emotional state.
"His health seems fine aside from being a bit frail, but his aura is grayish, his emotions don't seem good, and he's rather nervous…"
Dali glanced once and roughly judged Harry's condition.
However, that's all; Dali has only just become an Extraordinary One, his spiritual power is limited, and he cannot see deeper layers.
"Huh…"
Suddenly, Dali's brows twitched slightly.
He seemed to see something indescribable in Harry's deeper stellar spirit body.
Only that thing was hidden deep, beyond his sight range.
"What is that… spiritual power?"
Dali frowned.
He wasn't sure what those things were, only feeling that it seemed a peculiar energy.
However, he was certain that Harry was not an Extraordinary One.
In this world, aside from him possessing Extraordinary Traits, others should have none, let alone spiritual power.
Dali felt a slight throbbing at his forehead, a sign of over‑consumption of spiritual power.
He immediately narrowed his eyes and shut off Spiritual Sight.
"Strange, my little cousin seems not simple."
Dali was thoughtful.
He recalled some childhood incidents; a few times when he bullied Harry, Harry did things then incomprehensible to him, which seemed beyond an ordinary person.
Ding‑dong…
At that moment, the doorbell rang.
"Oh, they must have arrived."
Penny said anxiously, hurrying toward the doorway.
Soon, voices came from the doorway, and after a while a skinny boy and a middle‑aged woman entered.
"Happy Birthday, Dali!"
The boy shouted.
He is Dali's best friend Pi Er·Bo Qi Si.
Or rather, Dali's best accomplice when bullying Harry.
"Thanks."
Dali looked at Pi Er, recalling some past events.
Pi Er naturally walked toward Dali, glancing at the punished Harry, and a mischievous grin immediately appeared on his face.
He had already figured out how to help Dali deal with this guy; this was one of their biggest joys when playing together—chasing and beating Harry!
However, before he could reach Dali's side, he suddenly Belief his whole body felt ill at ease, as if being stared at by some Important Figure, a feeling that was hard to describe.
Dali, you……
Pi'er looked at Dali before him, this playmate of theirs, today seemed somewhat different.
From now on, no bullying Harry. Dali said.
"Ah?"
Pi'er was stunned, somewhat Shock at how Dali had become.
However, he immediately nodded.
He felt that Dali was not joking with him, but rather issuing a command, leaving him no choice but to obey.
Others also Lack notice of the situation here, only Harry noticed, Pi'er's face was somewhat pale, he stood cautiously beside Dali, not even daring to sit down.
Half an hour later.
Dali's family, together with Pi'er and others, arrived at the zoo.
Today, the zoo was especially crowded.
Vernon went to buy tickets, leaving the others waiting at the zoo's Doorway.
Harry hid far away, afraid that Dali would notice him.
Pi'er stood beside his mother, also Lack too close to Dali.
Dali looked around while walking to the side, leisurely viewing this normal world, almost letting out a friendly sigh.
Ah, the zoo, so many people……
Suddenly, a woman appeared out of nowhere beside Dali, her face covered in paint, asking in a low, hoarse voice, "Little friend, want to tell your fortune?"
