Chapter 6

~2 min read 301 words

Most people still use OO as their primary workplace chat tool.

It was already past nine at night, and as a manager, he was working overtime to set an example.

Of course, his overtime mostly consisted of wandering around the office, drinking coffee, or chatting with female employees.

He simply didn't need to do any actual work.

It was nearly nine-thirty, and Wang Shengli felt it was time enough for him to leave the company.

As a manager, working overtime until nine-thirty was more than sufficient to set an example.

Even if others in the company had complaints, they had no grounds to object.

As usual, he sat down at his desk and prepared to shut down his computer.

Just as he gripped the mouse, the blackened screen flickered back to life.

Then he saw the notification that his OO had been forcibly logged out.

This stunned Wang Shengli for a moment.

He hadn't logged in anywhere else—why had his OO been forcibly logged out?

Confused, he clicked "re-login."

But the system replied: password incorrect.

Wang Shengli immediately realized his account had been hacked.

"What the fuck, who the hell hacked my account?" Wang Shengli exploded.

He hadn't visited any inappropriate sites—how had his account been hacked?

His OO was used mostly for work, containing mostly colleagues and company superiors, followed by family, classmates, and friends.

If someone hacked it and sent inappropriate messages, it would be incredibly embarrassing.

Most importantly, he feared someone might use it to scam money.

Thinking of this, he stood up and left his office.

Shortly after, Wang Shengli returned.

Behind him followed a man in his late twenties.

He was the company's technical staff, named Fang Ze, an expert in computers.

He also understood OO well—Wang Shengli had come to him to recover his account.
