Chapter 562: The College Entrance Exam ends, revelations hit the trending list

Gu Cheng's manager did not have that many reservations.

As soon as Zhang Guang saw the trending topics online, he immediately called Gu Cheng and asked, "I heard this year's math was very difficult. How do you feel? Can you handle it?"

Gu Cheng twirled his pen. Jin Li walked over, and he leaned his forehead against her, bumping against her waist.

This was a gesture of strong dependency.

Jin Li raised her hand and stroked his head, as if grooming a lazy, large dog.

Gu Cheng said, "For me, it was alright. The difficulty wasn't too high. Did you call specifically just to ask this?"

Zhang Guang laughed and said, "If you had answered that it was very difficult, my next sentence would have been: since it's hard, don't go to college, just roll back and be an artist."

Gu Cheng smiled lightly. At this moment, Jin Li placed her hand on the back of his neck and squeezed.

He seemed to be enjoying the squeeze, tilting his head up toward Jin Li to signal for more.

Jin Li, however, pulled her hand back and stopped.

Gu Cheng grabbed her hand, placed it on his shoulder, and rested his hand loosely on her waist.

"Let's forget about that. The identity of a college student is so glorious. I want to pursue further studies and be remolded."

Zhang Guang sighed softly and said helplessly, "Go ahead and remold yourself then. If there's nothing else, I'm hanging up."

Gu Cheng: "There is one thing. After the college entrance exam ends, I hope my schedule can be cleared. We can arrange things after the scores are released."

Zhang Guang frowned slightly and hesitated, "I hadn't heard before that you wanted to clear your schedule. Did something happen?"

He explained: "Your contract was already terminated on the 5th. Logically, a public announcement should have been made on the day of termination. Tian Ding Entertainment hasn't made a move yet, so we haven't either.

With the college entrance exam these past few days, the public's attention is focused on it. But after it ends, your fans will definitely discuss your future. That's when we need to announce the establishment of the new company.

To appease the fans, I have prepared a series of promotional activities so they understand you are still a team. Even if each member has individual schedules in the future, there will be several months of group activities every year."

Zhang Guang: "In summary, once your exam ends, it is best for March Sky to immediately launch team promotional activities. The timing is also appropriate."

Jin Li had been playing with Gu Cheng, but upon hearing this, she stopped.

She heard Gu Cheng say: "I feel like I was photographed during the exam, and there were many celebrities in my exam hall. It's still the exam period, so they won't release the news yet, but after everything is over, they definitely will."

Zhang Guang's expression was solemn: "Are you worried that once reporters find out you also took the exam, if you participate in team activities before the scores come out, you will be pestered by reporters with tricky questions about your grades?"

Gu Cheng said calmly: "Brother Guang, it's not a worry; this is something that will inevitably happen."

Zhang Guang thought for a while and said in a deep voice, "I will discuss it with the team leader. We'll talk about other things after you finish your exam."

Ending the call, Gu Cheng threw his phone on the bed, leaned his body against Jin Li, and held her gently.

He took a deep breath, his expression lazy. Jin Li inexplicably felt like he was "cat-sniffing."

She asked: "Your contract just ended, and it's the time when the public is most concerned about your affiliation. Do you really want to give up the June schedule?"

Gu Cheng nodded: "Although March Sky's fans have become much more rational, there are still many extreme fans. If I still attend activities, they might engage in extreme behavior to prevent me from going to school."

There are always some fans who, under the banner of "planning a career for the star," prevent stars from switching to other fields and don't allow crossovers.

If he hadn't been sure before whether March Sky had such fans, the turmoil caused by the contract termination with the company had made Gu Cheng see clearly.

March Sky has such fans, and more than one!

"I must disappear for a while, otherwise I will implicate March Sky."

Jin Li patted his head and supported him: "Go for it!"

Gu Cheng lazily swatted away the hand she had placed on his head and said slowly, "What are you petting? Are you walking a dog?"

Jin Li also swatted away the claw he had placed on her waist, "What are you hugging? Are you cat-sniffing?"

June 8th, morning exam was Science Comprehensive, afternoon exam was Foreign Language.

The difficulty of these two subjects was about the same as in the past, and the hanging hearts of the candidates finally landed steadily.

Fortunately, the difficulty of the subjects returned to normal; otherwise, if another subject had the same difficulty as math, half of this year's cohort would probably want to repeat the year.

Jin Li handed in her paper ten minutes early during the afternoon Foreign Language exam, and so did Gu Cheng. The two had agreed on it.

After all, they had special identities, and since it was still during the exam period, the candidates in the classroom were relatively restrained.

