Chapter 25
Murphy returned to the old Durkheim Manor and found Alex.
"It's not safe here anymore, hurry up and pack your things, pack up all the potions made and the remaining materials and take them away."
After speaking, Murphy came to the basement, opened a cabinet, carefully placed the dozen or so bottles of potion into a small box, and put it into his Undetectable Extension Charm bag.
Alex had already packed up and was somewhat panicked, "Those people, will they find this place?"
"Hmm, is everything packed?"
"Packed."
"Didn't miss anything, right?"
"No."
"Good."
After Murphy finished speaking, he drew his wand and aimed it at the old Durkheim Manor, "Pestisincendium!"
Majestic flames sprayed out from Murphy's wand, and as he drew a circle above his head with the wand, they rolled up, forming a violent fire tornado above the old house.
The speed of the tornado became faster and faster, and the temperature of the flames became higher and higher, the rolling heat wave making Alex keep retreating.
"This, this is Fiendfyre?!" he was stunned.
This is dark magic!
This kind of magical flame would be burned to ashes if it touched a little bit of the body, and ordinary methods couldn't extinguish it at all, it could be called terrifying to the extreme!
Who exactly is this Mr. Peter Parker he serves, how could he know such profound dark magic?
And what is he going to do, this should be his own home, right?
Alex had seen several portraits in the corridor on the second floor; although they had all been destroyed and couldn't move, the appearance of the people in the paintings looked very much like Mr. Peter Parker.
But before he could figure it out, Murphy's wand pressed down.
"Boom!"
The old Durkheim Manor was crushed directly by the tornado and instantly ignited, and those violent flames seemed to have found food and attached themselves to it, instantly turning the old house into a huge torch.
Since Lucius already knew his true identity, it was easy for him to find this place.
He had done many potion experiments here, and the house also left too many traces of him; to avoid missing any clues and being caught, it was safer to burn it down.
Anyway, he had nothing to be nostalgic about here.
"Let's go."
Murphy didn't explain much, grabbed Alex and directly Apparated.
They appeared in a warehouse.
"You stay here, I'm going to handle some things."
Murphy inserted several old wands into his waist, drank a bottle of Polyjuice Potion, and after a while, turned into a black uncle.
Just as he was about to leave, he thought about it again and threw an Undetectable Extension Charm bag to Alex, "If I haven't returned within two hours, take these Galleons and leave, go to Scotland or France and hide for a few years."
Murphy's words made Alex nervous again, "Mr. Parker, what are you going to do?"
"Save people," Murphy said lightly, "If possible, kill a few too."
After speaking, he disappeared from Alex's sight.
Murphy was riding on a flying broomstick, patrolling in a wilderness.
Although there were many points to complain about, as a private aircraft, the flying broomstick was still very useful in many aspects.
For example, searching for a house in the wilderness.
At this time, he had roughly figured out Lucius's purpose.
Being able to find the factory showed that Lucius had already linked him to the Umbrella Corporation and discovered the fact that he sold potions to Muggles.
It had to be said that in this point, Murphy had underestimated the intelligence of wizards too much and was too careless.
It was easy to understand attacking the factory, nothing more than retaliation.
But grabbing the factory workers and taking away materials and finished potions was a bit strange.
Essence of Dittany is an incredible miracle drug to Muggles, so pharmaceutical companies have the motive to kidnap workers and take samples to seize the formula, which was also the reason why Patrick thought this attack was done by pharmaceutical companies.
But to wizards, the formula for Essence of Dittany is clearly written in textbooks, they have no reason to do so for the formula.
Thinking from Lucius's perspective, when he learned that Murphy's potions were sold to Muggles, he would understand that the thing Murphy feared most was this matter being known by the wizarding world, and to sit on the fact that Murphy violated the Wizarding Secrecy Act, he needed evidence.
As long as there was evidence that Murphy sold potions to Muggles, by then, whether it was to blackmail him for cooperation or directly throw him into Azkaban, it would be easy.
Getting evidence was the reason they kidnapped the workers.
To get solid evidence, they needed to interrogate those workers, and also needed to figure out those sample potions.
Perhaps, Lucius also wanted to learn and borrow Murphy's method, figure out Murphy's operation process, and after throwing him into Azkaban, take over the business and make a fortune in silence.
Therefore, Murphy guessed that they probably didn't hand over those workers and samples to the Aurors, and now they were very likely still at Malfoy Manor.
From the head of the bald wizard Paped before, Murphy had obtained the approximate location of the Malfoy family, somewhere in the outskirts of Chippenham town in Wiltshire.
But because it was far from the Muggle community, there were no specific Muggle roads and streets connected to it, so he had to find it himself.
After searching for half an hour, just when Murphy thought Malfoy had used the Fidelius Charm on his own house to hide it, he suddenly saw a woodland.
However, the next second, that woodland disappeared from his field of vision again.
He frowned, flew back a few meters, and the woodland suddenly appeared at the edge of his vision again.
He tested for a long time and understood; in front of him, there were two invisible barriers, they converged here, forming an angle, and just now, he had passed through the inside of that angle, so he discovered the existence of the woodland.
"Finally found you."
Murphy used a Disillusionment Charm on himself and quietly flew close to the woodland.
Sure enough, he soon saw a manor surrounded by the center of the woodland.
He landed quietly behind the manor mansion, used Muffliato to eliminate his sound, and then opened a window with an unlocking spell and climbed into the mansion.
He didn't need to look hard; as soon as he entered, Murphy heard a scream, "Ah, no, please, I really don't know..."
And another woman's voice, "We really don't know anyone named Durkheim, our boss is Patrick, and there is another big boss named Morpheus, Morpheus Anon, please, don't kill me..."
Then a fierce man's roar, "Speak, you Muggle, you don't have wands, how did you formulate Essence of Dittany! Speak, or I'll kill you!"
"Di, Dittany? We don't have... we produce Whi, White Medicine... we use machines, distillation, extraction... please, I'm just an ordinary worker, I only know how to operate those machines, look at the gauges or something, I don't understand chemistry..."
Murphy leaned over to look; in the hall in the center of the corridor, all five workers were there, and three wizards were interrogating them.
He was just about to save people, but heard a woman's dissatisfied voice from a room next door, "Lucius, you shouldn't let those 'friends' of yours come to the house! And let them torture those Muggles in front of Draco! Draco was scared to death!"
"Mother, I wasn't scared!" a little boy's voice retorted unconvinced.
"Fear is normal, Draco, you are still a child," the woman's voice comforted, then said again: "You should be more cautious, Lucius, it's not the past anymore..."
There were five adult wizards here; even without counting Narcissa, there were four enemies; Lucius had been a Death Eater, his combat strength might not be as cowardly as his personality, and the other three guys were also ruthless dark wizards; Murphy didn't have the confidence to take on four.
Must be more cautious, perhaps take young Malfoy hostage?
He was turning these thoughts in his mind when suddenly a voice came from behind him, "Sir, who are you? You are not a guest invited by the master."
Murphy turned his head in shock, only to see a big-eyed cute thing looking at him suspiciously.
