Chapter 92: Forbidden Land
Robin gripped his Sword tightly, and his Life Force and Magic Power surged simultaneously within him.
"Bear Fury!" Robin shouted low, and his Life Force erupted instantly, as if a raging giant bear awoke in his veins. His strength and stamina peaked at that moment, and a faint golden glow appeared on his body.
Ka Jia Ni saw this, a flash of surprise in his eyes, and said, "Oh? You can still boost your power? Still, that won't change your fate!"
He waved his staff, and the black Sharp Blade hovering in the air shot out instantly, charging straight at Robin.
Robin swiftly swung his Sword, the blade tracing a golden arc in the air, shattering the incoming black Sharp Blades one by one.
The black Sharp Blades were too many; despite giving his all, Robin was still cut on his arm and shoulder by several blades.
"Damn…" Robin growled through clenched teeth, feeling the searing pain from his wounds.
He could no longer stay defensive; he had to strike proactively to have any chance of survival.
"Earth Explosion Arrow!" Robin quickly drew his bow, the arrow gathering rich earth Elemental Energy.
He aimed at Ka Jia Ni and released an arrow.
The arrow traced an earth‑yellow line through the air, heading straight for Ka Jia Ni's chest.
Ka Jia Ni simply waved his hand lightly, and a black barrier appeared before him.
The arrow struck the barrier, unleashing intense earth Elemental Energy, but it failed to breach the defense.
"Petty trick," Ka Jia Ni sneered, then waved his staff, sending a pitch‑black energy wave straight at Robin.
Robin rolled quickly to dodge, but the energy wave was too fast; he barely avoided the vital spots, and his left shoulder was grazed, instantly sending a sharp pain.
Ka Jia Ni's power far exceeded his expectations; even though he had already broken through to the Great Knight realm, he still struggled to match him.
The black energy wave raged through the air, and Robin could only barely evade, his wounds multiplying as blood stained his collar red.
"I can't keep going like this…" Robin thought, a resolute glint in his eyes. He knew he had to find a way to turn the tide, or he would surely die today.
At that moment, a strong Magic Wave suddenly emanated from afar.
A dazzling light streaked across the night sky, charging straight at Ka Jia Ni.
Ka Jia Ni's complexion changed, and he swiftly waved his staff, releasing a Black Dark Magic barrier that barely blocked the attack.
"Who is that?!" Ka Jia Ni roared, his gaze fixed on the source of the light.
Robin seized the chance to step back, looked up, and saw a middle‑aged man in a silver‑white robe hovering in the air, gripping a gem‑inlaid staff, radiating a powerful Magic Wave.
"A First Ring Wizard of the Wizard Council!" Robin felt a jolt, realizing his chance had arrived.
The First Ring Wizard stared coldly at Ka Jia Ni, his tone bearing a hint of authority: "Who are you, daring to trespass into Si Tan Fu Xueyuan? How audacious!"
Ka Jia Ni sneered, a trace of contempt in his eyes: "A mere First Ring Wizard dares to swagger before me? Do you think you can stop me?"
The First Ring Wizard gave no reply, but waved his staff, unleashing a scorching flame that surged at Ka Jia Ni.
Ka Jia Ni quickly retreated, simultaneously waving his staff, releasing Black Dark Magic to clash with the flame.
Robin saw this and quickly calculated; this was the best chance to escape. He inhaled deeply and shouted, "The Soul‑Eating Crystal was taken by Ka Jia Ni! He used the crystal's power to break through to the First Ring Wizard realm!"
Ka Jia Ni heard this, his face turning iron‑blue instantly: "What nonsense are you spouting?!"
Robin's words immediately caught the First Ring Wizard's attention. He turned to Robin, a hint of doubt in his eyes: "What did you say? The Soul‑Eating Crystal is on his hand?"
Robin nodded, his tone firm: "Exactly! I saw with my own eyes him using the Soul‑Eating Crystal's power to break through realms! Those Gold Coins were also deliberately scattered by him to conceal his plot!"
Ka Jia Ni roared, waved his staff, and a pitch‑black energy wave lunged at Robin: "Silence!"
The First Ring Wizard swiftly waved his staff, releasing a Magic Power barrier that blocked Ka Jia Ni's attack. He stared coldly at Ka Jia Ni, his tone edged with anger: "Ka Jia Ni, you dare lay hands on the Soul‑Eating Crystal! The Wizard Council will never let you go!"
Ka Jia Ni gritted his teeth, a flash of panic in his eyes.
He could no longer explain anything.
Robin's words fully exposed his plan, and the Wizard Council would not let him go easily.
"Damned kid!" Ka Jia Ni roared, waved his staff, and unleashed a powerful Black Dark Magic, trying to drive back the First Ring Wizard.
Robin saw this and knew his chance had arrived.
He spun quickly and sprinted toward the direction outside the academy.
Ka Jia Ni and the First Ring Wizard's battle had entered a feverish stage, and no one noticed his departure.
Robin ran through the chaotic academy, evaded several Black Wizards' pursuit, and finally escaped the academy's bounds.
He glanced back and saw the sky above the academy already shrouded by Black Dark Magic and scorching flames, the battle's aftershocks even causing nearby buildings to start collapsing.
"Ka Jia Ni, Wizard Council… you can fight at your leisure," Robin muttered softly, a cold glint in his eyes.
Robin had successfully pointed the Soul‑Eating Crystal's spear at Ka Jia Ni, and the conflict between the Wizard Council and the Black Wizards would intensify. He himself, taking advantage of the chaos, escaped, temporarily eluding both sides' pursuit.
Robin vanished swiftly into the night, racing toward a direction away from the academy.
Robin ran wildly through the night, crossing patches of forest and wasteland, and only stopped after confirming no one was tracking him from behind.
He leaned against a large tree, panting heavily, feeling the surge of Life Force within him.
Though he escaped successfully, his body was exhausted, and the wound on his left shoulder still throbbed faintly.
"I must treat the wound quickly, or it will leave a hidden risk…" Robin whispered, pulling a bottle of healing elixir from his coat—something he had secretly prepared while at the academy. He drank it swiftly, feeling a warm energy circulate within, and the pain in the wound gradually eased.
After treating the wound, Robin leaned against the tree trunk, closed his eyes, and began to practice the Dragon Devouring Breathing Method.
He needed to recover his stamina quickly while contemplating his next plan.
"The fight between Ka Jia Ni and the Wizard Council will likely last for a while, but this is only temporary. Once they realize I'm gone, they'll definitely resume the hunt," Robin thought, a serious glint in his eyes.
Though he had temporarily evaded pursuit, the danger was not gone.
Neither the Black Wizards nor the Wizard Council would let him go easily.
He must quickly find a safe place to continue strengthening his power.
