Chapter 74: Liu Tianxian

~7 min read 1,302 words

"Alright, I'll take you to the airport."

Fang Hong pulled Yu Xian's arm toward the exit, then said, "Wang Ran, you come too. The meeting's over—go back and prepare."

The meeting ended, and everyone filed out in sequence!

They waved to each other, said they'd see each other in a few days, and then dispersed.

Wang Ran followed beside them as Fang Hong draped an arm around Yu Xian and pushed open the screenwriter's room door: "General Manager Chen, let's go to the airport—I'll drive you."

"Oh? Rare to ride in Boss Fang's car."

Chen Zhixi teased, as this man had always ridden in her car before.

Wang Ran entered the office and doted on his girlfriend Bao Jinjin—they were about to be apart, after all.

"That's nonsense—my car is your car, your car is my car, why be so divided?" Fang Hong said.

He didn't own a car anyway—that was Liu Tianxian's car.

"So generous all of a sudden?" Chen Zhixi laughed.

"I've always been generous—just never had one before. If I had one, who'd be stingy?" Fang Hong spoke sense.

Yu Xian frowned: "You bought a car?"

Fang Hong smiled but said nothing—neither confirmed nor denied.

The three walked out chatting and laughing, but Wang Ran lagged behind—those two still clung to each other.

"Let's go!" Fang Hong called from outside.

Hearing the urging, Wang Ran released his girlfriend's hand: "Bao Bao, I'm leaving."

"Mm!"

Bao Jinjin's reply sounded like it came from her throat—deeply reluctant.

This separation meant not seeing each other for one or two months—he already missed her.

Wang Ran waved gently, stepping back slowly.

Bao Jinjin waved too, her expression heartbreakingly reluctant, like a wife seeing off her husband to war—moved, tears welling in her eyes.

Seeing this, Wang Ran's heart ached—he rushed forward and hugged her: "Baby, don't cry for me."

"Take care of yourself out there," Bao Jinjin whispered gently.

"Holy shit!" Fang Hong couldn't help but pinch the bridge of his nose.

Chen Zhixie stared, speechless—how was this any different from a farewell before death?

But Yu Xian watched with envy—when would he ever have a girlfriend?

"Let's go, have some pity on the single dog," Fang Hong urged.

When would he ever get to do this with Liu Tianxian?

Wang Ran parted from his girlfriend, stepped to the doorway, and blew her a kiss.

Bao Jinjin returned the kiss.

"Enough already, forget him," Fang Hong couldn't take it anymore.

The three headed for the door; seeing them actually leave, Wang Ran sprinted to catch up.

"Wow, you two are so gross!" Jiao Huajing couldn't take it either.

Bao Jinjin didn't reply—she tilted her head, eyes sparkling with happiness.

On the other side, Wang Ran caught up with the three: "Should we grab a meal before the flight? I heard airplane food is awful."

"I won't eat—I'm already full," Chen Zhixi said.

"Same," Yu Xian said.

Wang Ran frowned: "You already ate?"

"We just ate dog food!" Chen Zhixi said.

At that, Wang Ran fell silent immediately—he couldn't argue; he'd become the enemy!

Down in the garage, the four reached the car. Yu Xian saw the Porsche and murmured: "Wow, what a beautiful car!"

He reached for the door handle of Chen Zhixi's car.

He recognized this car—he'd ridden in it before!

But Fang Hong pulled him back and pointed: "This one."

"What?!" Yu Xian was stunned.

Fang Hong said nothing, pulled out his key fob, and pressed it—the Porsche beeped twice in response.

"Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!"

Yu Xian was dumbfounded: "You bought this car?!"

Fang Hong smiled again—said nothing.

"Holy shit, how come you didn't tell me you bought a car!" Yu Xian couldn't help but run his hand over the car's surface—the feel was amazing.

Wang Ran was equally envious—he wanted a car like this with his girlfriend too.

Only Chen Zhixi remained calm.

"Alright, get in—it's just a car, nothing special," Fang Hong said dismissively.

"No way, this car's too beautiful—I'm taking a photo with it and posting it to my class group."

Yu Xian pulled out his phone, stood beside the car, and took a close-up selfie with it.

Even though this phone wasn't smart, it could still take photos—and they were quite clear.

He even pulled Wang Ran and Chen Zhixi into the photo—left Fang Hong out—he was too full of himself, not worth playing with.

The three posed with a "V" sign beside the car!

In the car, Chen Zhixi sat in front, the two men sat in back, Fang Hong drove.

Yu Xian kept touching here and there, as if everything was brand new.

The main thing is that the car's interior is luxurious!

"Luxury cars are awesome—there's even a faint fragrance, so nice, just like Liu Tianxian's scent," Yu Xian said.

Fang Hong stayed silent. Dog nose? He can even tell that apart.

Chen Zhixi asked curiously: "How do you know this scent is the same as Liu Tianxian's?"

"On set, she walked ahead, and I sniffed behind her," Yu Xian said.

That move was so creepy; Chen Zhixi didn't know what to say, so she said: "You should find a girlfriend!"

"I want to! No one wants me!"

Yu Xian sounded genuinely melancholy.

Didn't he want a girlfriend too? Who understands how lonely nights are?

"You can't just find a girlfriend on demand. You like someone, but they might not like you. If there were someone who truly cared for you, wouldn't anyone want to give them the best? Right, Lao Yu?" Fang Hong sounded like he was talking about himself.

"Exactly!"

Fang Hong's words struck right at Yu Xian's heart—his brother understood him. He said: "I like them, but they don't like me."

He couldn't even get a chance to be a lapdog; it was pitiful. Chen Zhixi fell silent.

Wang Ran was also quiet—he wasn't single, so saying more would hurt him.

The group chatted casually, and the car soon arrived at the airport. Fang Hong told them: "Be careful once you get there."

The three nodded and got out of the car.

"Lao Yu, shoot well," Fang Hong encouraged.

Yu Xian nodded seriously, clenched his fist at him—he'd definitely shoot well.

Next, Fang Hong continued overseeing the post-production of "33 Days of Losing Love," and also recruited staff for the Art and Animation Departments.

The crew already had art directors who designed props and sets.

So just introduce a few people over—the animators and special effects artists—there was already one person in post-production, so just introduce a few more.

Making a game doesn't need many people; early "League of Legends" started with just four.

Fang Hong assembled a preliminary team of about twenty people, since most of the work was his own planning—these people only needed to execute.

If more people were needed, he could add them, or transfer staff from film production.

A 500-square-meter office could be divided into a workspace using glass partitions—no need to overdo it; it was done in a few days.

Then find a manufacturer to install high-end computers and servers in a dedicated server room.

The servers didn't need to be top-tier—the computational load wasn't that big!

Once installed, they could start work immediately.

They didn't even need to wait for renovation—people could start designing heroes the moment they arrived.

Fang Hong's designs were static drawings on paper, and each hero had only one static version—art needed to create multiple static versions, then animation would make them dynamic.

Besides these, he also needed to contact other financial officers—who knew if Meng Jun would come?

He needed a financial officer to handle accounting and financing; having his own person was better—hiring outsiders risked being cheated.

Those playing finance were like magicians—ordinary people couldn't understand them!
