Chapter 119: Newly Created

~6 min read 1,105 words

Tuoleisi stood at the edge of the academy square, his face as pale as paper, fine beads of sweat seeping from his forehead.

His gaze darted around in panic, trying to find an escape route, but the academy's guard squad had already surrounded him on all sides.

His plot was completely exposed; not only did he fail to destroy Robin, but it plunged him into desperation.

"Tuoleisi, your plot ends here." Weiting, accompanied by several high-ranking knights, stepped in front of Tuoleisi and said coldly.

His gaze carried a hint of mockery, as if he were looking at a jumping clown.

Tuoleisi opened his mouth, but found he had nothing to say. His throat felt blocked by something, unable to utter a single word of defense.

Countless thoughts flashed through his mind, trying to find an excuse to escape, but all his efforts seemed feeble and futile.

Robin stood not far away, coldly observing everything. His eyes held no anger, no smugness, only a faint indifference.

As Tuoleisi was escorted past him by Weiting's men, Robin slowly raised his hand and gave Tuoleisi the middle finger.

Although Tuoleisi didn't understand the exact meaning of the gesture, he could feel the contempt and ridicule it conveyed.

His face instantly turned livid, a flash of spiteful hatred appearing in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced by despair.

The news of Tuoleisi's expulsion from the academy quickly spread throughout the West.

His father—the Earl Morel—was a prominent noble in the West, enjoying great prestige and influence.

Tuoleisi's actions, however, brought shame upon the entire family, possibly making them the public enemy of the western nobility.

In the family estate, Earl Morel sat in a high-backed chair in the study, his face grim and terrifying.

Before him stood several family elders, their eyes tinged with reproach and disappointment.

"Tuoleisi's behavior has severely damaged the family's reputation," an elder said softly. "If we do not act, it may affect the family's influence in the West."

Earl Morel fell silent for a moment, then slowly nodded: "Convey my order—effective today, Tuoleisi is no longer a member of the Morel family. All his rights and property will be stripped, and his name will be erased from the family."

Tuoleisi was brought to the family estate's hall, facing the elders and servants; his face was pale, his eyes filled with fear and despair.

He himself had no way to retreat.

"Tuoleisi, you have betrayed the family's trust and harmed its reputation," Earl Morel's voice icy and stern. "Effective today, you are no longer a member of the Morel family. Your knightly cultivation will be abolished, and you will be completely expelled from the family."

Tuoleisi's body trembled slightly, a pleading glint appearing in his eyes: "Father... please give me one more chance..."

Earl Morel gave him a cold glance, waved his hand: "Take him away."

Several family guards stepped forward and dragged Tuoleisi out of the hall.

His knightly cultivation was abolished, and the life force within his body was completely sealed.

From then on, he was no longer the lofty noble scion, but a vagrant cast out by his family.

Cast out of the family, Tuoleisi walked the western wilderness in tattered clothes.

His face was covered in dust and fatigue, his eyes brimming with despair and resentment.

The former glory and status had now turned to nothing.

"Why... why has it come to this?" Tuoleisi muttered softly, his voice choked with emotion.

Just as he was about to give up hope, several mysterious figures in black robes silently appeared before him.

Their faces bore eerie smiles, their eyes gleaming with greedy light.

"Tuoleisi, we've been waiting for you a long time," the lead black-robed figure said in a low voice, his tone hoarse and chilling.

Tuoleisi lifted his head, a flicker of wariness in his eyes: "Who are you?"

The black-robed man gave a soft chuckle, slowly raising his hand as a cluster of dark light appeared in his palm: "We are members of the Wizard Council. We know your plight and your hatred. Join us, and you will gain the power for revenge."

A hint of hesitation flashed in Tuoleisi's eyes, but was quickly overtaken by resentment. He nodded, his voice firm: "Fine, I'll join you."

The black-robed men brought Tuoleisi to a secret stronghold of the Wizard Council.

It lay in a desolate tract on the western border, shrouded by a powerful barrier that outsiders could not detect.

In the stronghold's hall, Tuoleisi met a high-ranking member of the Wizard Council—Stamo Duya.

Stamo's face bore an eerie smile, his eyes full of greed and ambition.

"Tuoleisi, welcome to the Wizard Council," Stamo said softly, his voice tinged with allure. "We will grant you the power for revenge, and you will become a vital part of our plan."

A flicker of coldness appeared in Tuoleisi's eyes, his voice resolute: "As long as it lets me take revenge, I'm willing to do anything."

Stamo nodded, then waved his hand. Several black-robed men stepped forward and led Tuoleisi into a secret chamber.

In the center of the chamber sat a crystal flickering with dark light—the Soul-Eating Crystal.

This Soul-Eating Crystal had just been forged by them; to create it, they had slaughtered an entire city.

"This is the Soul-Eating Crystal; it will grant you immense power," Stamo said low, his voice fervent. "But remember, the price of power is eternity."

Tuoleisi's gaze locked onto the crystal, his eyes flashing with a complex light.

Images of being cast out by his family and expelled from the academy surfaced in his mind; his resentment burned like fire. He gritted his teeth, voice firm: "As long as it lets me take revenge, I'm willing to pay any price."

Stamo's lips curled slightly, revealing an eerie smile: "Good, Tuoleisi. Your resolve pleases me. Now place your hand on the crystal and accept its power."

Tuoleisi walked forward without hesitation, extended his trembling hand, and slowly placed it upon the Soul-Eating Crystal.

The instant his palm touched the crystal, a surge of icy, violent energy flooded into his body.

His body shook violently, as if every nerve were being torn apart and every muscle crushed.

"Ah——!" Tuoleisi let out a pained howl, the light in his eyes gradually swallowed by darkness.

Black markings appeared on his skin, like poisonous snakes slithering through his veins.

His consciousness began to blur, countless shrill screams echoing in his ears, as if myriad wronged spirits were roaring in his mind.

"What... is this?" Tuoleisi's voice turned hoarse and low, as if it were no longer his own.
