Chapter 25: What kind of move is this again?

Meanwhile.

Hilton Hotel!

This night, it could be said that Chu Chen slept very comfortably.

When he woke up in the morning, the fatigue of the past few days was swept away in an instant.

At this moment, the live stream camera happened to switch into Chu Chen's room.

Seeing this guy still lying leisurely on the bed, the barrage in the live stream room suddenly increased:

【God Chu, hurry and retreat, Team Captain is already on the way!】

【Yeah, God Chu, this place is not suitable for a long stay!】

【Team Captain will arrive at the battlefield in five seconds!】

【I really can't imagine this is the life of a fugitive, I'm envious...】

【God Chu really raised the standard of living for fugitives on the show single-handedly...】

【Haha! Indeed!】

Inside the live stream, there was much discussion.

And just at this moment, Chu Chen had already put on his clothes and started checking the anti-intrusion traps he had set up in various rooms last night to see if anyone had touched them!

Right now, he was, after all, the primary target for the Capture Team.

To ensure he was one hundred percent safe, he had to remain vigilant at all times, even when sleeping!

Before going to sleep last night, Chu Chen had installed simple and effective anti-intrusion traps in many rooms!

Some used red wine bottles, while others used dining plates.

All were daily items that easily made noise.

Watching Chu Chen check the traps he had laid one by one, the barrage in the live stream room erupted again:

【Holy crap! These things were actually all traps?】

【How many points do you give this move?】

【Must give 10 points, don't be afraid of him getting arrogant!】

【Amazing! This is really too meticulous!】

【God Chu's Anti-Reconnaissance ability is really strong!】

【Yeah, every step is a prediction!】

【Learned something!】

Soon, after checking all the traps in the room, Chu Chen went to the bathroom to wash up.

However, for the sake of caution, he still did not reveal his true face and continued to maintain the appearance of that young foreign man!

The sound of rushing Water came from the bathroom.

At this moment, Zhou Yun and more than a dozen members of the Pursuit Team had already arrived outside the room under the guidance of a hotel attendant!

After arriving at the location, Zhou Yun lowered his voice and said to the attendant:

"Are you sure he is inside?"

The attendant nodded and replied in broken English: "I am sure."

"OK."

Saying this, Zhou Yun gave the attendant a look, signaling her to open the door with the room card.

Seeing his gaze, the attendant understood instantly, took out the room card directly, and swiped it lightly on the door lock!

The next second.

Accompanied by a crisp click, the door slowly opened.

At the same time, the trap Chu Chen had set behind the door was triggered instantly!

A bottle of '82 Lafite fell directly to the ground, staining the floor red!

Seeing this scene, Zhou Yun didn't think much and charged straight in!

Following closely, the other members of the Pursuit Team also filed in one after another!

Inside the bathroom!

Hearing the trap being triggered and the chaotic sound of footsteps, Chu Chen realized something was wrong instantly!

He knew it must be the people from the Pursuit Team who had arrived.

He really didn't expect these people to be so fast.

He had only arrived in San Luis yesterday, and they had already found his hiding place this morning.

As expected of a top-tier pursuit team, their efficiency is truly high!

However, facing the impending trouble, Chu Chen did not flee in a panic.

At this moment, he was as calm as an outsider; he first walked out of the bathroom unhurriedly, and then proceeded to the dining area in a leisurely manner!

Arriving at the dining area, he let out a long breath, then directly picked up a chair and smashed the floor-to-ceiling window next to him!

Next, he casually picked up an ashtray from the dining table and smashed it hard against his own forehead!

"Thud!"

After a muffled sound, blood flowed down his forehead instantly!

Seeing this scene, the audience in the live stream room were all stunned:

【??????????】

【What's the situation?】

【What is he doing?】

【Nani? What kind of move is this again?】

【What a ruthless man! He's truly brutal to himself!】

【It hurts just looking at it!】

Meanwhile.

Inside the room.

Hearing the strange noise from the dining area, Zhou Yun and the group of Pursuit Team members were immediately drawn over, arriving in front of Chu Chen!

Seeing them arrive, Chu Chen braced his body while covering his forehead with his hand, and asked Zhou Yun, "Who are you people?"

"Chu Chen, you are under arrest!"

"What are you talking about?!" Chu Chen asked back, enduring the pain.

"Heh."

Zhou Yun sneered twice, and without offering much explanation, he took out his phone and held the photo sent by the Expert Group in front of him: "This person is you, right?"

In this photo, he had already disguised himself as the appearance of that young foreigner.

"You've made a mistake... this person isn't me... My name is Smith, I'm from Melbourne, and the person in this photo is someone from the island nation who disguised himself as me!"

Chu Chen denied it in fluent English.

"Someone from the island nation?" Zhou Yun was a bit bewildered by what he said.

Seeing this, Chu Chen continued:

"That's right, it was that islander who stole my passport and wallet! This room was opened by him using my passport! Damn it! That hateful guy! Just now I came here to find him, and he attacked me with that ashtray, then smashed this window and ran away! You... sss... you are here to rescue me, right?"

Hearing him say this, Zhou Yun finally began to believe that the person in front of him was not Chu Chen!

Realizing that the situation might have changed, he hurriedly ordered the two Pursuit Team members beside him: "You two call him an ambulance, the rest of you follow me!"

With that, he took the lead, climbed through the smashed floor-to-ceiling window, and began climbing down the building via the fire escape!

At this moment.

The audience in the livestream room was completely shocked by Chu Chen's Deceiving the Heavens and Crossing the Sea maneuver!

Various bullet comments popped up one after another, quickly flooding the screen:

【Holy crap, 666!!!】

【Awesome! Too awesome!】

【God Chu's acting is truly superb!】

【Show-off, is that you?】

【You might not believe it, but I almost believed it myself!】

【God Chu, this year's Oscar for Best Actor belongs to you!】

【Wait, isn't he even nervous?】

【If it were me, I reckon I would have given the game away long ago!】

【The acting is just too realistic! It's simply god-tier acting!】

Having tricked Zhou Yun, Chu Chen soon boarded an ambulance with the support of the two Pursuit Team members.

However, he did not go to the hospital.

Instead, he made up an excuse and left.

Right now, the attention of the Expert Group and the Pursuit Team should still be at the hotel.

Taking advantage of this time, he hailed a taxi and arrived at St. Louis International Airport, preparing to use this opportunity to leave this place of trouble and return to Huaxia!
