Chapter 661: Two Years Later

Lu Chen's 'disappearance' label was gradually changed to 'death,' and he faded into silence. Replacing Lu Chen's former glory was the Yellow Flash, Minato Namikaze.

In one battle, Minato Namikaze killed fifty Jonin from the Hidden Stone Village, causing the Tsuchikage Onoki to be shocked, and the situation on the entire front line completely collapsed!

This battle made Minato Namikaze famous throughout the Ninja World!

The major ninja villages began to fear Minato Namikaze's power, and the turbulent Third Shinobi World War finally began to calm down again.

Many people still remembered the name that had once shaken the Ninja World, the Silver Flash, but this name had gradually faded into silence.

"I didn't expect that such a ninja would also die."

Some people would occasionally sigh when they remembered him.

Although the major ninja villages, including the Leaf, had not received definitive news of the Silver Flash's death, having been missing for two years without reappearing, there would basically be no more surprises.

Gradually.

No one mentioned the name Silver Flash anymore.

Although he had not been forgotten by the Ninja World, as time ruthlessly continued to move forward, he would sooner or later completely become history, disappearing from the memory of the Ninja World.

A certain dim space.

It was somewhat inappropriate to call it a space, because the concept of space did not seem to exist here, and only the scale of time existed.

After devouring the Dragon Pulse energy... or rather, after jumping into the interior of the Dragon Pulse energy, Lu Chen's consciousness appeared here.

Those devoured Dragon Pulse energies seemed to surge into his body, but in reality, they were crazily squeezed and contracted, turning into some kind of energy that distorted time.

Whoosh!!

This energy, which could not be described in words, surged into the interior of the phantom clock in his consciousness world, making the golden light on the phantom clock suddenly become bright.

Lu Chen's consciousness observed that the mist at the 'Scale III' position of the phantom clock was being rapidly dispelled. The mist that might have taken several years or even ten years or more to dispel was rapidly fading in a short period of time, until it completely disappeared!

Hum!

It was precisely when the mist of 'Scale III' completely disappeared and lit up with light that the power of distorted time and space drawn from the Dragon Pulse seemed to be exhausted as well.

This world, which seemed to have no concept of space and was merely a dim world, also seemed like a dark curtain, being torn to shreds, and images reappeared before his eyes.

Loulan two years later.

A certain place below the Dragon Pulse stone platform.

Countless light spots rapidly intertwined, and those countless light spots finally gathered into Lu Chen's figure. Immediately after, he opened his eyes.

Realizing that he was in the air, falling downward, Lu Chen immediately formed hand seals with one hand, used a Shadow Clone, and pushed his main body upward.

Whoosh!!

Lu Chen landed on the stone platform above the Dragon Pulse.

Noticing that the stone platform and the surroundings of the high tower had no signs of damage, nor did it look like it had experienced long-term weathering, Lu Chen immediately breathed a slight sigh of relief.

"It seems I wasn't sent to the distant future..."

"But it doesn't seem to be the previous time node either."

Lu Chen pondered for a moment, his consciousness entered the phantom space, briefly merged with the phantom clock, and soon learned the specific changes in the situation from the phantom clock.

No space was crossed.

This was still the previous world.

It was just that two years had passed, and it was now the 47th year of the Leaf.

In the process of absorbing the Dragon Pulse energy, he disappeared on the time scale. Although it was only for an instant, when he returned, this world had skipped two years.

"Equivalent to being sealed for two years, and then breaking the seal and appearing again..."

Lu Chen muttered, couldn't help but shake his head, and sighed, "Time is truly a terrifying thing."

Fortunately, it only skipped two years and didn't jump directly to the Fourth Shinobi World War period.

The problem was not big.

However, in this way, it seemed that Kakashi was actually one year older than him.

Hmm.

Just don't tell him. Anyway, even if two years had passed, in terms of actual physical age, Kakashi was still the younger brother; the current Kakashi was only twelve years old.

"By the way..."

"It seems the corresponding ability of 'Scale III' has been unlocked."

Lu Chen closed his eyes slightly.

When he opened his eyes again, deep in his pupils, a pale golden clock was reflected. The clock's hand clicked, turned twice continuously from the 'Scale I' position, and landed on the 'Scale III' position.

Hum!!

The next moment.

A layer of halo that only Lu Chen could see suddenly spread out from his body, instantly expanding to a range of nearly ten meters, and then became still.

"This is..."

Lu Chen gazed at the peculiar domain that rippled out with his own position as the center, his eyes flickering. He perceived that the halo of that domain was the power of time!

Time Domain!

This was the ability corresponding to 'Scale III'!

Lu Chen raised his hand and clenched his fist. In an instant, including himself, the flow of time within the entire domain suddenly changed, forming a completely different contrast with the world outside the domain.

"Is it equivalent to a Time Chamber..."

Lu Chen muttered, then joined his left index and middle fingers, burst out a streak of lightning, swung it toward the ground, and split a crack in the ground.

Then.

He suddenly loosened the fist his right hand was holding.

The light screen of the Time Domain trembled, but nothing changed.

"Cannot use time reversal on the entire range of the Time Domain... No, that's not right..."

Lu Chen's eyes flickered slightly, and he suddenly curled one finger. A wisp of strange energy gathered at his fingertip, forming a small ball like a glass marble.
