Chapter 511: Revenge! Revenge! Revenge!

~6 min read 1,092 words

Tuqucha Engine nodded slightly and uttered a clear syllable: "Good."

The sound was like celestial music to Airebas's ears.

The Three Sacred Artifacts possess an instinct to converge—Tuqucha Engine, the Plague Heart, and the Ouroboros all yearn to reunite and reform the ancient Holy Artifact of old.

It was surely for this reason that Tuqucha Engine chose to aid Airebas.

Indeed, indeed, Airebas was the one favored by fate.

He would not die—he would never die!!!

"Tell me the location of the Plague Heart."

Tuqucha Engine opened his mouth slightly and said:

"Take the Plague Heart… with you."

Tuqucha Engine's words were fragmented, as if lacking much wisdom, only childlike instinct.

Airebas's will to survive overwhelmed all else—he immediately told Tuqucha Engine the location of the Plague Heart.

Tuqucha Engine nodded slightly; searing electric light flickered around him, and the continuity of time and space was torn apart in an instant.

Then, one of the ancient Holy Artifacts vanished from within the Dark Angel's fortress.

Tuqucha Engine had formed a certain friendship with Lai En; he was Lai En's collaborator, bound by maximum mutual trust—not a slave or possession of the Dark Angel. The Dark Angel had installed no locking device around him, nor could he lock down Tuqucha Engine, a creation of the ancient Holy Ones.

Almost instantly, Tuqucha Engine's figure appeared deep within Lu Se's flagship, upon the living asteroid of flesh.

That was the Plague Heart—one of the Three Sacred Artifacts of the Holy Ones.

The child's corpse controlled by Tuqucha Engine slowly crouched down and touched the asteroid beneath his feet.

"Plague Heart… millennia… finally reunited."

Airebas did not focus on Tuqucha Engine.

For Karn, wings spread, engulfed in the Emperor's flames, had already reached Airebas's face.

The Avenger loomed over Airebas; the eyes of Lao Mu and Karn carried cold, murderous intent.

Airebas grinned and laughed: "Fools, do you truly believe you can kill me?"

"I am the Hand of Fate, I am the Child of Chaos, I am Airebas, I am the one who shall—"

Blood Son crashed through the air and slammed onto Airebas's face; blood gushed uncontrollably.

Airebas screamed, wailed—but the Blood Son's roar drowned out his cries; the chainsaw carved across his skin, ripping away the flesh inscribed with the Book of Luojia, relentlessly striking his skull, filling his cranium with the vibration of the chainsaw, shaking his brain violently, inflicting unbearable pain and torment.

"Save me!!!"

"What are you doing!!!!"

Airebas screamed at Tuqucha Engine, who stood atop the Plague Heart.

The child's corpse controlled by Tuqucha Engine slowly stood up; his glowing eyes were no longer vacant, but sharp and cunning.

His voice was no longer halting—it flowed smoothly.

"Idiotic primitive."

Tuqucha Engine extended his hand and gave Airebas the middle finger with his bony fingers:

"We do desire convergence—but those who wish for us to unite must queue from one end of the galaxy to the other."

"Why should we merge in the hands of a disgusting thing like you?"

"Isn't the Emperor, Vashthor, or Doraemon a better choice?"

"Say hello to Lai En for me, foolish, dim-witted primitive."

With those words, searing electric light wrapped the Plague Heart, tearing apart the fabric of reality; in an instant, both Tuqucha Engine and the Plague Heart vanished from the star system, gone without a trace.

Airebas froze—but Karn and Lao Mu gave him no time to comprehend his situation.

The Blood Son surged forward and slammed onto Airebas's completely skinned face, crushing it against the wall.

Airebas crashed against the wall like rotten meat; his bare face left a grotesque trail of blood.

He fell to the ground, struggling to flee—but the Blood Son descended, shattering his legs.

Karn stood behind him, watching Airebas with cold silence.

"Spare me, Karn, spare me…" Airebas shrieked in terror:

"No, you don't understand—it was the gods' will! Your fall into darkness was inevitable! Your path along the Eightfold Blood Road was destined!"

"Anger Tai was only blocking you—I removed the obstacle so you could become the Blood God's Chosen!!!"

"And ten thousand years have passed! Ten thousand years!!! What hatred cannot be forgiven!!!"

Karn looked down at Airebas's grotesque form, listening to his words—and suddenly remembered what the Seed of Destruction had told him.

"Can a grudge of ten lifetimes still be avenged?"

"Even a hundred lifetimes, yes."

Karn's voice was cold, silent.

Yet his lips could not help but curl slightly; the hollow blackness in his eyes flickered with a hint of color.

He felt a faint sense of fulfillment—something had finally returned to his mind, long hollowed by the Butcher's Nail and the Blood God's blessing.

"I am willing to pay any price—I can help you become gods…" Airebas wailed in pleading.

"I don't care," Karn replied, then turned his head to Lao Mu: "Do you care?"

"I only want him dead," Lao Mu growled.

"Then let him die," Karn nodded in agreement.

The Blood Son crashed down, crushing Airebas's back, shattering his spine, shredding his organs.

Airebas screamed in agony, realizing with disbelief that he was truly dying.

No, this was not how it should be—he was meant to become one of the gods! He was the Child of Chaos!

Airebas screamed, hysterical, shrill.

"Karn, what do you know!!!"

"Do you think killing Anger Tai was my will?! "

"It was the Blood God! The Blood God craves your fall! And Anger Tai would have stopped it all!!"

"It was the Blood God's will that made me kill Anger Tai!!! Karn!!!"

"Oh," Karn replied coldly; the Blood Son descended and smashed onto Airebas's skull.

BOOM!!!!

Airebas's head exploded like a watermelon beneath Karn's chainsaw axe, brains splattered across the ground, horrifyingly grotesque.

Airebas's soul shrieked, trying to flee into the Warp—but in an instant, it was devoured by the Emperor's roaring flames upon the Blood Son.

Lao Mu roared with laughter; his broken body surged half out from Karn's form, bit down on Airebas's soul, tore it into utter fragments, then swallowed it whole, mixed with the Emperor's flames.

Looking at Airebas's remains on the ground, Karn showed no expression—he remained utterly calm.

He slowly turned around; Lai En Er Zhuangsen and Yebi Daxiong stood behind him. They had not interfered while he avenged himself upon Airebas.

Karn nodded, silently thanking them.

Then his gaze slowly rose, upward into the Highest Heaven, toward the Blood God—who had watched all of this from the beginning, who had praised and laughed as Airebas died.

"Karn." The Blood God's voice thundered.