Once the exam was completely over, whether they could leave the school smoothly was hard to say.

"Ding-a-ling—"

At 5:00 PM, the bell rang, and the teacher collected the papers.

In the exam hall where Jin Li and Gu Cheng were, some candidates turned their heads to look at the two's seats after handing in their papers, only to find them empty!

After leaving the classroom, some internet celebrities who knew each other whispered to each other.

"Did you see when Gu Cheng and Jin Li left? Did they leave at the same time? I feel like the foreign language exam was a bit hard; I only finished five minutes before the end."

"I know, they handed in their papers ten minutes early, raised their hands to signal the teacher, and didn't make much of a scene. I had just finished then and hadn't checked yet, so I didn't follow them out."

"What a pity. I didn't expect them to hand in their papers early. I thought I could take a photo with them in the exam hall."

"Forget it, phones were all collected. How could you take a photo? You can't bring electronic devices in."

About half an hour later, the difficulty of today's two exams spread online, and netizens were excitedly discussing it, with the whole nation participating in this college entrance exam feast.

At the same time, on some internet celebrities' accounts, people began to reveal that they had encountered Gu Cheng and Jin Li in the same exam hall.

Even discussing these two stars separately would generate a lot of buzz.

Putting them together made the topic explode, and it was quickly noticed by their respective fans.

Seeing that too many netizens were asking these questions, some internet celebrities immediately monetized the traffic, starting a live stream to sell goods while discussing the two stars.

【Is there anything special about these two stars taking the exam?】

"No blowing or blackening, I don't know these two stars at all. Both of them participated in the exam as candidates, and they were very well-behaved. There was nothing particularly eye-catching."

After the streamer finished speaking, they started shouting: "Everyone, come and take a look. Auntie Wang's snail rice noodles are authentic. Today, I've applied for a welfare discount for everyone. The original price of 19.8 for Auntie Wang's snail rice noodles is only 9.8. You can get them for only 9.8!"

【It's normal for Jin Li to take the college entrance exam. Everyone knows that she has been live streaming for the past two years wanting to fulfill her dream of going to college. But Gu Cheng has already obtained a foreign diploma, why is he still taking the domestic college entrance exam?】

The streamer said: "I think whether or not to take the college entrance exam is just a thought. Getting a diploma abroad doesn't mean he doesn't want to pursue further studies. Maybe he wants to apply for a different major? As long as you have the ability, you can try."

"Everyone, come and look at Auntie Wang's snail rice noodles. It made me hungry. I'll open a pack to eat in a while. Let me tell you, these snail rice noodles have plenty of ingredients, they are delicious, the taste is authentic, and you can choose whether or not to have pickled bamboo shoots."

【Gu Cheng is giving up such a good career to study instead. That's putting the cart before the horse!】

The streamer saw this bullet comment and laughed.

"Gu Cheng's career is very good, but Jin Li's career isn't bad either. Have you ever thought about why many people have no opinion on Jin Li taking the college entrance exam, but so many people have opinions when Gu Cheng also goes to take the exam?"

"You March Sky fans are biased and unfair. Isn't further study a good thing? Oh, you're worried that after a few years of further study, he won't be able to make it in the entertainment industry? But whether you can make it depends on strength and fame!

As long as fans continue to support him, he won't lack fame whether he appears in front of everyone in four years or many years later. As long as there are fans, there will be work. I think you don't need to worry about those famous artists; they definitely have a way out."

The streamer started selling Auntie Wang's snail rice noodles again.

It wasn't just this internet celebrity; more and more internet celebrities joined in the revelations.

But because no photos were taken, many netizens were still skeptical.

It wasn't until this time that a paparazzi released a photo taken before the college entrance exam. It was a blurry picture.

But from that blurry temperament, one could still vaguely see that the two people were Jin Li and Gu Cheng.

With the photo as proof, netizens exploded instantly.

【What a coincidence, the two of them are actually in the same exam hall and the same classroom!】

【Why is Gu Cheng also taking the college entrance exam? Could it be that he was brought along by Jin Li? (Eating melon)】

【Is there no hope for March Sky to reunite? Is Gu Cheng going to retire from the industry?】

Suddenly, a new tag rushed to the top of the trending list—

#Gu Cheng suspected of retiring! #

As soon as this trending topic appeared, some resourceful netizens actually dug up a video of the two leaving the exam hall in the same nanny van.

【No mosaic, I recognized them at a glance. I just didn't expect this video to appear on social news. I thought I saw it wrong when I saw it at the time!】

【Gu Cheng really went to take the college entrance exam. Will he still be in March Sky?】

【Don't, if he comes out after four years, the day lily will be cold!】

At this time, Gu Cheng and Jin Li, who were being hotly discussed by netizens, had already returned to their respective residences.

