Chapter 641: Hong Dao Space

~8 min read 1,406 words

Each consumed one million Golden Source Points.

The Qingwei Heaven Jade Clarity Realm, the Yuyu Heaven Supreme Clarity Realm, and the Dachi Heaven Grand Clarity Realm—these three great firmaments, along with the three great element Transformation Bodies stationed within them, and the three types of Great Dao, eternal, infinite, and absolute, began to ascend.

If one were to cultivate on their own, the advancement of the Three Pure Heavens and the three types of Great Dao would be like walking; not to mention the finish line, even reaching a stage-based destination would be a prospect with no end in sight.

But now, his speed was even faster than riding a rocket; his strength climbed step by step, and his momentum erupted violently, breaking through layers of invisible and intangible barriers.

Li Heng felt the changes within himself and was somewhat surprised.

Because even he had not discovered that there were so many layers of hidden barriers above this; he had thought he was only one step away from breaking through above the Great Venerable.

It seems one truly cannot trust the predictions of high realms made from low realms too much, otherwise one will only fall into a state of self-satisfaction, trapped by one's own realm, unable to see new scenery.

This state is like being able to ascend infinitely at will, being able to surpass infinite Worlds with a wave of the hand, yet being able to create this kind of infinite ascension and elevated worldview with a single thought.

It can be said that one can transcend however one wishes, and one is also becoming infinitely stronger; it looks far stronger and far more noble than those ascenders who slowly ascend through layer after layer of Worlds.

You cultivate slowly, ascending from the True Realm to the Immortal Realm, and from the Immortal Realm to the God Realm, repeating this endlessly—what is the use? It is nothing but mechanical ascension, mechanical improvement; failing to see the essence of cultivation, one will only fall into an endless dead end of ascension, forever trapped here.

Such beings are merely ants trapped inside a box.

On the contrary, I have already transcended the box; I can create boxes with a wave of my hand, and I can become as strong as I want. No matter how many layers of boxes the ants inside have climbed, or even if it is infinite layers of boxes, there is still an essential difference between them and me; they cannot compare to me.

Someone who believes they have transcended everything evaluated it this way.

Li Heng closed his eyes, letting these thoughts and ideas flash by.

Admittedly, these ants trapped in boxes, these living beings who can only fall into the dead end of infinite ascension, are indeed pathetic, and they indeed cannot understand the essence of cultivation of those who consider themselves to have transcended everything, and thus they will only end up as playthings for these people who have transcended everything.

But is there such a possibility?

Are those who consider themselves to have transcended everything also quite pathetic? After all, this can also be considered being trapped in the realm of one's own "transcending everything" and "becoming infinitely stronger," right?

A high realm relative to a low realm is, with high probability, unknown, profound, difficult or even impossible for the low realm to understand—a brand-new scenery that the low realm has never seen.

In other words, the Unknown always exists.

Cultivation is like drawing an increasingly larger circle for oneself within the endless Unknown. And the larger the circle, the more one should know of one's own ignorance.

But there are always some who immerse themselves in their own circle, lost within their own circle, believing their circle is already large enough, infinitely large, that it can expand anytime and anywhere, that they have already gone beyond this circle—what is called Omniscient and Omnipotent is precisely this.

Then, they remain forever stagnant at the stage of Obtaining Dao, not knowing that after Obtaining Dao comes Abandoning Dao, Denying Dao, and subsequently pursuing a newer Great Dao, witnessing newer scenery.

Climbing boxes, falling into mechanical ascension, repeatedly seeing old scenery in new bottles, or being ants whose essence sublimation is restricted—these are indeed pathetic.

But those who fall into this "Obtaining Dao trap" are also quite pathetic.

At least, that is what Li Heng thinks at the moment.

He does not know if there truly exists an objective True Dao in the world, such that once one recognizes the True Dao, one never needs to progress again and is forever at the ceiling. But if this True Dao really exists, his current line of thought seems to have fallen into a lower tier, falling into a cycle of infinite Seeking Dao, and is instead inferior to those who have already obtained the Dao?

After all, in this situation, there is only one answer.

For him to go and deny this answer is indeed quite clownish.

It is just that he always feels that this spirit and attitude of infinite seeking is the correct one, belonging to a more correct, higher-level correctness, even if the True Dao truly exists, even if there is only one answer?

Li Heng asked himself, and then nodded heavily.

For him, it is precisely so.

At this moment.

The confusion in Li Heng's heart was resolved to the greatest extent; the Three Pure Heavens, along with the three types of Great Dao, began to undergo an essential elevation, combining together to raise his realm to above the Great Venerable.

He only felt his vision begin to rise infinitely, and then he seemed to hear a faint "Crack!" sound, as if he had touched the ceiling and arrived at a brand-new domain.

But this domain did not seem high; it was merely independent.

A domain completely independent of the Great Void where he was located!

The first thing he saw in this domain was a concept.

"Cycle".

Li Heng saw the small cycle: the circulation of blood, the cycle of breathing, the cycle of the human body. He then saw the medium cycle: the cycle of all things, the cycle of Causality, the cycle of Heaven and Earth.

Finally, he saw the great cycle.

The cycle of the Great Dao!

Subsequently, endless insights appeared in Li Heng's mind, showing him the secret of the cycle, leading him to establish his own cycle of the Great Dao, and thereby becoming completely independent of the Great Void, completely self-sufficient, no longer subject to the constraints and shackles of the Great Void.

However, Li Heng did not take action.

Because with his second look, he saw another concept.

This seemed to be the opposite of the cycle, a more extreme, and also more Strange, concept that deviated from the mainstream; that was "Conquest".

Conquering the body, conquering the soul, conquering Causality, conquering Fate, conquering Heaven and Earth, and even conquering the Great Void, and finally conquering the Unknown, opening up the Unknown, making everything move forward.

At this moment, insights independent of the great cycle appeared in Li Heng's mind, telling him that Great Dao cultivation does not need any throttling or cycling, but only infinite open-source, taking from the outside, exploring the Unknown, conquering the Unknown, and obtaining the Unknown—then everything is accomplished.

Interesting, Li Heng chuckled.

Because with his third look, he saw even more concepts; these concepts were all quite different from the cycle and Conquest he had seen before, and the concepts were all very equal and independent.

Consequently, insights appeared in his mind, and he already understood the origin of this space. This was clearly a supreme domain that could only be seen by those above the Great Venerable, and where one could exchange Great Dao.

But who created this domain?

Li Heng thought with doubt in his heart, and then this domain changed abruptly; as his heart changed, a line of text slowly appeared before his eyes.

"Hahaha, this Daoist has transcended and left, so I won't wait for you all. I opened this space while I was at it for cultivating the Dao, and now I gift it to you. Oh, right, your realm names are all a mess; from now on, use the unified names I give you. If you are not convinced, transcend up and find me, and let's see who is stronger!"

"The realm name shall be called—'Hong Dao'!"
