Chapter 350: The Match

~6 min read 1,092 words

In the quiet corridor.

Sir Cadogan was looking for someone to duel everywhere, and the monk on the side skillfully avoided him.

Following the sound of leather boots stepping on the ground, a tall witch found the front of the portrait, her expression carrying a trace of anger:

"Perhaps your name of being upright and loyal is not always accurate?"

"Don't be anxious, Madam,"

Sir Cadogan performed a hat-tipping salute, then looked at a huge owl flying into the night outside the window,

"A knight never lies."

Early the next morning, the weather was clear and cold. The restaurant was filled with the tempting aroma of roasted sausages, and everyone was looking forward to an exciting Quidditch match, chatting happily without stopping.

"Hufflepuff is nothing to fear."

Michael said excitedly.

Then he saw Jia Siting sitting not far away at the long table looking slightly confused.

"Oh, pretend I didn't say that."

Michael quickly buried his head in the pudding.

"Are you going to watch the match? Sean?"

Jia Siting took this opportunity to ask.

Sean saw the gazes of everyone in the Hope Hut cast over.

They had been acting together for a long time, with Sean being the only exception.

Sean was always shuttling between various professors; he heard that he even went to an Alchemy class last week.

Merlin—that was a sixth-year course.

So everyone always felt that something was missing.

"Hmm."

Unexpectedly, this time Sean nodded.

"That's great—"

Jia Siting whispered, and then the owl sent a letter again, covering the excitement about the match in a sound of flapping wings.

Watching everyone discussing enthusiastically, Sean felt the significance of Quidditch to the little wizards.

It was a bond, pulling some beautiful memories shared together.

The Great Hall became empty in no time, and the little wizards almost all rushed to the Quidditch pitch.

The professor's table was also full of people—Headmaster Dumbledore, Professor Sineipu, Professor Marcus Maige, and Hagrid.

Sean and the others gathered together; Harry and Luo En were discussing tactics, saying they wanted to analyze the shortcomings of the other two opponents through this match;

Hermione sighed helplessly, and Harry and Luo En remembered that Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were right here.

Luo En patted his head and lowered his head:

"We are very sorry..."

"Sorry for what? Shouldn't have discussed it to your face?"

Jia Siting rarely cracked a joke.

"Yes—oh oh! No—"

Luo En found that no matter how he said it, it was wrong.

No matter whether he answered "yes" or "no," it didn't sound like a good word.

"Fool."

Hermione silently pulled away from Luo En and Harry.

Two fools who were well-developed in limbs but looked simple in mind.

"Sean, what do you think—what about Sean?

Jia Siting asked subconsciously, only to find that Sean had disappeared,

"Oh... alright, I think I understand."

He then muttered to himself.

At this time, the Ravenclaw changing room.

Sean thought, watching the match from the match field, it was also watching the match, right?

"I knew you would come! Prefect Penelope won't have to swallow me alive now—"

Luo Jie grabbed Sean's hand and shook it non-stop.

"Senior Luo Jie, you can retire from the Seeker position—let our strongest newcomer take over!"

"I'd be happy to—come on, Mr. Green—"

Luo Jie was the captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team; he was a seventh-year wizard, and this was his last year fighting for Ravenclaw; he dreamed of leaving a Seeker seed for Ravenclaw.

In the past, he had excavated Cho Chang and Roger Davies, but now, there was probably a better choice.

"Gryffindor is always boasting that they have the best team, but guys, do you know?

In my heart, you are the best team! Let them know, an eagle should always soar in a higher sky!"

And so the Ravenclaws burst into cheers.

There was no wind on the Quidditch pitch at this time, and the sky was a uniform pearl white, which meant that visibility was better, but the sun wouldn't be dazzling.

Lee Jordan was explaining passionately, and beside him was Professor Marcus Maige:

"We see the final lineup just finalized by Ravenclaw,"

He looked at a piece of parchment and said,

"Last year's Beater left, but Luo Jie seems to have found two good Ravenclaws; it is rumored that they flew quite well when they were substitutes in the past.

But Luo Jie stepped down; in his final school year, he gave the opportunity to a newcomer—this is rare—Merlin!"

He suddenly shouted.

"Jordan!"

Professor Marcus Maige shouted.

"Sorry, Professor. In fact, I couldn't imagine it would be this name.

Oh—let's see—Ravenclaw's new Seeker, the only one who has obtained flight permission in many years, passed the flight test with full marks, the writer of Green's notes, oh, I think this is the most important—anyway, Ravenclaw's new Seeker is—Mr. Sean Green!"

"You mean—"

Professor Marcus Maige stood up instantly.

"Professor."

Jordan found this scene familiar, as if it had just happened.

Ravenclaw changing room.

The team members stood up, carried their broomsticks, lined up out of the changing room, and came into the dazzling sky.

They were welcomed with thunderous applause; Sean could still hear singing, although it was covered by cheers and whistles.

"God! Sean!"

In the stands, Hermione and Jia Siting were busy doing something on a flag.

"Luo En, hurry!"

"I'm already trying!"

Luo En transformed a scarf into a large flag, which had already reached the limit of his Transfiguration.

Three minutes later.

A huge flag, which had been cast with a color-changing spell, sometimes Sean's big head, sometimes the words "Must Win," stood up.

Sean didn't like Quidditch very much, but watching Hermione, Jia Siting, and others happily making flags and waving at him; Professor Marcus Maige nodding at him with an incredibly joyful and relieved look, and even secretly raising her fist, his feelings for Hogwarts became deeper.

The only thing not so good was that on the other side of the stands, Professor Sineipu's eyes were terribly gloomy:

"A stupid sport held by fools with well-developed limbs... don't let me know who lured a... destined potion master, heh—"

His low pressure radiated to a circle of little wizards around him, and the Slytherins retreated a few meters away very sensibly.

Only Headmaster Dumbledore, he blinked his azure eyes and even leaned over:

"I have to say, he is quite like Minerva, isn't he..."

Professor Sineipu scanned Dumbledore fiercely, and the headmaster with a long white beard stopped speaking with a smile. ===== CHAPTER 351 =====
