Chapter 206: Young Esdeath

Early the next morning, Lingyun's bedroom door was kicked open with force. Lingyun, who was holding a book and reading, narrowed his eyes slightly and looked toward the door.

Standing at the doorway was a young girl. Although the girl was not very old, she had long blue hair, and her ice-blue eyes flashed with a daunting brilliance. "Esdeath, didn't I tell you to call me Master!" Lingyun couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Hiyah!" As Lingyun said this, Esdeath had already rushed to his side, clenching her delicate fist and smashing it toward Lingyun's head.

Lingyun didn't even turn his head; he reached out a hand behind him and grabbed Esdeath's fist. Esdeath, her fist caught, suddenly flipped her body, her long, slender legs sweeping toward Lingyun's body with a gust of wind. Lingyun released Esdeath's fist, and his right hand lifted seemingly casually, yet it perfectly sealed off all of Esdeath's attack routes.

With a "Boom," Esdeath's kick swept heavily against Lingyun's arm, and she then used that force to perform a backflip, landing steadily on the ground. However, when she looked up, Lingyun had already appeared in front of her and flicked her forehead with a finger.
