Chapter 28: Badge Mission — Two Huge Blocks Right at the Start!

"What... what a faraway block!"

"So strong!"

"Who is that number 5? Why don't I have any impression of him?!"

After a brief silence, the spectator stands suddenly erupted into an uproar. Of the several matches being played simultaneously, the audience's focus instantly narrowed to only one: Bai Shui Hall vs. Enchōji.

"Don't..."

"Don't mind it!"

"It's fine. The opponent just jumped a little higher, that's all. The timing of the block was just luck. Don't let it get to you. Just play solid defense from here on out!"

The captain of Enchōji Middle School was the first to recover from his daze. As usual, he immediately clapped his hands to draw his teammates' attention back, while also taking the chance to rally them.

Hearing the captain's words, the other Enchōji Middle School players also came back to their senses one after another.

That's right.

It had to have been luck just now.

A block from the free-throw line all the way to the three-point line — with a jumping distance that long, once you launch yourself it's not easy to pull back. That number 5's block must have had a gamble in it!

However...

He jumped way too high, didn't he?!

On the other side.

Delight flashed in Yukimiya Kazuma's eyes.

Because just before that block, regarding how to obtain the badge, the system had finally given a clear acquisition method. That was why Yukimiya Kazuma couldn't wait to pounce, even leaping up first.