At Jin Li's place, her manager, Sui Lingfang, had already arrived.

During the exam period, she hadn't asked Jin Li how she did.

Now that it was over, there was no need to ask. Everything was settled, and they just needed to wait quietly for the results.

When Sui Lingfang opened her phone to check the trending topics, she was already prepared for Jin Li to dominate the list, as there had been many media outlets targeting Jin Li recently.

As a result, when she opened it, the screen was full of "Gu Cheng" and "March Sky," and only one trending topic was related to Jin Li.

Sui Lingfang couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief and said with a smile: "This time, Gu Cheng is blocking the trending topics for you. Compared to you, those people are more eager to pull March Sky down.

Many boy bands are eyeing them. If March Sky really falls, they don't know how many more opportunities they will have."

Jin Li clicked on the trending topics out of curiosity, shook her head, and said: "The fans are a bit overreacting. March Sky has such great energy that it's impossible for them to completely disband. Besides, Gu Cheng doesn't have the idea of not participating in work just to study."

Sui Lingfang asked gossiping: "So is Gu Cheng really going to school?"

Jin Li thought for a while and said: "He used to practice questions with me." She paused and smiled, "I thought he just wanted to pursue me, understand me, and get closer to me."

Sui Lingfang glanced at her.

Jin Li, is it really okay for you to talk about your pursuer to your manager?

Aren't you afraid I'll break up the couple?

Jin Li: "But this time, I saw that he was very serious about the college entrance exam. It doesn't look like he's just playing around, so after the cutoff scores come out, he should go to college."

Sui Lingfang asked: "Do you know what kind of university he wants to apply to and what major he wants to study?"

Jin Li shook her head.

Sui Lingfang asked logically: "What about you? Do you have any ideas about the university and major you want to attend?"

Jin Li said very honestly: "I don't know."

"I initially thought I wanted to study photography, but later I found that my interest in photography was just a momentary impulse, and I didn't want to study it in depth.

After the exam, I was also thinking about what major to choose. Let's wait until the scores come out. Many times, it's not me choosing the major, but the major choosing me."

When Sui Lingfang heard this, she thought Jin Li wanted to wait until the scores came out to see which university she could attend and which major she could apply for with confidence.

Many students without direction choose universities based on their scores, which is not strange.

But what she didn't know was that this was not what Jin Li meant.

She planned to wait until the scores came out, and if she still didn't have a major she wanted to study, she would leave it to metaphysics to decide.

The obsession of this body is to go to college. As long as she goes to college, the dream is fulfilled.

As for what to study, that is for Jin Li to consider herself.

At March Sky's side.

Facing his concerned teammates, Gu Cheng emphasized repeatedly: "Don't worry, I don't have any intention of retiring. I want to study film and television, learn how to make movies, and there will be many opportunities for practical experience."

Chen Lin: "Then why does everyone online say you're retiring?"

Gu Cheng said speechlessly: "You ask me, who do I ask?"

Chen Lin said confidently: "It must be because you usually appear too indifferent to everything, so netizens think you're retiring!"

Gu Cheng retorted: "Netizens also say you look silly usually, so do you admit you're a silly dog?"

"Alright, alright!" Team leader Yan Xingdong couldn't watch anymore and interrupted this childish conversation.

"First, we must quickly clarify the trending topics online. Brother Guang is already thinking of a plan for this.

Taking advantage of your high popularity this time, we plan to announce the establishment of the new company as well and tell netizens about March Sky's future plans. You guys have no problem with that, right?"

The others said in unison: "No problem!"

"By the way, Gu Cheng." Yan Xingdong seemed to have thought of something and asked: "Brother Guang told me that you will only participate in activities after the scores come out, and before that, you won't respond to any media questions or attend any activities. Is that confirmed?"

Gu Cheng: "Confirmed. You guys had better not say too much either, so as not to be caught by the media. Our friendship doesn't need to be proven to the media."

Yan Xingdong patted his shoulder and smiled: "Then you just stay in the villa this month. Don't blame me if you get moldy."

Gu Cheng smiled meaningfully, "Is that so? I think I'm quite happy."

A few days later, when the others in March Sky were busy attending various activities, they realized Gu Cheng's smile in hindsight.

Chen Lin said depressedly: "I suddenly thought, Jin Li also doesn't participate in activities before the scores come out, and he is the same. Can't they video call every day?"

Yan Xingdong and Luo Yi:...

They really hadn't thought of this possibility before.

Damn it, he showed off again!!!
