Chapter 795

Xing: "So, back then, the Yin Yue Jun of that time, in order to save the dead Bai Heng, used the Vidyadhara's secret reincarnation art, wanting to resurrect her."

Xing: "But the result was that a monster was resurrected, which caused a great commotion on Luofu."

Xing: "In the end, the former Sword Champion Jing Liu personally slew this monster, and seemingly was also traumatized, falling into a Mara-Struck body."

Xing: "Yin Yue Jun, because of this incident, committed a grave error, and was sentenced by the Xianzhou Alliance to the heavy punishment of shedding scales and reincarnating."

Xing: "Taking this incident as the fuse, the former Five Chariots of the Cloud swiftly fell apart."

Xing: "Now, among those still remaining in the Xianzhou Alliance, only General Jing Yuan is left."

Seele: "Goodness, this is so melodramatic?"

Seele: "Five once-legendary figures, reduced to such a tragic state — what a pity."

Jing Yuan: "Sigh... fate sometimes toys with people like this."

Jing Yuan: "And as humans, we can only silently bear it."

March 7th: "General Jing Yuan must have carried a lot over these years, right?"

March 7th: "It must have been really hard..."

Paimon: "This is too sad — all five were legendary pillars of the Xianzhou Alliance."

Paimon: "But why did it have to end up like this?"

Robin: "Two were captured as wanted criminals, one was forcibly reincarnated and then exiled, one died..."

Robin: "Only General Jing Yuan remained in his position, having no choice but to hold up the greater situation of Luofu."

Robin: "The ending of the Five Chariots of the Cloud is truly rather tragic, and lamentable."

The video continues.

【The Marshal borrowing the matter of Hu Lei's transfer to Luofu both temporarily quelled the evil intentions of the Yaoqing Foxfolk, and served as a warning to the Luofu Xianzhou that had gone through the turmoil.】

【This is weighing the balance, and a step that had to be taken.】

【The Xianzhoulian Alliance is not a one-party autocracy belonging only to the Xianzhou people.】

【Only with the Foxfolk, the Vidyadhara, and the Xianzhou people as a three-race alliance can there be a future.】

Jing Yuan continued to explain.

【Lingsha has learned her lesson.】

【Back then, did you also weigh the balance with this mindset regarding my master, exiling her to the Zhuming Xianzhou, only to sit and watch the Abundance's servants rise from the ashes there?】

Lingsha, taking advantage of this topic,

once again brought up the matter of Jing Yuan exiling her own master back then.

【You say I couldn't bear to cut away the rotting flesh to cure the poison of the Alchemy Commission, and instead sent the physician who wanted to heal to the Zhuming Xianzhou...】

【Then did your master ever tell you...】

【That for the sake of her own self-righteous good intentions, taking advantage of the convenience of a visit, she performed a medical art on Brother Dan Heng, who had only just completed his rebirth at the time, that could recall the knowledge of his past life?】

Brother Dan Heng: "What?!"

Brother Dan Heng: "Jing Yuan, is what you said true?!"

Lingsha: "My master, she...!"

Lingsha: "She actually did something like this?"

Jing Yuan: "Sigh... every word I said in the video is true."

Jing Yuan: "It seems Miss Lingsha was unaware of the inside story behind all this."

Xing: "Wasn't it said that Brother Dan Heng retained part of his past-life memories only because the Scale-Shedding Art was performed incompletely?"

Xing: "I didn't expect it was actually because someone tampered with it?"

Xing: "And that person was Miss Lingsha's master?"

March 7th: "No wonder she was exiled by General Jing Yuan."

March 7th: "This already violates the rules, doesn't it?"

Paimon: "It's because of a momentary good intention again..."

Paimon: "Why does Paimon suddenly feel... that acting on good intentions might not be a good thing?"

Paimon: "In the end, it might end up doing harm with good intentions."

Dr. Ratio: "In my view, rather than calling this a good intention, it's better to call it an alternative form of selfish desire."

Dr. Ratio: "The person who did this was too self-assured — she only analyzed the problem from her own perspective."

Furina: "Miss Lingsha's master did this — could it be that she wanted Mr. Brother Dan Heng to continue serving as the Vidyadhara's Long Zun?"

Lingsha: "I'm afraid... my master... did harbor such thoughts..."

Lingsha: "Sigh, I always thought my master was a wise person, but I never expected she also did such a foolish thing."

Lingsha: "Thinking of it this way, all along, I have misunderstood General Jing Yuan."

Lingsha: "For this, I must apologize to the General."

Jing Yuan: "No need to apologize — as long as it can dispel the grudge in Miss Lingsha's heart, that puts my mind at ease."

Lingsha: "I also want to thank the General."

Lingsha: "After all, if it weren't for the General ordering my teacher's exile back then, such a crime might have caused my teacher to... fall beyond redemption."

The video continues.

【What did you say?!】

Hearing Jing Yuan's words,

Lingsha and Brother Dan Heng spoke in unison, both utterly shocked.

【She believed that once the Long Zun recovered his past-life sanity, he could then restore the Vidyadhara's duty of guarding the Ambrosial Arbor, make the restless forces lie low, and also settle all the disputes within the clan and return things to the right track.】

【But as I just said: many deeds that benefit others in good faith are merely the beginning of disaster.】

【Since then, the Six Arbiter Council decided that the Alchemy Commission would no longer have the position of Cauldron Master, until you came today.】

General Jing Yuan fulfilled his promise and answered the question Miss Lingsha had long carried.

【If that's the case, this concubine must thank the General for protecting her teacher with a single sheet of exile order.】

Miss Lingsha understood at this moment,

that General Jing Yuan's decision back then,

had actually been to protect his own teacher.

Hearing Yanqing: "That's great, the misunderstanding is cleared up — now Miss Lingsha the Cauldron Master can bury the hatchet with the General."

Hearing Yanqing: "I said there had to be a misunderstanding in all this!"

Miss Yunli: "Eh, wait a moment — what Miss Lingsha Cauldron Master?"

Miss Yunli: "Sister Lingsha hasn't been transferred to Luo Fu yet!"

Stelle: "From the video, isn't that just a matter of time?"

Miss Lingsha: "Mm, this concubine has actually already received the Alliance's appointment, but there's still some time before she takes up the post."

General Jing Yuan: "Heh heh, then Luo Fu shall await the arrival of Young Lady Lingsha, our new Cauldron Master."
