Meanwhile, Naruto and the others had also risen to their feet, staring in shock at Zabuza and his companion, who were staggering unsteadily.

Not a single person moved.

After all, no one knew whether this fellow might go mad again along the way and treat them as enemies.

But after thinking for a moment, Naruto voiced the question burning in his mind to the Plague Doctor.

"Uncle, those two people were clearly dead just now, yet you... did you resurrect them?"

Naruto looked at the Plague Doctor, his eyes filled with doubt.

What kind of ninjutsu could possibly bring someone back from death to life?

After pondering briefly, the Plague Doctor said to Naruto:

"In a certain sense, you are oversimplifying matters."

Then, the Plague Doctor turned his head to gaze at the distant horizon:

"Broaden your horizons; life and death, illness and health, are merely amateur terms used by amateur doctors."
