Chapter 74: I Can

~8 min read 1,420 words

Su Xiangwan gave her a grateful look: "Okay." She lifted her feet and quickly left the private room.

Qin Shu withdrew her gaze, met the provocations of Chu Sheng and Jiang Xubai, and smiled: "Let's play, who said I wouldn't dare?"

She raised an eyebrow: "Play what?"

Chu Sheng's expression stiffened for a few seconds; she hadn't expected Qin Shu to actually stay.

Chu Sheng looked at Gu Tingyan, a smile on her face: "Tingyan, what shall we play?"

She seemed to have completely forgotten about the slap she had received from Gu Tingyan earlier.

Gu Tingyan stood up and walked toward Qin Shu, sitting in the seat previously occupied by Lu Ziqian; his voice was full of magnetism as he spoke: "Let's play dice, we'll play something different."

He lit a cigarette and held it in his mouth, his voice languid: "The winner can make any request of the loser."

Hearing this way of playing, Chu Sheng's eyes lit up immediately.

If she won against Gu Tingyan, she could also make any request.

Qin Shu said indifferently: "Fine."

Jiang Xubai placed all the dice on the table: "Five people, call from five points."

He turned his head to look at the person who had been silent all along: "Ji Yanli, are you playing?"

Ji Yanli glanced at Qin Shu, and seeing that she was playing, he joined in as well.

Gu Tingyan watched this scene calmly, took a drag of his cigarette, and let out a cold laugh.

Gu Tingyan looked at Qin Shu and gave a cold sneer: "Do you even know how to play?"

Qin Shu glanced at him indifferently and retorted sarcastically: "I have a brain, unlike some people."

Gu Tingyan's hand holding the cigarette paused slightly; was she indirectly insulting him?

The five of them gathered together, and the sound of rolling dice rang out in the private room; Jiang Xubai called out: "Stop."

He looked at Chu Sheng: "I'll start the bidding."

"Five sixes."

Chu Sheng: "Six sixes."

Ji Yanli: "Seven fives."

Qin Shu: "Eight fives."

Gu Tingyan glanced at her dismissively, a calm look of certain victory on his lips: "I challenge you."

Qin Shu's body paused slightly; she opened the dice cup expressionlessly. Jiang Xubai counted the points on the table, and even including those in Qin Shu's dice, there were not eight fives in total.

Gu Tingyan's gaze landed on Qin Shu's lips; he moved closer to her, pressed her onto the sofa, and held her head with his large hand to kiss her deeply, forceful and full of possessiveness.

Qin Shu's eyes widened as she looked at the face inches away; she raised her hand to slap him, but Gu Tingyan grabbed her hand, stood up, released her, and sat back in his own seat, breathing heavily: "Can't handle losing?"

Qin Shu raised her hand and wiped her lips fiercely, as if disgusted by Gu Tingyan.

Seeing this action, Gu Tingyan was so angry his heart ached, and his face turned gloomy.

The other three in the private room saw the two kissing, their expressions varied, each with their own thoughts.

Ji Yanli saw Gu Tingyan and Qin Shu embracing and kissing; his throat felt dry, and a faint pain welled up in his heart. He picked up the wine glass on the table and downed it in one gulp.

Jiang Xubai was stunned and looked at him: "You didn't even lose, why are you drinking?"

Gu Tingyan's dark, deep eyes looked toward Ji Yanli; his fingertips gently crushed the dice in his hand, his expression obscure and difficult to read.

Ji Yanli said expressionlessly: "I'm thirsty."

The second round began.

When it was Ji Yanli's turn, he called: "Seven eights."

He skipped over Qin Shu and looked at Gu Tingyan: "I challenge you."

Gu Tingyan's lips curled into a smile, and he raised an eyebrow faintly: "Sure, skipping a turn, the penalty is doubled."

He opened his dice; Jiang Xubai counted the points on the table, and it was exactly enough, neither more nor less.

Gu Tingyan looked at Ji Yanli: "Ten cups of wine."

Ji Yanli placed the wine bottle on the table and drank ten cups in a row.

