Chapter 94: They Are All My Wings

~6 min read 1,158 words

Nearly a hundred members of a biker gang were gathered outside Manbo Internet Cafe, all under thirty, mostly teenagers, each armed with high-lethality weapons like MP7s and Beretta 9s.

Today was meant to be their moment to flaunt their power.

But.

Continuous thunderous booms kept echoing from inside the cafe—unless they’d overdosed on hallucinogens, they were certain they hadn’t brought any grenades.

Then a figure appeared at the cafe’s entrance, holding a massive sword in one hand, lightning writhing around his body—he looked like a character from a movie, his golden eyes, enhanced by contact lenses, staring through his mask at them.

“Open fire!”

Bullets rained out; they didn’t care if there were others inside the cafe.

Their goal was to kill everyone in the portrait.

Clang!

Clang!

The bullets halted inches from the masked man’s face, then fell to the ground.

All the gang members stood frozen, remembering the “god” who had appeared days ago—this unknown supernatural power now laid bare before their eyes.

Even they, who feared nothing, began to feel fear.

The masked man gave them no time to regret or flee—he leapt upward, gripping the golden greatsword with both hands, its spine glowing gold, the earth trembling as thunder rolled.

BOOM!

Su Lin watched from beside a distant street; the colossal column of lightning descended like divine punishment, following the swing of the Wu Gong Sword.

“I won.”

“You totally cheated!” Lao Lu grumbled. “I know my own personality—he’d never make such a spectacle!”

“Who knows?” Su Lin cracked sunflower seeds. “Maybe he changed his ways, just like you did.”

“Here!” Lao Lu angrily tossed a wakizashi at Su Lin. “I’m not playing with you again!”

Su Lin glanced at the Seven Deadly Sins: Lust in his hand, then stored it in his miscellaneous collection vault—a 500-point portable subspace safe.

System items go in the system space; these bulky, useless collectibles go in the subspace vault.

He buried half his body into the vault, heaved with effort, and hurled the weapon onto a pile of green bills beside the Devil Fruit.

One sword alone didn’t warrant a weapon rack—but if it were a full set…

He shut the vault, then grinned at Lao Lu.

“What about the other six?”

“Get lost!”

Su Lin wasn’t upset—he opened the Rolls-Royce’s door and stepped in.

The car continued driving.

Along the way, as the chat group’s countdown ended, Su Lin’s world synchronized its time flow with all other worlds—meaning, however long he stayed in the Dragon Clan world, the same duration would pass when he returned.

“You really plan to open a harem?” Su Lin crossed his legs, sipping fake cola.

In front, Jiude Mayi’s curiosity flared instantly; she straightened up, driving carefully while listening intently.

“They’re all my wings—I have beautiful memories with each of them. I couldn’t bear to abandon any.” Lao Lu pressed his chest, wearing a nostalgic expression: “The thrilling first heartbeat, the vow to hold hands and grow old together, souls entangled in loneliness.”

“Though many aren’t my greatest love, each holds a fragment of my heart—some large, some small.”

“Only when all these fragments are glued together is my heart whole.”

“I’m gonna throw up,” Su Lin felt nauseous. How could anyone say such trash with such sincerity? Lu Mingfei had taught him: “What the hell did you go through to become this twisted?”

“Did you break down?”

“Su Lin, you wouldn’t understand,” Lu Mingfei said carefree, smiling. “They’re immersive experiences, one after another.”

“Fictitious, yet undeniably real.”

“To me, these emotions are the most beautiful things.”

“Su Xiaoqiang is the companion of youth, Ling is unwavering loyalty, Hui Liyi is a vow of life and death, Nuo Nuo is the morning star in the night…”

Jiude Mayi grew more excited—she knew exactly what to gossip about with Su Enxi when they returned.

“Jiude Mayi is the spark of passion and Rexue .”

Screech—

The sound of tires grinding against asphalt—Jiude Mayi, for the first time, became an incompetent driver: she slammed on the brakes, with no emergency and no boss’s order.

She turned in horror to the backseat, hands and feet icy cold—her boss, who looked exactly like Lu Mingfei, kept talking nonstop, while Su Lin stared wide-eyed at him, the cola in his hand having slipped unnoticed to the floor during the brake.

“Su Enxi is the wise, proud elf—oh, I still remember the special-flavor chips she customized for me.”

“Elizabeth Laurent is…”

Su Lin listened as Lu Mingfei named over twenty women.

“Are you a breeding dragon?!” Su Lin’s scalp prickled.

“How dare you speak like that? I’ve lived over a million years—what’s wrong with having a few romances?” Lu Mingfei said dismissively.

Meanwhile, Jiude Mayi in the driver’s seat wondered if she’d been sold as a heating-room maid.

Or worse—sold together with the chip girl.

This Lu Mingfei was still delusional, muttering nonsense she couldn’t understand—but she knew one thing: he made her dress like this because he had lecherous intentions.

We’re doomed, Chip Girl—we’re becoming someone’s harem concubines.

“Wait—there aren’t any men too, are there?” Su Lin’s face twisted; he suddenly remembered that in some worlds, Lu Mingfei was female. “You didn’t go completely insane, did you?”

Jiude Mayi held her breath—sold off was bad enough, but bidirectionally?!

No! Not that! Not that!

“Hahaha, of course not—I have boundaries.”

Su Lin’s expression eased slightly, but still found it absurd.

“I’ll only let my version in one world be born female, then let her meet the male version of me.”

“…”

“Six.”

What could Su Lin say? The gentleman might as well ride the wind and soar ninety thousand miles.

“You really think all these women will willingly join your harem?”

The Lu Mingfei before him smirked wickedly. “Heh, I’ve already tried.”

“It took twenty-seven worldlines of myself to achieve this greatest accomplishment!”

“I’ve mastered them all!”

He clenched his fingers as if victory were already assured.

“Not everyone will accept it—but half? No problem!”

“My wings are fully grown—it’s time to step into a happy life!”

“Oh, by the way,” Lao Lu said. “Got any more floating mountains? Lend me one as a base—I’ll trade you the Seven Deadly Sins.”

“The final assault is already being prepared. Of course, if you’re willing to intervene directly, I can just dismiss them all.”

Lao Lu hadn’t expected Su Lin to ascend to godhood—he’d assumed he was just a plain Foundation Establishment cultivator, but during his efforts to elevate those half-breeds, this guy had ascended outright.

Though it was less than one percent of his peak power, that kind of strength could save him considerable effort.

At least, it was a dimensional strike against today’s Earth.

“Forget it, you handle it yourself…” Su Lin opened a teleportation portal. “I’ll bring you a floating mountain in two days. The other six…”

“Must have teleportation functionality.”

Su Lin glanced at the cost of the Seven Deadly Sins. “Deal.”