A new round began; after one turn, Chu Sheng also challenged Gu Tingyan, and she still lost.

Gu Tingyan said lightly: "Ten cups of wine."

Chu Sheng gritted her teeth and downed them directly.

After finishing, she almost threw up.

Chu Sheng prepared to challenge Qin Shu, but when it was Qin Shu's turn to call the points, she took the initiative first.

Qin Shu looked at Chu Sheng, her expression unreadable: "Ten fives."

"I challenge you."

It was immediately Chu Sheng's turn to call the points, but hearing the points Qin Shu called and being challenged herself, her expression turned ugly.

Chu Sheng opened her dice; her points were not enough, while Qin Shu had exactly what was needed.

Chu Sheng lost.

Gu Tingyan raised an eyebrow at Qin Shu: "You learn fast."

Qin Shu rolled her eyes at him expressionlessly and looked at Chu Sheng: "Twenty cups of wine."

Chu Sheng almost jumped up, her face pale: "Qin Shu, you did that on purpose!"

Qin Shu's lips curled slightly, carrying a sense of revenge: "Yes."

Chu Sheng's expression was gloomy; she wouldn't drink this wine, she couldn't handle losing.

After drinking twenty cups of wine, her stomach churned violently; was that enough for her to suffer?

Jiang Xubai felt some pity for Chu Sheng and looked at Qin Shu coldly: "It's just a game, don't take it too far."

Qin Shu let out a cold laugh and retorted with the same words, showing no mercy: "Can't handle losing?"

Jiang Xubai was left feeling stifled by Qin Shu's words.

Qin Shu said indifferently, "If I lose, you all won't necessarily let me go."

Chu Sheng picked up the liquor and poured it: "I'll drink."

"I, Chu Sheng, am not someone who can't afford to lose."

Qin Shu raised an eyebrow, sat to the side with her arms crossed, and just watched as Chu Sheng drank twenty cups of liquor in one go.

After finishing, Chu Sheng felt a wave of discomfort in her stomach; she endured it, exchanged a look with Jiang Xubai, and planned to target Qin Shu together.

Chu Sheng started with a high number, and when it was Jiang Xubai's turn to call a number, he looked at Qin Shu: "Nine ones."

"Open."

Qin Shu opened it; she didn't have any.

Jiang Xubai's phone rang; he looked down at it, then looked at Qin Shu with an ambiguous expression: "Kiss any person of the opposite sex in the private room for one minute."

Qin Shu was stunned.

The people of the opposite sex in the private room were only Gu Tingyan, Ji Yanli, and Jiang Xubai.

It was impossible for her to kiss Gu Tingyan.

At the mere thought of having to kiss Chu Sheng's sycophant Jiang Xubai, goosebumps broke out all over Qin Shu's body.

Qin Shu's gaze unconsciously drifted toward Ji Yanli; the only remaining choice was Ji Yanli.

Qin Shu frowned; wouldn't that be inappropriate?

None of the three men in the private room could be kissed.

Chu Sheng really knew how to make a move; this move was vicious enough.

Jiang Xubai sneered: "Hurry up, don't waste our time."

"Can't you afford to play?"

Qin Shu stared at Ji Yanli's lips for a moment, then slightly looked away, struggling deep inside.

Ji Yanli's body stiffened slightly, his eyes lifted, and he sat up straight; he looked at Qin Shu and said in a low voice, "I am willing."

Qin Shu was stunned.

Gu Tingyan's expression turned as dark as charcoal in an instant, and the look he gave Ji Yanli was practically murderous!

Willing?

What was he willing to do!

Just what was he willing to do?!

Gu Tingyan radiated a cold aura; his thin lips were pressed tightly together, and he sat next to Qin Shu, picked up a wine glass, took a sip, and set it down heavily!

The glass was set down heavily on the table, and everyone in the private room heard it; it was hard not to notice him.

Qin Shu glanced at him indifferently, then withdrew her gaze, not having considered him at all.

If asked to kiss Gu Tingyan for a minute, she would rather kiss Ji Yanli.

She was just afraid it would be awkward when the two met in the future.
